Thisproductisequipped withpush-intypelamps. Do nottwistlamps.

This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the
fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Also unplug any additional strings or products that may be attached to
theproduct. Replacethefuseaspertheuserservicinginstructions(followproductmarkingforproperfuserating)and
checkthe product.Ifthereplacement fuseblows,ashort-circuit maybepresentandtheproduct shouldbe discarded.

USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
a)
Whentheproductisplacedonalivetree,thetreeshouldbewellmaintainedandfresh.Donotplaceonlivetreesinwhich
theneedlesarebrownorbreakoffeasily.Keepthetreeholderfilledwithwater.
b)
Iftheproductisplacedonatree,thetreeshouldbe wellsecuredandstable.
c)
Beforeusingorreusing,inspectproductcarefully.Discardanyproductsthathavecut,damaged,orfrayedwireinsulationor
cords,cracksinthelampholdersorenclosures,looseconnections,orexposedcopperwire.
d)
Whenstoringtheproduct,carefullyremovetheproductfromwhereveritisplaced,includingtree,branches,orbushes,to
avoidanyunduestrainorstressontheproductconductors,connections,andwires.
e)
Whennotinuse,storeneatlyinacool,drylocationprotectedfromsunlight.
USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
Replace the fuse:
a)
Graspplugandremovefromthereceptacleorotheroutletdevice.Donotunplugbypullingoncord.
b)
Openfusecover.Slideopenfuseaccesscoverontopofattachmentplugtowardsblades.

c)
Removefusecarefully.
d)
Riskoffire.Replacefuse onlywith3Amp,125Voltfuse(providedwithproduct).
e)
Closefusecover.Slideclosedthefuseaccesscoverontopofattachmentplug.
f)
Riskoffire.Donotreplace attachmentplug.Containsasafetydevice(fuse)that
shouldnotberemoved.Discardproductifthe attachmentplugisdamaged.
For lamp replacement:
Thisstringcontainstwodifferentlampholderassemblies-steadyilluminating
andindividuallyflashing.DONOTreplaceasteadyilluminatingwithanindividually
flashingassembly.
Replacethe lamp:
Thelampoftheindividuallyflashinglampisgluedintoitsbase.DONOTremoveor
exchangewith asteadyilluminatingassembly.
For steady illuminatinglamps:
Step1:Graspplugandremovefromthereceptacleorotheroutletdevice. Donotunplugbypullingoncord.
Step2:Pulllampandplastic Step3:Replacelampwith only3Volt,0.51Watt (super
basestraightoutof bright)typelamp(providedwith
lampholder. product).
Ifthenewlampbasedoes notfitinlampholder,followthestepsbelowbeforestep3.
a)
Removethebaseofburnedoutlampby straighteninglampleadsandgentlypulllampout.
b)
Threadleadsofnewlampthroughholesinoldbasewithoneleadineachhole.
c)
Afterlampisfullyinsertedintobase,bendeachleadup, likeotherlampsinthe
lightsetsothattheleadswilltouchthecontactsinsidethelampholder.
For individual-flashing lamps:
Step1:Graspplugandremovefromthereceptacleorotheroutletdevice. Donotunplugbypullingoncord.
Step2:Pulllampandplastic Step3:Replacelampwithonly7Volt,1.05Watt(super
basestraightoutof bright)typelamp(providedwith
lampholder. product).
CAUTION:
1.Thislightingstringisrated61.2Watts(0.51Amps),donotoverload.Connectotherlighting
stringsordecorativeoutfits end-to-enduptoamaximumof21

Watts(1.8Amps)total.
IfconnectingtoaLightingStringthatdoesnothavea Wattage(W)rating,

foundonthecordtagwithin6inchesofthe
plug
}
,calculatethewattageasfollows:Multiplythecurrent( A),whichisontheflag-typetagby120.
Forexample:LightingStringisrated120V,60Hz,0.2Amps.0.2x120=24Watts.
Addthewattageof eachlightstringtogetherforatotalof21

2.Toreducetheriskofoverheating,replaceburnedoutlampspromptly.Use3volt,0.51wattforsteadyilluminatinglamps
and7volt,1.05wattindividuallyflashingassemblies.
3.Toreducetheriskoffireelectricshock:a)Donotinstallontreeshavingneedles,leavesorbranchcoveringsofmetalor
materialsthatlooklikemetal,andb)Donotmountorsupportstringsina mannerthatcancutordamagewireinsulation.
