resetbuttonforlongerthan5secondsandthe
InternetCamera will resetitself to the factory

InstallationProcedure
1. UnpacktheInternetCamera packageandverifythatall the items
listed inthe Chapter2areprovided.
2. ConnecttheInternetCamera toyournetworkbyattached the
networkcablefromtheswitch/routerto the UTPportoftheInternet
Camera.
3. Connectthepoweradapterto the InternetCameraandplug the
poweradaptertopoweroutlet.TheInternetCamera will be
poweredon.Whenthe InternetCameraisready,the ReadyLEDwill
light.
4. Makesurethatyouhaveinstalled correctVGAdriverand DirectX9.0
orabove.
Note:Itishighlyrecommendedto usethe poweradaptershippedwith
the InternetCamera,doNOTuseanyotherpoweradapterfromany
sources.

SoftwareInstallation
Followthe simplestepsbelowto runtheInstall Wizardto guideyou
quicklythroughthe Installationprocess.Thefollowinginstallationis
implementedinWindowsXP.TheinstallationproceduresinWindows
2000/Server2003 aresimilar.
1. InserttheCDshippedalongwiththeInternetCamera into your
CD-ROMdrive.The“Autorun.exe”programshould beexecuted
automatically.Ifnot,run“Autorun.exe”manuallyfrom“Autorun”
folderinthe CD.
2. The Install Wizard will showfourselections,selecttheprogramyou
wantto install orclick“Exit”toinstall theprogramlater.The
following installationstepsarethedemonstrationof“Install
AdministratorUtility&Camera Viewer”.

3. The systemwill startthe installationprocedures.Click“Next”to
continue installation.

4. Ifyouwishto install the software programinanalternate location,
click“Change”;otherwiseclick“Next”to move ontothenextstep.

5. Click“Install”to startinstalling the program.

6. The systemwill install the programautomatically.

7. Click“Finish”to complete the softwareinstallation.

8. ”AdministratorUtility“will berunautomaticallyafterinstallation.On
theInternetCamera firstpage,thecamerasfoundinthenetwork
are listed inthe leftwindow.Choose theoneyouwantto configure
andclick“SettingWizard”toproceed.

9. Pleaseenterthedefaultpassword “1234”andclick“OK”tologinto
theIPsetuppage.
10. InternetCamera isworkingthroughthenetwork(TCP/IPProtocol).
The IPaddress and subnetmasksettingmustbecorrect, oryou
cannotaccessto the camera.The wizard programwill detecttheIP
address statusofyournetworkautomaticallyand suggesta free IP
address fortheCamera.Youcanacceptthesuggestedvalue or
enterthe valuemanually.Ifyouenterthevaluemanually,pleasebe
awarethatthe “SubnetMask”mustbethesameforboththecamera
andthePC.Click“Finish”toapplytheconfiguration.

11. Thiswizard will popupa windowto askyouif youwanttorunthe
“Camera Viewer”and seethevideoofthe Cameraimmediately.
Select“OK”to run“Camera Viewer”.
12. The “Camera Viewer”will showthevideoautomatically.
