Preparation before start-up
1. Inspectelectric equipment.
Check key switch, headlight, horn, starting circuit.

2.
Refuel
Usethe mixture of the gasoline and the two-stroke engine
oil. The volume ratio is 25-30:l. (See graph2) use a clean
and special fuel glass and grasp cap to shake in more than

3. Check and clean the air filter
The air filter must be often cleaned, or the pollutedair filter
will lowerthe output power of the engine. If the air filter is
blockedby dust, usegasolineto clean the air filter, then dip
in the oil, wring oil out and put the air filter back.(Seegraph3)

(3). Openthe throttle half.
r
(4).
Drawthe starter several times slowly, and then draw quickly.
Note:
If
the excessivegasoline causes the start difficulty, take down the ignition plugand the input
pipe, openthe chock and the throttle totally, draw the starter several times, then installthe input pipe
and start the engine. After the star-up, openthe chock totally.
2. Electricalstart
(1).
Turn on the gasoline switch; Close the chocktotally; Openthe throttle half.
(2). Pulldown the start switch (The start of the motor shouldwork in a short time, pullingdown the start
switch should less than
5
seconds and forbidto pull down the start switchfor a longtime).
Note:
1.
Forbidto pulldown the start switch by the act of "spotstart", the "spotstart" shouldfinish in a short
time. The starting motor can't work.
2. The runningsoundof the gasoline engines can helpyou analyze whether the shortage or not at the
momentof pullingdown the start switch (about 2-5s), if the voltage is enough, the running sound is in
order and clear; if not, the running part can't work normally.
3. Pulling down the start switch at first (about 2-5s), you will hear the clear and orderly sound.
If
the start

fails, usethe electric start after 5 seconds. If the start fails for
3
times, you shouldcheck the motor. Forbid
to useelectric start often.
Maintenance
1.
Daily check
(1). Check all screws and nuts and see if they are loosened.
(2). Check fuel leakage or air leakage.
(3). Checkwhether electric equipment is working.
2. Check after running 20 hours.
(1). Cleanthe air filter.
(2).Cleanthe fuel strainer.
3.
Check after running 50 hours.
(1).
Refastenthe nutsof the cylinder.
(2). Clean the accumulatedcarbon both in the combustion chamber and in the exhaust of the cylinder.
(3).Cleanthe accumulated carbon in spark plug; adjust the clearance to 0.5-0.7mm. (Seegraph

Storage
If the scooter isn't usedfor a longtime, it must be maintainedas follows:
1.
Removethe fuel inthe tank and inthe carburetor, close the chock totally, draw the starter 3-5 times.
2. Take down the spark plug, add certain engineoil from the spark plughole into the cylinder, and draw
the starter 2-3 times to movethe piston to the top dead center, then installthe spark plug.
3.
Usethe scft clothwith engine oilto cleanthe surfaceof the engine, smear wax on the frame and put
the engine to the dry and windy place for the next use.
Trouble shooting
1.
Failto start
(1).
Gasoline mixedwith water. Please replace it.

(2).The spark plug has accumulatedcarbon or hasbeen brokenthrough.
(3). Poor contact of the high-voltage wire with the spark plug.
2.
The engine can start, but can't run speedily.
(1).The choke is open totally or not.
(2). The ratioof the engine oil and the gasoline is normalor not.
(3).
Maybethere is water inthe gasoline.
3. The gasoline engine can run, but has not enoughpower.
(1). Maybethe air filter is blockedby dust.
(2). Maybethe cylinder exhaust and the muffler are blocked bythe accumulated carbon.
(3). The pistonrings and cylinder have been badlyworn out.
(4). Maybethe fuel strainer is blockedby dust.
(5).
The body or the top of the shaft hasoil leakageand air leakage.
4. The gasoline engine stops suddenlywhen running.
(1).
Runout of the gasoline.
(2).
The high-voltage wire drops.
(3). The spark plughasaccumulatedcarbon or has been brokenthrough.
