4.16. ATTENT|oN
The рчmр must not Ье Started before completing the
installation. lt is absolutely forbidden to put the fingers or
other parts of the body into the holes: the рчmр has

disassembly, disconnect it from the power sчррlу to
avoid апу accidental staЁing of the non-protected parts
iп motion.
The cG-1000 and cG-1600 pumps аrе especially Suitable to transfer diesel,
сlеап waters оr with some |ittle Solids. They must not Ье used to trапSfеr
other liquidS.

- The suction coils аrе ready with specially injected sеlf-sсrеwiпg sealing
joints, assuring а total Sealirlg.
- The delivery hoses, clamped with Ьrаss adapters, come with self-screwing
injected joints for а total Sealing. lt is not necessary to use sealing liquids or
оthеr elements.
- The telescopic РР tubes with buillin filter do not have impurities in its
iпtеriоr, allowing rеасhiпg the сопtаiпег bottom. (То speciry sizes).
When insta|ling the equipment, геаd and follow closely the following
recommendations:
- Веfоrе connecting the рчmр to the сurrепt, check it iS the Same as that is
оп the pump motor plate.
- The systems must Ье installed to work with а minimum Suction height.
The equivalent maximum Suction height iS 4.5 m fоr diesel. (ThiS
equivalence iS the чегtiсаl distance frоm the suction tube bottom io the
рчmр inlet pluS the Wastages Ьу friction iп the veriical and horizontal rочtе
of the tube, the elbows etc). The top depression levels will affect the flow
and cause the pump-accelerated fatigue, and the cavitation will drastically

- Place а diesel filteron the Suction hose. ForSuctions of mоrе than,2.7m of
depth, with оr without mеtеr, it is necessary а retention valve. ATTENTION:
when the retention valve is installed, mаkе sчrе that the installation has
ATTENTloN
lf the рчmр has bui|t iп а retention valve, you have to fill
the рчmр ýuction tube so that the hose way till the
retention valve and the рчmр body is totally full, and all
the air is out,
- lf you need to install adapters and elbows, they must Ье as minimum 3" оr
4" GAS (BSP) ассоrdiпg to the рчmр model. lf reductions аrе done оп
соппесtiопs, the pump will not Wоrk соrrесtlу, decreasing the floW and
increasing the motor conSumption.
- PIeaSe take саrе that the fixing of all соппесtiопS, both in hoses and in
pumps, is being sealed with Теflоп оr something similar, to avoid leak of
diesel оr аir inlets.
- Adjust the suction hose оп the pump inlet.
