Set Up // GT Sky Loft
Step 1
Before mounting on your vehicle, unzip and remove the cover to find where the
Velcro ladder strap is on the platform base. These straps are beneath your
entrances to your Sky Loft. There are two of these ladder straps on the base. Mount
the Sky Loft on your vehicle in the direction that it suits you best.
If mounting length ways across your vehicle, you will require a third roof bar to
support the front section of your platform. If you chose to mount across your
vehicle, a second ladder is needed at the opposite entrance to ensure added
stability to your Sky Loft.
Mount the Sky Loft onto your roof racks using our supplied mounting brackets
ensuring all the bolts are tight and secure before you attempt to inflate the base.
Step 2
Unclick the 3 belt buckles and unfold all sides of your GT Sky Loft.
Step 3
Your inflation point is on the underside of the base. Be sure to turn the valve until it
is protruding out before you begin inflation. If you do not do this, air will escape
when you remove the connector after inflation.
Step 4
Using the supplied pump adaptor connection, attach this to your 12-volt pump. Push
in and twist the connector into the inflation point on the base. Inflate to between 8 –
10 psi. Do not exceed 11 psi.
Step 5
Once the desired pressure is reached, turn your connector to the left to release from
the valve. Close tightly with the attached cap.
Step 6
You are now ready to attach your telescopic ladder underneath the entry of the GT
Sky Loft. Extend the ladder using both hands either side and lifting each step up until
the desired height is reached.
Step 7
Place the extended ladder up underneath the smaller section of the Velcro making
sure the Velcro is tightly wrapped around the top rung of your ladder and fold over
the secondary larger piece of Velcro. If mounting laterally, please repeat this process
for both sides as the Sky Loft requires the support from both ends.

3
Step 8
Your GT Sky Loft has 2 separate inflation tubes. Locate the inflation points on the
outside of the tent (under the Velcro flaps). There are also inflation points inside the
tent. Ensure that the opposing valve on each of the inflation tubes are closed before
inflating your Sky Loft.
Step 9
Change your quick release adapter on your pump to the large round connector that
is supplied.
Step 10
Before connecting, ensure that the blue tab inside the valve is flat and not pushed in
from your last deflation. Once this is completed, push in the adaptor firmly to your
inflation point. Set the pressure on the gauge to 3 psi and inflate. Pressure must be
between 3 – 3.5. Do not exceed 3.8.
Step 11
To remove the fitting, simply twist and pull, making sure to close tightly with the
attached cap.
Step 12
Once you have inflated both sides of your Sky Loft, you will need to attach the 3 inner
support tubes via the Velcro attachments. After the initial instalment of the support
tubes, these can remain in place for future pack downs. Inflate these 3 tubes to the
same pressure.
Step 13
Finally, inflate your nosecone using the same connector as the upper tubes until the
tube is hard.
Step 14
Guy lines are attached for your comfort if you need more stability.
Step 15
For using the supplied storm cover, please attach it to your GT Sky Loft after you
have inflated the mattress/base and before you inflate the rest of the tubes.
You are now ready to enjoy the views and lightweight spirit from our GT Sky Loft.

Pack Down // GT Sky Loft
Step 1
Deflate the nosecone first by inserting your index finger and pushing down the blue
tab on the inside valve. Repeat this with the 3 inner supports.
Step 2
Repeat this process for the two upper tubes. These will naturally deflate and fold
inwards.
Step 3
Once the top tubes have been deflated, climb up the ladder and neatly place all the
material on top of the platform. The neater you do this, the easier folding will be.
Step 4
Remove the ladder and repeat the deflation process for the base. To deflate the
base, push and turn the inflation valve.
Do this for both valves for faster deflation. There is one located on each end of the
platform.
Step 5
Once deflated, fold the two LONGEST sides over into the centre so there is no extra
material bulging over the edges of the metal base and secure with the attached
2 buckles.
Then fold the two SMALLER ends in to the centre and secure with the attached
buckle.
Please keep in mind when folding the platform, to always fold flat and avoid any kinks
or twists in the base.
Step 6
Fold the ladder and place in the centre of the packed tent, or you may place it in
between one of the folded layers.
Step 7
Zip the cover on.

To Be Aware Of //
• The base of your GT Sky Loft must always be inflated to the recommended
pressure as this is what gives your Sky Loft the integrity and strength that it
needs. We do not recommend under inflating your base as this will cause
damage to your Sky Loft tent and possible personal injury.
• Never use the deflation points on your pumps to deflate your GT products as
this may cause damage to the inner tubes.
• Make sure the ladder is pushed firmly into the ground as this will also help
support the base of your GT Sky Loft.
• For extra sleeping comfort, we recommend using our GT mattress.
• When deflating, allow a couple of minutes for the air to naturally escape before
attempting to fold the tent together.
• We also provide an annexe attachment for extra space ⎯This zips around the
base of the nosecone and surrounds the ladder. However, this will not fit inside
the zipped cover so this annexe will need to be removed, folded and packed
separately.
If you have any further questions, please contact one of our team members and we will be
glad to help you.
