During PowerOn orwhilepressing SW1 button; LED(D5) flashfor3timesfollowwitha
shortperiodoflightout(about5seconds) forsystemreinitiatingprocess.Whensystem
regainsitsworking stage,the LED(D5) should flashina 1second interval.
During PowerON orwhilepressing SW2 button;press andhold5secondscontinuously
thenrelease,will berestoredto factorydefault.
Make sureyourCAM77IPNetworkCameraareusingtheprovidedpoweradaptor,using
unauthorizedpoweradaptormayduedamageto theNetworkCamera.

Browse the IPcamera CD.Executethed:\Utility\CAM_EZsearchprogram.The
CAM_EZ searchcanbeusedtomanuallyconfigure theIPcamera'snetworksettings.It
maybenecessarytousethistoolassignanIPaddress foryourIPcameraif yourIPcamera
networksettingneedconfiguration.Thistoolisalsohelpfulforfinding all thecamerason
yournetwork.CAM_EZsearchalsodisplaytheIPcamera'sstatusand linkto Internet
ExplorerWebcontrol.
Note:The CAM_EZ searchmustbe runfromaPConthe localareanetworkwhere the
camerato besetup islocated.
Procedure:
•RunCAM_EZ Searchcamera searchapplication.
•ModifyingCAM77IP'sIPand othersettings,asshowbelow:
*Name:Userdefinedname forCAM77IP.
*IP:IPaddress forCAM77IP;forexample,if computer'sIPis192.168.1.168,
youcould setCAM77IP'sIP192.168.1.*(*=1~254),makesuretheIP
assigneddon'tconflictwithotherdeviceinthenetwork.
*Subnetmask:defaultas255.255.255.0.
*DefaultGateway:SameDefaultGatewayofyourcomputer'snetworksetting.
*HTTPPort:defaultasport80.
•Afterconfiguration,click"Submit"to renewCAM77IPnetworksetting

Oursystemprovided 2levelofadministrativemode:Administratorand Generaluser.
AfterLoginsuccessfully,youshouldbeable toenablenetworksurveillanceand
cameraconfiguration;Followingisthe stepsto it:
1. Toaccess the SystemLogin,doeitheroffollowing:
•Using CAM_EZSearch,doubleclickonyourCAM77IP'sname inthe
update list
•EntertheIPaddress forCAM77IPintheaddress barthenpress
"Enter"

Real-time Surveillance
While runningIPCAMforthe firsttime,"InternetExploreSecuritySettings"haveto be
changeto viewcaptured imageproperly;Orelse,the following warning messagewill
appear.
The "InternetExploreSecuritySettings"onlyrequiredto bedoneonce.
InternetExploreSecuritySettings:
Change thefollowing settingto enablebrowsing ofweb interface,inInternet
Explorerbyclicking "Tool"=>"InternetOptions"=>"Security"=>"CustomLevel" .
1. ScriptActiveXcontrolsmarkedsafe forscripting(Enable)
2. Initialize andscriptActiveXcontrolsnotmarkedassafe (Prompt)
3. Downloadunsigned ActiveXcontrols(Prompt)
4. Download signed ActiveXControls(Enable)
5. RunActiveXcontroland Plug-ins(Enable)
CAUTION: Enabletheoptionfor"DownloadingunsignedActiveXcontrols"maycause
problems onyourcomputer.Itallowshackersoravirustobe installed onyoursystem
withoutnotice.Select"Prompt"optionto"DownloadingUnsigned ActiveXcontrols"is
recommended.
SignedActiveXcontrolsgeneratea setofencryptedsignature tovalidate theauthorand
companyto ensurethe ActiveXcontrolsissafe andtrust-worthytorun.

Thisfunctionenableshotkeyto triggersavingcapturedpicture tocomputer.
Step 1.Enterthe LiveView menu.
Step 2.Placethe mousecursorsovertheLiveviewimage,press andhold the"Ctrl"key.

Click1tosetmotiondetectionarea 1.Usethemousetodrawasquareonthescreen.Click
andhold theleftmousebuttonanddragthesquareacross thearea tobemonitored.
Repeattheproceduretosetarea2.Thisfunctioncanbeenabledin640x480and320x240
displaymode.Whole theimagearea isdetectedwhenin160x120displaymode.
ClickMotionDetectSetto setasensitivitylevelforeacharea,15ismostsensitive,1isleast
sensitive.
