longer if you limit its exposure to UV rays. Pitch the tent in shade when possible and don’t leave the tent up longer than necessary.
• Take down the tent when not in use to avoid unnecessary fading from outdoor elements. Fading or discoloring of fabric
is not covered under your warranty.
• Take down the tent when not in use to avoid unnecessary damage.
• Use extra tie-down ropes during excessive winds.
• Never put the tent away wet. Always put away dry and clean to avoid mildew and other problems.

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the tent from the due bag. Remove the tie strap from
around the tent. [SEE FIGURE 1 ]
FIGURE 1
2. Lay the tent at on the ground and check that there is no
material twisted or overlapping the ends of any poles.
DO NOT force tent when folding or unfolding. Watch for the
entanglement of poles. [ SEE FIGURE 2 ]
NOTE: When unfolding, check that the Gazelle logo and webbing
loops are visible. This is the EXTERIOR of the tent. The poles and
hubs are the INTERIOR of the tent.
NOTE: For easy set-up in windy conditions, make sure to posi-
tion one of the corners of the tent into the wind, and stake that
corner down through the provided grommet.
FIGURE 2
3. Find the webbing loop handle located on the exterior of each
hub, centered on each wall. Proceed to pull outward until the
wall pops open. Do this to all SIDE WALLS rst. [ SEE FIGURE 3 ]
NOTE: If the webbing loops are not visible, reach under the bot-
tom of the panel and/or unzip either side of the wind panel, to
locate the webbing at the center of the wall underneath.
NOTE: For added assistance, grasp the top seam of the panel and
place your foot on the bottom edge when popping open a side
wall panel to help hold the tent in place.
NOTE: At this time, the rain y can be attached. See ATTACHING
THE RAIN FLY for further instruction.
NOTE: The tent is usable with or without the rain y installed but
will not protect from the rain/elements without. FIGURE 3
4. Once all walls are popped open, locate the zipper door, unzip
both the outer door and mesh door, and enter the tent. Once
inside, nd the hub for the roof. Proceed to push up on the hub
OR roof poles until it pops over center. Do this on both sides of
the tent. [ SEE FIGURE 4 ]
NOTE: This step should be done with caution as there is tension
on the roof hub and pole assemblies.
OPTIONAL: To attach the overhead gear lofts, insert toggles into
the “O” rings on the inside of the roof.
FIGURE 4

5. Locate the two (longer) corded poles in the due bag. Assemble
the pole by interlocking the two ends together. Go back inside
the tent and locate the small pockets on the top and bottom
of the seams alongside the door. Position each pole vertically,
inserting each end in the top and bottom pockets, then secure
with the hook/loop strap in the center of the vertical seam. Do
this on both sides of the door. [ SEE FIGURE 5 ]
NOTE: To access the bottom pocket, detach the removable oor
from the corner to expose the bottom pocket. [ SEE FIGURE 5A ]
FIGURE 5
7. Locate the ground stakes and tie-down ropes in the due bag
then fasten the stakes through each grommet. Hammer stakes
through each grommet completely. [SEE FIGURE 7 ]
FIGURE 7
6. Tie the rope to each eye bolt, centered on each hub.
[ SEE FIGURE 8 ] Then loop the other end to a ground stake.
[ SEE FIGURE 8A ] Use the slider on the tie-down rope to
achieve proper tension.
FIGURE 8
6. Locate the shorter corded pole in the due bag. Assemble the pole
by interlocking the two ends together. Go back inside the tent and
locate the two pockets on either side above the door. Insert each
end into the pockets and secure with hook/loop strap centered
above the door. [ SEE FIGURE 6 ]

ATTACHING THE RAIN FLY
3. Starting at one corner, insert the male end of the short poles
attached to the rain y into the female end of the roof pole on
each tent corner. Repeat this for all four corners.
[SEE FIGURE 10 ]
FIGURE 10
4. Enter the tent and push up to pop up the roof panels.
NOTE: This step should be done with caution as there is tension
on the roof hub and pole assemblies.
5. Outside the tent, fasten the plastic hook to the eye bolt of the
back panel. [ SEE FIGURE 11 ]
FIGURE 11
1. The tent must be free standing with all ve (5) walls popped out
and the ROOF COLLAPSED. [ SEE FIGURE 9 ]
NOTE: It’s important that the roof is collapsed to prevent
bending of pole ends.
2. Slide the rain y loosely over the tent roof. The short connecting
poles should be on the underside of the rain y.
NOTE: Make sure that your rain y is oriented so that the side
without a plastic hook is above the front door and the side with
the single plastic hook is above the back entrance with D-door.
FIGURE 9
6. For full rain protection, stake the large side panels along the length
of each side of the rain y to the ground. [ SEE FIGURE 12 ]. When
not in use, these large side panels can be rolled up and stored along
the upper seam of the rain y. [ SEE FIGURE 12A ]
FIGURE 12
FIGURE 12A

1. Remove all stakes and tie-downs.
2. If the rain y is attached see REMOVING THE RAIN FLY.
3. If the gear lofts are attached, partially remove them by unhooking two adjacent corners so that the roof hub can move freely.
4. Enter the tent and unfasten the vertical and horizontal (3) poles by the vertical screen door from the hook and loop sleeves centered on
the seam. Remove the poles from the small pockets and disassemble the corded section so each pole is folded in half.
5. From inside the tent, zip all the windows shut.
6. From inside the tent, gently pull the roof poles/hub down to collapse the roof. DO NOT stand directly underneath the hub
when collapsing.
7. From outside, zip the door shut to prevent tangling of poles. Push the center hub to collapse the wall. Do this to each wall.
8. Once all the hubs are collapsed, gather all corners of the of tent and fold together into a tight cone shape. Do not force the tent when
folding and watch for entanglement of poles.
NOTE: It helps to partially separate a small section of the hook/loop connection between the oor and the tent wall so that the air
trapped inside can escape, allowing for quicker and more condensed packing.
9. Take the provided strap and wrap it around the folded tent and secure for easier insertion into the due bag. Place the folded tent back
into the due bag with the hubs inserted into the closed end of the bag.
TAKEDOWN INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLING THE FLOOR
1. VERY IMPORTANT! Unhook the plastic hook from the hub by the back entrance with the D-door.
2. From inside the tent, gently pull the roof poles/hubs down to collapse both roofs. DO NOT stand directly underneath the hub when
collapsing.
3. One at a time, pull the rain y poles straight out of the roof pole sockets.
4. Slide the rain y o the tent.
5. Fold the rain y and store in the due bag.
NOTE: Make sure the rain y is clean and dry before folding and storing.
REMOVING THE RAIN FLY MUST FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS TO PREVENT POLE ENDS BENDING!
1. The tent must be set up before installing the oor.
2. The tent needs to be spread out, so it is taut and staked down.
3. Spread the oor out loosely inside the tent.
NOTE: Align the colored tabs at the center of each side of the
oor to the colored tabs at the center of the tent panels.
4. Start at the center of each wall using the colored aligning tabs as
guides. Press the hook and loop strips together, working towards
the corners. [ SEE FIGURE 13 ]
NOTE: The tent can be taken down and stored with or without
the oor installed.
