protectthemagainstdamage fromstaticelectricity,you shouldfollowsomeprecautionswhenever
you workon yourcomputer.
1.Unplugyourcomputerwhenworkingon theinside.
2.Useagroundedwriststrapbeforehandling computercomponents.Ifyoudo nothave
one,touchbothofyourhandstoasafelygrounded objectortoametalobject, suchas
thepowersupplycase.
3.Holdcomponentsbytheedgesand trynottouchthe ICchips,leadsorconnectors,or
othercomponents.
4.Placecomponentson agroundedantistaticpad oronthebagthatcamewiththe
componentswheneverthe componentsareseparatedfromthesystem.
5.EnsurethattheATXpowersupplyisswitchedoffbeforeyou pluginorremovetheATX
powerconnectoron the motherboard.
If the motherboardhasmounting holes,buttheydon’tline up withthe holeson the baseand
thereareno slotstoattachthe spacers,do notbecomealarmed you can still attachthe spacersto
the mounting holes.Justcutthe bottomportion ofthe spacers(the spacermaybe alittlehardto
cutoff, sobe carefulofyourhands).Inthiswayyou can still attachthe motherboardtothe base
withoutworrying aboutshortcircuits.Sometimesyou mayneed tousethe plasticspringstoisolate
the screwfromthe motherboardPCBsurface,becausethe circuitwiremaybe nearbythe hole.Be
careful,don’tletthe screwcontactanyprinted circuitwriteorpartson the PCBthatarenearthe
fixing hole,otherwiseitmaydamage the boardorcauseboardmalfunctioning.

2.MakesuretheCPUfan isplugged

MWerecommend you toapplythethermalpastetoprovidebetterheat
conduction betweentheCPUand heatsink.
MMake suretheCPUfanpowercableispluggedintotheCPUfanconnector,

Step2:Install memorymodules
The motherboardhas3dualinline memorymodule(DIMM)sockets,butitcan onlysupporta
maximumof4banks DDR memory.DDR socket1uses2banks,DDR socket2&3sharethe
remaining 2banks.Pleaserefertothe following tablesforpossiblememoryconfigurationssupported.
The BIOSwill automaticallydetectsmemorytype and size.Toinstall the memorymodule,justpush
itverticallyintothe DIMM Slot.The DIMM modulecan onlyfitinone direction due tothe notch.

existing SDRAMdesignsdue toitsavailability,pricing and overall marketsupport. PC2100 DDR
memory(DDR266)doublesthe dataratethrough reading andwriting atboththe rising andfalling edge of
the clock,achieving databandwidth2XgreaterthanPC133 when running withthe sameDRAMclock
frequency.Withpeakbandwidthof2.1GBpersecond,DDR memoryenablessystemOEMstobuild

DIMM slots.Then pushitdown.
3.Closethe plasticclipatbothedgesoftheDIMM slots
tolock the DIMM module.

Step3:Install expansion cards
1.Read the related expansion card’sinstruction documentbeforeinstall the expansion cardinto
the computer.
2.Removeyourserver’schassiscover,necessaryscrewsand slotbracketfromthe computer.
3.Press the expansion cardfirmlyintoexpansion slotinmotherboard.
4.Besurethe metalcontactson the cardareindeed seated inthe slot.
5.Replacethe screwtosecurethe slotbracketofthe expansion card.
6.Replaceyourcomputer’schassiscover.
7.Poweron the computer,ifnecessary,setup BIOSutilityofexpansion cardfromBIOS.
8. Install related driverfromthe operating system.

Pleasecarefullypull outthe small white-
drawablebaratthe endofthe AGPslotwhen
you trytoinstall/Uninstall the AGPcard.
Pleasealign the AGPcardtothe onboard
AGPslotand press firmlydowntothe slot.
MakesureyourAGPcardislocked bythe
small white-drawablebar.
