SETTING
Connecting the CLA 1
ToconnecttheCLA1 toyourphonepleasefollowtheinstructions
carefully. Seepictures onpage3 tolocate theplugs andsocket.
1-Disconnectyourhandset fromyourphone base.
2 - Connect the CLA 1 short curly cord (4) to the handset phone
socket.
3-ConnectthehandsetcurlycordtotheCLA1handsetsocket
(3) .
4 - Connect the headset (option) to the headset socket (1) .
Select your phone
TohavethebestreceivinglevelsettheswitchCL-B/CL(6)located
under the CLA 1 to the desired position, the CL-B position must
be used for phones with handset boost feature (like CL 200,CL
400, CL 500) and CL position for normal phone (like CL 50, CL
100).
Select the function mode (Handset / headset)
Youcanselect thefunction modebyusingtheswitch (2) located
onthe CLA 1 toptoselect thehandset bysettingtheswitchtothe
position and the headset by setting the switch to the .
TheCLA 1isnow readytouse.
Note: TheCLA 1 functionality areonlyguaranted withGeemarc
telephones CL 50 to CL 500 range.

How to use the handset
Makesurethattheswitch(2)issetto .Whenyoureceiveacall
lift the handset from the cradle and speak, at the end of the call
replacethehandsetinthe phonecradle.
How to use the earpiece
Whenyoureceiveacall,liftthehandsetfromthecradleandspeak.
A second person can lift the earpiece and use it as a handset to
listentotheconversation.Oryoucanputtheearpiecetoyourother
eartoimprove yourreception.Attheend ofthecallsimplyreplace
thehandset andthe earpiecein theirrespective cradles.
Note: Inthiscase, earpieceandhandsetcanbeusedat thesame
time.
How to use the headset (headset is not supplied)
Whenyoureceiveacall,liftyourhandsetandplaceitnearthephone
base,makesurethattheswitch(2) isset to .Thenspeakand
listenyourcorrespondentwithyourheadset(Geemarcheadsetref:
HEADSCL_BLK).Attheendofthecallreplacethehandsetinthe
phonecradle.
Note: Inthiscase,earpieceandheadsetcanbeusedatthesame
time.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The CLA 1 will work with all CLEARSOUND 50 to 500 series. It
mayhappendthatCLA1doesnotworkwith telephonesfromothers
suppliers, we cannot guarantee the functionality of the
CLA 1 in this case.
Note:ifyougetaloudnoiseoscillationorcracklingwhenconnecting
the headset simply press the switch (7) located under the
CLA 1 toavoidthe problem(earpiece polarity).
TROUBLE SHOOTING
- No dial tone: Make sure everythings is connected in the correct
plugs.
- The receiving level is too low or too high: Check the CL-B/CL
switchlocatedunder yourCLA 1.
-Cracklingintotheheadsetorearpiece:checkthe switch(7)
located underthe CLA 1.
-Nothinghappensafterfollowingtheinstructionsabove:checkyour
telephoneandthenetworkconnection.

REGLAGES ET UTILISATION
Connecter le CLA 1
PourconnecterleCLA 1 à votretéléphonesuivez simplementles
instructionssuivantes.Aidez-vous desphotospage3 poureffec-
tuerlesconnections.
1- Déconnectez lecombiné dela basedevotre téléphone.
2-Connectez lepetitcordonduCLA 1 (4)surla prisecombinéde
votrebase.
3-Connectez lecordondevotrecombinésurlaprisedeconnection
combiné du CLA 1 (3) .
4 - Connectez le casque dans la prise casque du CLA 1 (2).
Sélectionnez votre téléphone
Pour obtenir les performances correspondant à votre téléphone,
positionnez l’interrupteur CL-B/CL (6)situéendessous duCLA 1
surla positiondésirée, la positionCL-B etdestinée pourles télé-
phones ayant la fonction boost sur le combiné (CL200, CL400,
CL500) et laposition CL pourles combinésnormaux (CL 50,CL
100, BB 100, BB 300).
Selectionnez le mode de fonctionnement (combiné / casque)
Vouspouvezsélectionner lemodede fonctionnementenutilisant
l’interrupteur (2) situé sur le dessus du CLA 1 pour sélectionner
l’unoul’autremodede fonctionnement.Positionnezl’interrupteur
sur la position pour utiliser le combiné et sur la position
pourutiliserle casque.LeCLA 1 estmaintenantprêtàêtreutilisé.
Note: Nousgarantissons lefonctionnementdu CLA 1 seulement
qu’avec les téléphones de la gamme CL50 à CL500 et BB100 à
BB300.

Utilisation du combiné
Vérifiezquel’interrupteur(2)estpositionnésur .Lorsquevous
recevez un appel décrochez le combiné et parlez. A la fin de la
conversationreplacezlecombinésur sonsupport.
Utilisation de l’écouteur
Lorsque vous recevez un appel, décrochez votre combiné et
parlez. Une deuxième personne peut prendre l’écouteur et l’utili-
sertoutsimplementcommeuncombinépourécouterlaconversa-
tion.Vouspouvezaussileporteràvotreoreillepouraugmenterle
niveauderéception.Alafinde laconversation,replacez toutsim-
plement lecombiné etl’écouteursur leursupportsrespectifs.
Note: Vous pouvez utiliser dans ce cas l’écouteur et le combiné
enmême temps.
Utilisation du casque (non fourni)
Lorsque vousrecevezunappel,décrochez votrecombinéet pla-
cez-lesurlecôtédevotretéléphone.Vérifiezquel’interrupteur(2)
estplacésur laposition . Vouspouvezparleretécouter votre
correspondant avec le casque (référence casque Geemarc:
HEADSCL_BLK). A la fin de la conversation, replacez simple-
mentlecombinésurson support.
Note: Vouspouvezutiliserdanscecas l’écouteuretle casqueen
mêmetemps.

NOTE IMPORTANTE:
Le CLA 1 fonctionneavec toutelasériedesCLEARSOUND 50 à
500 etBB100 àBB300. Ilpeutarriver queleCLA 1 nefonctionne
pas avec des téléphones provenant d’autres fournisseurs, nous
negarantissonspaslefonctionnement duCLA 1 dansces condi-
tions.
Note: Sivousavezunsifflementoudescraquementslorsquevous
connectez lecasque,appuyezsimplementsur l’interrupteur(7)
situé en dessous pour annuler le problème.
PROBLEMES DE FONCTIONNEMENT
- Pas de tonalité: vérifiez que tous les cordons soient correcte-
mentconnectés.
-Leniveau deréceptionesttropfaibleoutrop fort:vérifiezlaposi-
tionduswitch CL-B/CL (6) en dessous du CLA 1.
-Craquementsoubruitdanslecasqueoul’écouteur:appuyezsur
l’interrupteur (7) sous le CLA 1.
- Si rien ne fonctionne après les vérifications ci-dessus, vérifiez
votretéléphoneetvotreconnectionauréseautéléphonique.
