Whencharging, if the camera indicator isred, it means
that the battery isnotfully charged; whenthe camera
indicator turns green,it indicatesthat the battery is
fully chargedand ready to use{to optimize battery
life,charge the battery for at least four hours when
charging it for the first time).

1. Pressthe Powerbutton to turn the camera on.
2. Pressthe @ button, pressUp/Downbutton to switch
between menus,selectGeneralSetupMenu,pressQ
button to enterSet Menu.
After the camera ispoweredon,set the camera to Auto mode
by turning the Mode Dialat the top ofthe camera (seepage
23).
Set Display Language
1. Inthe GeneralSetup Menu,pressUp/Downbutton to
select Language,pressQ or Rightbutton to enter setting
mode.
2. Usethe Up/Down/Left/Right buttons to select the desired
language.
3. Pressthe _ button to confirm the setting.

Extremelyhigh-precision technology hasbeen usedto
manufacture the LCDscreentoensure most of thepixelsore
operational. Onoccasion,there may besome minute points
(black,white, red, blueor green)that consistently appearon o
the LCDscreen.Thesepoints are normal inthe manufacturing
processanddo not affect the recording processin any way.
_ Avoid exposingthe LCDscreento water; removeany
moisture onthe LCDscreenwith asoft, drycleaning
cloth.
If liquid from inside the LCDscreen comes in contact with
your skin, wipe the area with a clean cloth and then wash
thoroughly with soap and running water.
Ifliquid from insidethe LCDscreengets into youreye,flush
the affectedeye with cleanwater for at least 15minutes
andthen seekmedicalassistance immediately.
Ifthe liquid crystal displayor the liquid insideit are
swallowed, flushyour mouth thoroughly with water.
Drinklarge quantities of water andinducevomiting. Seek
medical assistanceimmediately.
