•To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not remove covers. No user serviceable parts inside. Please
refer servicing to qualified personnel.
•To reduce the risk of electrical shock or fire, do not expose the equipment to rain or moisture.
•Do not impose unnecessary stress on your equipment (i.e. placing heavy objects on it, overscrewing its
mounting etc).
•Read and keep the instruction manuals in a safe place for future references.
•Do not attempt to clean the equipment with chemical solvents as this may damage the finish. Clean only
with dry cloth.
•Do not block any ventilation openings.
•Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus that
produce heat.
•Do not defeat the purpose of the polarized or grounding type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with
one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide
blade or the grounding prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet,
consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet.
•Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles,
and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
•Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when it is not in use for a long period of time.

•Use only attachments / accessories specified by the manufacturer.
•Always shut down power supply when not in use to save energy and for prolonged lifespan.
•Exposure to extremely high noise levels may cause permanent hearing loss. Individuals vary
considerably in susceptibility to noise-induced hearing loss, but nearly everyone will lose some hearing if
exposed to sufficiently intense noise for a period of time. The U.S. Government’s Occupational Safety
and Health Administration (OSHA) has specified the permissible noise level exposures shown in the
following chart. According to OSHA, any exposure in excess of these permissible limits could result in
some hearing loss. To ensure against potentially dangerous exposure to high sound pressure levels, it is
recommended that all persons exposed to equipment capable of producing high sound pressure levels
use hearing protectors while the equipment is in operation. Ear plugs or protectors in the ear canals or
over the ears must be worn when operating the equipment in order to prevent permanent hearing loss if
exposure is in excess of the limits set forth here:
Duration/Day (Hours) dB, Sound Pressure Level (SPL) Descriptions
Below 90dB Safe zone

2.00 100 Serious hearing damage

CONTROL ELEMENTS
CONTROL ELEMENTS
FRONT PANEL
1. POWER LED
Illuminates (red) when AC power is being supplied to the unit.
2. LEVEL / CLIP LED
Illuminates green when a signal is present. Illuminates red when the input signal level is within 6dB of
clipping. The input level should be adjusted so that the CLIP LED illuminates red occasionally on input signal
peaks. Continuous CLIP LED illumination means there is a risk of distortion and/or reduced DSP
performance.
3. POWER SWITCH
PUSH ON/PUSH OFF switch. To turn the unit ON, depress the switch until the POWER LED [1] illuminates.
Depress again to turn the unit OFF.
4. INPUT LEVEL CONTROL
Adjusts the input sensitivity for optimum matching with the input signal. The level should be adjusted so that
the CLIP LED illuminates red occasionally on input signal peaks. Failure to adjust the input level correctly
may caused increased distortion and degraded signal-to-noise performance.
5. DRY / WET MIX CONTROL
Adjusts from all DRY (full counterclockwise) to all WET (full clockwise) with variable mix in-between. The 12
o'clock position yields a 1:1 mix ratio.
NOTES: An audible drop in signal level may occur at the 12 o'clock position due to
cancellation of certain frequencies that are out of phase.
6. OUTPUT LEVEL CONTROL
Adjusts the overall signal level available at the LEFT and RIGHT outputs.
7. PARAMETER 1 / PARAMETER 2 CONTROLS
Adjusts the selected variable as indicated in the EFFECTS LEGEND [9]. (Delay Time, Reverb Time, etc).

8. PARAMETER (PRESET) SELECT DIAL
Allows selection of any of the 16 presets (effects) listed in the EFFECTS LEGEND [9]. Upon selecting a new
preset, the CLIP LED [2] will blink red indicating that the effect has finished loading.
NOTES: Whenever a new preset is selected, the effect will load whatever the
current settings are for the PARAMETER CONTROLS [7].
9. EFFECTS LEGEND
A list of the 16 presets and the parameters (time, rate, etc.) that are controlled for each of the following
presets/effects:

REAR PANEL
10. ROTARY SPEAKER SPEED / DEFEAT CONNECTOR
A ¼” TRS input for connecting an optional PUSH ON/PUSH OFF foot switch for remote defeat of all effects
except ROTARY SPEAKER. This defeat feature mutes the INPUT to the effects processor and thereby
allows reverb tails (and other similar effects) to fade normally. When the ROTARY SPEAKER preset is
selected, the foot switch selects the ROTARY SPEAKER speed and allows morphing between the low and
high speeds.
11. AUDIO OUTPUTS (RIGHT AND LEFT/MONO)
¼” LEFT/MONO and ¼” RIGHT OUTPUT connectors. For MONO operation, use the LEFT/MONO OUTPUT,
which passively sums the STEREO image from the two OUTPUTS into the LEFT/MONO OUTPUT (as long
as nothing is plugged into the RIGHT OUTPUT connector).
12. AUDIO INPUTS (RIGHT AND LEFT/MONO)
¼” LEFT/MONO and ¼” RIGHT INPUT connectors. For MONO operation, use the LEFT/MONO INPUT,
which splits the LEFT INPUT into the RIGHT signal chain (as long as no signal is plugged into the RIGHT
INPUT connector).
13. AC ADAPTOR INPUT
This unit utilizes an AC adaptor for power. Connect the adaptor to the proper voltage as indicated on the
adaptor housing. Insert the barrel plug end into the AC ADAPTOR INPUT of your unit. If the adaptor is lost or
damaged, replace it with an adaptor of the same input and output ratings.
WARNING: If your original power adaptor must be replaced, consult your GECKO®
dealer to get the correct replacement. Failure to use the correct power supply may
result in fire, shock hazard, decreased performance, non-operation, and extensive
damage which is not covered by the warranty.
