TheTSE100systemconsistsoftwounits,the
TSE100SSenderwhichresidesnexttothecomputer
sideandtheTSE100RReceiver,whichresidesnextto
theextendedmonitorandkeyboard.
Themonitorportonyourcomputeristypically
dividedintothreecoloroutputs,Red,Green,Blue
(RGB)andthreeSyncsignals.TheTSE100Sbuffers
the(RGB)signal. ThesesignalsareextendedbyBNC
connectors.
TheADBsignalcontrolsthekeyboard,mouse,
trackballandotherADBdevicessuchasatouch
screen.TheTSE100SbufferstheADBsignalthrough
sendandreceivelinedrivers,andthesignalis
extendedbyusingstandardtelephonecable.
YoucanconnectadditionalTSE100Series tothe
samecomputer,allowingyoutoaccessthecomputer
fromotherlocationsupto 500feetapart.

OPERATINGTHETSE100SYSTEM.
1. WARNING!:TheTSE100weredesignedtooperate on
Macintoshcomputers.Donotattempttousethisequipment
withanyothertypecomputers.
2. The TSE100Sisshippedwithmonitorswitchsettingfor
640X480resolution.Fordetailsonhowtochangethedefault
setting,refertopage11.
3. WARNING!:Whenusingalocalkeyboardnotextended
withtheTSE100Sunit,usetheGefenmodifiedADBcable.
ModifiedcableisconnectedbetweentheTSE100Ssenderand
thelocalkeyboardormouse.
3. WARNING!:WhenplugginginaTSE100Senderunit
ONLY,withouttheTSE100receiverunit,thekeyboardand
mousewillfreeze.TheTSE100Receiverunitmustbe
connected,andpoweredup,andthelinkcableinstalled
betweenbothunits,inordertooperateproperty.
4. WhenusingtheTSE100withtwomonitors,oneextended
andonelocal,bothmonitorsMUSTbethesametype.Ifthe
monitorsaredifferent,theywillnotinitializecorrectly.

Monitor Setting
Monitor size and screen resolution switch setting.
Computer / Video In
DB-15 Male Connector which connects to the computer
monitor port.
Local Monitor In
DB-15 female connector which connects the local monitor.
Terminator Switch
Terminate the video Input if local monitor is not used.

RJ-11 Modular Jack which connects to the TSE100R
(Receiver Unit).
ADB
Mini din sub connector which connects to the computer
ADB port. (For keyboard, Mouse and Trackball).
Power On Light
Power on status indicates that the unit is plugged in.

17 Volt center tapA/C 700ma external power supply.
Video Outputs
RGB video output signal using BNC connectors.
Sync Outputs
Composite, Horizontal, Vertical sync output signal using
BNC connectors.
