PreparingYourComputer
Themotherboardcontainsnumerousdelicateelectroniccircuitsandcomponentswhichcan
becomedamaged asaresultofelectrostaticdischarge (ESD).Thus,priortoinstallation,please
followthe instructionsbelow:
1.Pleaseturnoffthe computerand unplugitspowercord.
2.Whenhandling themotherboard,avoidtouchinganymetalleadsorconnectors.
3. Itisbesttowearan electrostaticdischarge (ESD)cuff whenhandling electroniccomponents
(CPU,RAM).
4.Priortoinstallingthe electroniccomponents,pleasehavetheseitemsontop ofan antistaticpad or
withinaelectrostaticshieldingcontainer.
5.Pleaseverifythatyou thepowersupplyisswitchedoff beforeunplugging thepowersupplyconnector
fromthemotherboard.

Beforeinstallingthe CPU,pleasecomplywiththe following conditions:
1.Pleasemakesurethatthemotherboardsupportsthe CPU.
2.Pleasetakenoteofthe one indented cornerofthe CPU.Ifyou install theCPUinthe wrong
direction,theCPUwillnotinsertproperly.Ifthisoccurs,pleasechange theinsertdirection
ofthe CPU.
3.Pleaseaddan even layerofheatsinkpastebetweenthe CPUand heatsink.
4.Pleasemakesuretheheatsinkisinstalled on theCPUpriortosystemuse,otherwise
overheatingandpermanentdamageoftheCPUmayoccur.
5.PleasesettheCPUhostfrequencyinaccordancewiththeprocessorspecifications.Itisnot
recommendedthatthesystembusfrequencybesetbeyondhardwarespecificationssinceit
doesnotmeettherequired standardsforthe peripherals.Ifyouwishtosetthe frequency
beyondthe properspecifications,pleasedo soaccording toyourhardwarespecifications
includingtheCPU,graphicscard,memory,harddrive,etc.

The heatsinkmayadheretothe CPUasaresultofhardening ofthe heatsinkpaste.Toprevent
suchan occurrence,itissuggestedthateitherthermaltape ratherthanheatsinkpastebe usedfor
heatdissipation orusing extremecarewhenremoving theheatsink.

1.Pleasemakesurethatthe memoryused issupported bythe motherboard.It isrecommended that
memoryofsimilarcapacity,specificationsand brand be used.
2.Beforeinstalling orremoving memorymodules,pleasemakesurethatthe computerpowerisswitched
off topreventhardwaredamage.
3.Memorymoduleshaveafoolproofinsertion design.Amemorymodulecan be installed inonlyone
direction.If you areunabletoinsertthe module,pleaseswitchthe direction.

whenonlyoneDDRIImemorymoduleisinstalled.
2.TwoDDR IImemorymodulesareinstalled(the samememorysizeandtype):TheDual
ChannelTechnologywilloperatewhentwomemorymodulesareinserted individuallyinto
ChannelAand B.Ifyouinstall twomemorymodulesinthe samechannel,theDualChannel
Technologywill notoperate.
3.FourDDR IImemorymodulesareinstalled:Ifyou installfourmemorymodulesatthesame
time,the DualChannelTechnologywill operateonlywhenthosemoduleshavethesame
memorysizeandtype.
We'llstronglyrecommendourusertoslottwoDDRIImemorymodulesintotheDIMMswiththe samecolor
inorderforDualChannelTechnologytowork.

You can install yourexpansion cardbyfollowingthe stepsoutlined below:
1.Read therelated expansioncard'sinstructiondocumentbeforeinstall theexpansion cardintothe
computer.
2.Removeyourcomputer'schassiscover,screwsandslotbracketfromthecomputer.
3.Pressthe expansioncardfirmlyintoexpansionslotinmotherboard.
4.Besurethe metalcontactson thecardareindeedseated inthe slot.
5.Replacethescrewtosecuretheslotbracketoftheexpansion card.
6.Replaceyourcomputer'schassiscover.
7.Poweronthe computer,ifnecessary,setup BIOSutilityofexpansion cardfromBIOS.
8. Installrelated driverfromthe operating system.

themotherboardand connecttightly.
TheATX_12Vpowerconnectormainlysuppliespowertothe CPU.IftheATX_12Vpower
connectorisnotconnected,the systemwillnotstart.
Caution!
Pleaseuseapowersupplythatisabletohandlethe systemvoltage requirements.Itis
recommended thatapowersupplythatcanwithstand high powerconsumptionbe used(300Wor
greater).Ifapowersupplyisused thatdoesnotprovidethe requiredpower,theresultcanlead toan
unstablesystemorasystemthatisunabletostart.
