Announcement
This operation manual is only written for theVPC3000 series vehicle PC hardware
product with supporting Windows based operating system use. The appropriate models
for this operation manual are in the following list.
VPC3000 Series Product
Limited Warranty
This product is warranted against manufacturing defects for the period of 13 months.
The warranty period commences on the date of purchase from the authorized
reseller/retailer. Your original purchase invoice, showing the date of purchase of the
product is your proof of the date of purchase.
During the warranty period, defective parts will be repaired or replaced. There will be
no charge for labor or parts during the warranty period from the date of purchase. Any
shipping or other cost such as customs incurred costs, etc… which is at customers'
responsibility.
This warranty does not cover any failure resulting in loss to software, data, lost profits,
lost savings, any incidental damages or other economic consequential damages due to
accident, abuse, misuse, negligence and acts of God.

The VPC3000 series Vehicle PC is the ideal application ready PC platform system for all
vehicle solution. This brings you with huge convenience and great mobile connectivity for
most the common vehicle on today’s road. All electronics inside the VPC3000 are
protected in a robust, compact sealed housing for embedding into a larger housing or as
a stand-alone application where space is critical. It is designed to withstand harsh
environments, sustaining extreme shock and vibration conditions for all vehicle
standards.

problems encountered with your system may be caused by loose or improper

Chapter 3 Software
3.1 Introduction
Media Monsuta multimedia software is a specially designed Graphic User’s Interface
(GUI) software for VPC series (Vehicle PC) products. It is the perfect solution for in car
multimedia entertainment system and provides you the fast, convenience access to your
everyday use programs. Media Monsuta provides to you the user’s friendly access
menu interface as well as supporting Multilanguage format (English, Traditional Chinese,
Japanese and Simplify Chinese). .

3.1.1 General Features
The Media Monsuta multimedia software includes 9 major quick access programs.
ziTunes
iTunes has been widely used by all iPod users and also very familiar with how it
works. iTunes software does not come as preloaded software in Media Monsuta,
but it is allowing you to install iTunes software in your VPC series (Vehicle PC) unit
and provide a quick wake up link.
zMusic
Enjoying hours and hours of lovely music while driving? Media Monsuta has got
its own music player with few simple control access buttons. It’s easy and
everyone can use it and also allows you to play music files from your local hard
disk drive or any other external devices.
zNavigation
Navigation system gives you a direction guide when you are in the middle of no
where. Media Monsuta does not come with preloaded navigation software;
however you can install any PC version navigation software at your convenience
with linkage to an external GPS device which keeps you a peace of mind while
traveling.
zMovie
Need something else apart from listening from radio and music while traveling?
Media Monsuta can provide you with a full entertainment solution while traveling on
the road for all other passengers. You will be able to enjoy videos or movies from
your local hard disk drive or any other external devices.

zTV
Missing out live sport action or real time news announcement? Just simply
purchase a USB digital TV receiver device, install the driver software into your
VPC series (Vehicle PC) unit and you will be able to enjoy from live TV from your
Media Monsuta multimedia GUI menu.
zInternet Explorer
Media Monsuta multimedia software comes with a mini version of the internet
explorer and let you to enjoy the fun of the internet surfing. Make sure the
internet connection is ready from your VPC series (Vehicle PC) unit.
zWindows Operating System
Wanting to use a standard Windows operating environment with the enjoyment to
other features? Media Monsuta multimedia software provides you with an easy
access for seamless switching in between GUI software and Windows operating
environment.
zPhoto
Wishing to share big day out pictures or family photos with other passengers with
in Car? Media Monsuta multimedia software gives the ability to display photos or
pictures from your local hard disk drive or any other external sources (e.g. CD,
USB thumb drive, or SD/MMC card).
zSkype
Keeping in touch with people you loved and care. Media Monsuta multimedia
software does not come with preloaded Skype software for online chatting and
voice call. However, you can just simply download Skype from internet and you
can start to enjoy the benefit of using Skype on the road.

zDual Display Control
Media Monsuta is able to provide dual display for front and back seat passengers.
VPC3000 series model do not support this feature currently.
zAccessibility Control
Media Monsuta gives you the freedom to manage accessibility of listed features
from main menu. You can disable or enable features from the settings
configuration section.
