Warnings and Safety Precautions
1. The cooktop is suitable for a variety of cookware. It is controlled by a micro computer with
multiple functions, without magnetic radiation when operating and will not disturb other electrical
apparatuses.
2. The cooktop is made from quality materials with state-of-the-art technology ensuring it is safe and
reliable.
3. The user must remember that the earth wire should be longer than the other wires when
connecting with power supply and it must be rstly connected and nally disconnected.
4. Connection of Power Supply: Means for all poles disconnection must be incorporated in the xed
wiring in accordance with the wiring rule, and the distance between poles shall be more than 3
mm.
5. Keep a distance of the surface of the cooktop from an overhead cabinet by 760mm or more.
6. WARNING! The cooktop must be installed by a suitably qualied authorized electrician. Do not
attempt to install the cooktop yourself.
7. WARNING! The cooktop should be correctly installed to avoid thermal radiation and enhance
its reliability.
8. WARNING! The sandwich layer and bonding must be heat resistant to avoid damage.
9. WARNING! Children less than 8 years of age shall be kept away unless continuously
supervised.
10. WARNING! Appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Care should be taken to
avoid touching heating elements.
11. WARNING! Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
12. WARNING! Never try to extinguish a re with water, but switch off the appliance and then cover
ame with a lid or a damp cloth.
13. WARNING! Danger of re: do not store items on the cooking surfaces.
14. Appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-
control system.
15. WARNING! Overheated oil: Do not place fatty or oily food on the electric range. Oil may easily
be overheated to result in re hazard. If the re hazard is caused by oil, don’t extinguish it with
water. Immediately apply a cover on the re to isolate the cooktop area.
16. Heating food inside the cookware: put the food into the saucepan or frying pan to heat. Don’t
directly put food on the surface of range.
17. Removal of electric range from a kitchen: conrmation of disconnection of the power supply from
main body of kitchen must be made prior to removal.
18. Environmental protection: the product with protective package: The electric range is specially
packed to protect during transportation. All packages are contribute the environmental protection.
19. Appropriate cookware: Choose saucepans and frying pans with suitable capacity for the food to
be prepared.
20. It is advisable to use a lid whenever practical to conserve energy.
21. The base size of the pot should be at least the size of the cooking zone.

Warnings and Safety Precautions
Rusting
It is caused by leakage or dissolving of sugar of high-sugar food.
Discoloring
It is caused by wear of the metallic edge of the electric range or utilization
of improper cleaning product such as detergent etc.
Scratch Marking
It is caused by sugar, salt and sand or irregular bottom of at-bottom
cooker.
Discoloring of ornamental color
It is caused by the use of improper cleaning product which wears
ornament.
The below-mentioned different types of damage are caused by improper operation of the product.
They are not technical problems:
22. The diameter of different cooking zones is 12cm-26cm.
23. If the size of the bottom of pot is same as that of the cooking zone, it ensures best heat ransfer.
When purchasing cookware, please remember that the opening diameter marked by the manu-
facture is larger than the size of the bottom.
24. Avoid heating empty enamel cookware.
25. Please read the instruction manual provided by the cookware manufacturer.

Warnings and Safety Precautions
Use specic air break switch for protection of power supply.
The cooktop is intended for home cooking.
Don’t heat sealed food such as cans and tins to avoid the possibility of explosion.
The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not
play with the appliance.
Don’t operate the electric range under high ambient temperature such as close to a gas
stove.
Don’t put any detergent or ammable material on the electric range.
If the appliance becomes broken, cracked or damaged, please immediately switch off
the main unit and contact the Service Agent.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
Don’t directly ush the electric range with water to avoid hazard.
Do not leave food packed with silver foil, tableware, covers or metallic articles on the
electric range. If the cooktop is turned on by mistake, these items may rapidly be heated,
which may result in burning.
Don’t touch the surface after removing the cookware from the cooktop because the
surface will still be very hot.
Generation of heat will be made on the surface of range area and cookware when the
electric range is working. Do not touch the surface of range to avoid of hazard of burning.
Keep the children away from the appliance.Ensure that electrical cables do not come in
contact with the cooktop surface.

Installation Instructions
For GIH-DD38B (5,600W) only
• Each hob has an independent power cord. When the cord of the induction hob is connected, only the
induction hob will be in operation. The max power is 2,800W. When the cord of the ceramic hob is
connected, only the ceramic hob will be in operation. The Max power is 2,800W.
• The two hobs can be used simultaneously when both are connected to their own 13A power sockets. The total
max power is 5,600W.
• Please check whether your household’s power socket and wiring are compatible.
• The two hobs do not have power share function, and all other functions are the same as GIH-DD38B
(2,800W).
For GIH-DD38B (2,800W) only
• When power of the ceramic hob is adjusted more than to 1,600W, the induction hob has no power
output.
• When power of the induction hob is adjusted more than to 1,600W, the ceramic hob has no power output.
Use foam tape to x the cooktop on
the counter so as to keep it level and

Note:
• Leave at least 250mm height of empty space under the counter for ventilation purposes.
• Please ensure the kitchen cabinet under the cooktop is well ventilated so heat will not be trapped
inside which may damage the cooktop.
The countertop cutout for the cooktop can be made according to the dimensions provided in the
diagram. Please ensure that the cooktop is installed at least 55mm away from the wall. The countertop
must be at least 30mm thick and made of heat-resistant material to avoid deformation due to high
heat from the cooktop.

Control Buttons
Button Description
Lock Button
• Press to activate Lock Function. Thereafter, all panel controls will
cease to respond.
• Long-press for 3 seconds to inactivate Lock Function.
On/Off Button
• Press to turn on the cooktop. (Product enters standby status,
display shows “- - - -”).
• Press again to turn off the cooktop.
Start/Pause Button
• Press to start or pause cooking.
Timer Button
• Press to enter into Timer setting. (Product will automatically turn
off when timer is reached).
• Countdown Timer can be set for 0-180 min.
Up/Down Button
During cooking process:
• Press to decrease power instantly to zero.
• Press to increase power instantly to maximum. (Induction hob:
2800W; Ceramic hob: Inner Ring 1200W / Dual Rings 2800W).
Slide Bar
• During cooking process, slide nger along bar to adjust power.
• During Timer setting, slide along bar to adjust time:
Each decrement is 1 min, each increment is 5 min.
Heat Zone Button (Ceramic hob only)
• Press to select heating with Inner Ring only or Dual Rings.
• Inner Ring only: Indicator does not light up; Dual Rings: Indicator
lights up.
How To Use
• Plug in to the power source, Indicator lights up. The product enters into a locked status by
default, all panel controls will cease to respond.
• Long-press 3 seconds to unlock, then press , Display Panel shows “- - - -”, product enters
standby status. If no action is taken, product automatically returns to locked status in 30 seconds.

Operation Instructions
Start Cooking
1. In standby status, press to start cooking.
2. During cooking process, adjust power by sliding nger along slide bar, or by pressing .
3. If user wishes to set timer, press then slide nger along slide bar to select countdown time
(0-180 min). After timer is set, Display Panel will ash chosen time for 5 seconds, and countdown
will begin.
4. During cooking process, press to pause cooking. Press again to unpause and resume
cooking.
5. During cooking process, if user wishes to lock the selected function, press . To unlock, long-
press again for 3 seconds.
6. After cooking is completed, press to turn off the hob. The product will automatically return to
locked status.
WARNING!
• The ceramic hob will be very hot even after it has been turned
off. Display will shows the word “Hot”. DO NOT TOUCH hob area
until the product has completely cooled down.
• When product is in use, DO NOT leave product unattended.
• At all times, DO NOT use your bare hands to test the
temperature of the cooktop.
• When product is in use, DO NOT allow children near product to
avoid danger!
• UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should food be cooked directly
on the cooktop surface. This product should be used with
appropriate cookware at all times!
• DO NOT place any ammable items on top or around the
vicinity of the product, such as paper, lm, plastic, cloth,
curtain etc. to avoid re hazard!
Note:
For ceramic hob (right hob): By default, the hob heats with the Inner Ring only (400-1200W). If user
wishes to select Dual Rings (400-2800W), press .

Phenomenon Possible Cause Solution

警告及注意事項
1. 電磁電陶爐適合多種鍋具使用。使用時由多功能的微電腦控制,沒有磁輻射,因此
不會影響其他電子設備的使用。
2. 電磁電陶爐由具備最新技術的優質物料組成,安全可靠。
3. 使用者須謹記地線必須長於其他線路。且當連接/斷開電源時,地線須首先通電或最
後斷電。
4. 連接電源:全極斷開方式必須按照佈線規則併入在固定佈線中,兩級之間的距離必
須多於3毫米。
5. 電磁電陶爐的爐面須與頂櫃保持760毫米或以上的距離。
6. 警告!電磁電陶爐的安裝必須由專業的安裝技工完成,請勿嘗試獨自安裝電磁電
陶爐。
7. 警告!電磁電陶爐須正確安裝以提高耐用性,以免產生熱輻射。
8. 警告!芯層和黏結處須保證耐熱以免造成傷害。
9. 警告!除非有成人監管,8歲以下孩童應遠離該煮食爐。
10. 警告!煮食爐及其可接觸的部件在使用時會發熱,請避免直接接觸發熱部件。

16.把食物放入鍋具內加熱:請將食物放置在燉鍋或平底鍋內加熱。禁止將食物直接放
在電磁電陶爐的爐面上加熱。
17.將電磁電陶爐移出廚房:移除時請首確認電源線已拔掉。
18.環境保護措施:外包裝是為了在運輸過程中保護電磁電陶爐免受損。所有的包裝都
是可回收的環保材料。
19.電陶爐的炊具:選擇合適容量的燉鍋及平底鍋處理食物。
20.若要達到節能效果,建議使用蓋子。
21.炊具的底面積至少與加熱區域同樣大小。
22.煮食區域的直徑為12cm-26cm不等。
23.如果炊具的底面積和加熱面積一樣時,能夠達到最佳熱傳遞效果。所選購炊具的口
徑應比底部的直徑大。
24.禁止空燒搪瓷炊具。
25.請仔細閱讀炊具廠家提供的說明書。

該煮食爐專為家庭使用,不作其他用途。
不要加熱密封包裝的食物,如罐頭等,以免發生爆炸。
該電器不適用於身體上、感官上或精神上缺失能力的人群,或是缺失經驗和
知識的人群,除非他們在正確的監督與指導下使用該設備。指導者需保障使
用者的安全。孩童不應玩耍該設備。
不要在附近溫度很高的情況下(如在氣體爐旁)啟動煮食爐。
不要在該煮食爐表面上放置任何的清潔劑及易燃物品。
如果該煮食爐破損或者毀壞,請及時關閉電源並通知客服專員處理。

排風口
只適用於GIH-DD38B (5,600W)
• 每個爐頭擁有獨立電源線插頭。當單獨插上電磁爐的電源插座時,只有電磁爐可以
通電操作,最大功率為2,800W。當單獨插上電陶爐的電源插座時,只有電陶爐可以
通電操作,最大功率為2,800W。
• 當電磁爐和電陶爐的電源線同時插上兩個獨立13A電源插座時,兩邊均可同時通電操
作,總功率為5,600W。
• 以最大功率烹飪時,請先檢查電源線是否可承受此負荷。
• 此產品沒有功率分享功能,其他功能則和GIH-DD38B(2,800W)相同。
只適用於GIH-DD38B (2,800W)
• 當右邊電陶爐調整至高於1,600W時,電磁爐無功率輸出。
• 當左邊電磁爐調整至高於1,600W時,電陶爐無功率輸出。
注意
• 安裝時注意機身底部以下必須預留不少於250mm高的空間排風。
• 機身底部進出風口不能設在封閉的空間裡,必須保持與不同空間的空氣鏈接,並盡
量與房間裡的空氣保持一定程度的連接。
可使用海綿條固定在桌面上,以使爐

按鍵 功能
鎖定鍵
• 按 鎖定電磁電陶爐,所有按鍵均無法操作。
• 長按 3秒解除鎖定。
電源開關鍵
• 按 開機(進入待機狀態,顯示屏顯示「- - - -」)。
• 再按 關機。
開始/暫停鍵
• 按 開始或暫停烹調。
定時鍵
• 按 進入定時關機設置。
• 可設定0-180分鐘定時。
加/減鍵
烹飪期間,按 快速調校功率:
• 按 鍵即時將功率降至0。
• 按 鍵即時將功率增至最大(電磁爐為2800W;電陶爐內
環為1200W,雙環為2800W)。
滑動欄
• 烹飪期間,滑動以調校功率。
• 設置定時關機期間,滑動以調校時間:
向左滑動減少1分鐘,向右滑動增加5分鐘。
區域轉換鍵(只限電陶爐)
• 按 轉換電陶爐的加熱區域(內環或雙環)。
• 使用內環時,指示燈不亮;使用雙環時,指示燈常亮。

使用說明
使用步驟
• 插上電源後,電磁電陶爐預設為鎖定狀態, 指示燈常亮,此時所有按鍵均無法
操作,包括 開關按鍵。
• 長按 3秒解除鎖定再按,電磁電陶爐進入待機狀態,顯示屏顯示「----」。
如30秒內無任何操作,產品將自動鎖定。
開始烹調
1. 在待機狀態下,按 開始烹調。
2. 烹調期間,可按 或透過滑動欄調校功率。
3. 如需設置定時關機功能,按 ,然後透過滑動欄選擇關機時間(0-180分鐘),設
置完成後,顯示屏閃爍5秒,然後開始倒數。
4. 烹調期間,可按 暫停烹調;再按 一次繼續烹調。
5. 烹調期間,如需鎖定電磁電陶爐,可按 ;如需解鎖,長按 3秒。
6. 完成烹調後,按 關閉電磁電陶爐,產品會自動進入鎖定狀態。
警告!
• 電陶爐關閉後,仍然處於高溫狀態。顯示屏會顯示「Hot」字樣;嚴
禁觸碰爐面直至產品完全冷卻。
• 嚴禁在無人看管情況下使用本產品。
• 任何時候嚴禁用手測試爐面溫度。
• 使用本產品時,嚴禁小孩走近,免生危險!
• 任何情況下切勿在爐面直接加熱食物,必須配合鍋具進行烹調!
• 切勿在爐面或爐邊四周擺放任何易燃物,如紙張、薄膜、塑膠、洗
碗布、窗簾布等,以免發生火災!
注意:
如使用電陶爐(右邊爐頭),預設為內環加熱(400W-1200W),可按 轉換為雙
環加熱(400W-2800W)。
