Introduction
This document is meant as an addendum to Administration, Configuration, and User Guides
from vtech. It is intended to provide instructions for the GENBAND EXPERiUS™ specific
SIP configuration of each terminal device. This document assumes that the default
networking option is used for each device referenced which will auto configure the IP
networking of the device using DHCP. A working DHCP network is assumed, please refer
to the device manufacturer documentation for specific settings for static IP addressing if
required.

GENBAND EXPERiUS™ has been tested to work with several SIP Terminals; this section will detail
how these SIP Terminals should be configured to operate with the features tested.
The next pages describe the configuration for terminals tested with EXPERiUS.

Web Configuration
vtech sets currently being tested are the VSP735, VSP725, and VSP600.
Set firmware version: 1.23.5 and 1.26.0
To find the set IP press Menu, Status, Network.
Default web GUI is http://phone ip address
Username: admin
Password: admin
The Status tab, System Status section will display status information for the terminal.

On the System tab, Account 1, General Account Settings section.
The Display Name is the label you want to display for the line button
Set the User identifier to the username. For Authentication name enter the username again and
Authentication password is the password supplied. Be sure to check Enable Account.
Continuing on the System tab, Account 1, SIP Server, Registration, and Outbound Proxy Sections. For
Server address enter the SIP Domain for your site in both sections. Under Outbound Proxy, Server
address enter the SESM1ServiceAddr.

Defaults are fine in these sections unless you want to make a change.
In the Feature Access Codes section enter your voicemail DN for Voicemail.

In the Voicemail Settings, check Enable MWI subscription and for Mailbox ID enter the username@SIP
Domain.
If you wish to use the Adhoc conference feature, under Network Conference check Enable Network
Conference and for Conference URI enter conference@SIP Domain.

On the Servicing tab in the Time and Date heading you can configure you time settings.

Configuration Files
vtech SIP phones use the following files for configuration. Files should be located on a
“Provisioning” server
By default the phone fetches the following two files:
General file: <model>.cfg and MAC-specific file: <model>_<MAC Address>.cfg.

Provisioning Server and DHCP
Example is using Pumpkin TFTP server:
Under Options, Server tab specify the root directory containing your provisioning files.
Example DHCP Scope Options using Windows Server 2012:
If using TFTP you can configure option 150 for HTTP/HTTPS use option 160 by default.
