motherboardPCBsurface,becausethe circuitwiremaybe nearbythe hole.Becareful,don'tletthe

1.PleaseuseIntelapprovedcoolingfan.
2.Werecommend youtoapplythethermaltapetoprovidebetterheatconduction
betweenyourCPUand coolingfan.
(TheCPUcooling fanmightstick totheCPUduetothehardening ofthe
thermalpaste.During thiscondition ifyou trytoremovethecooling fan,you
mightpulltheprocessoroutoftheCPUsocketalonewiththecooling fan,and
mightdamagetheprocessor.Toavoidthisfromhappening,wesuggestyouto
eitheruse thermaltapeinsteadofthermalpaste,orremove thecooling fanwith
extremecaution.)

The motherboardhas4dualinline memorymodule(DIMM)sockets.The BIOSwill automatically
detectsmemorytype and size.Toinstall the memorymodule,justpushitverticallyintothe DIMM
socket. The DIMM modulecan onlyfitinone direction due tothe notch.Memorysizecan vary
between sockets.
Step2:Install memorymodules

Beforeinstalling theprocessorandheatsink,adheretothefollowing warning:
When LED1isON,do notinstall/removeDIMM fromsocket.
Pleasenotethatthe DIMM modulecan onlyfitinone direction due tothe one notches.
Wrong orientation will causeimproperinstallation.Pleasechange the insertorientation.

ChannelTechnologywill operatewhen twomemorymodulesareinserted individuallyinto
ChannelAand B.If you install twomemorymodulesinthe samechannel,the DualChannel
Technologywill notoperate.Additionally,you can bootthe systemonlywhen one ofthe
memorymodulesisinserted intoChannelAorChannelB.Onthe otherhand,the memory
modulemustbe inserted intoanysockets.
3.FourDDR memorymodulesareinstalled:Ifyou install fourmemorymodulesatthe same
time,the DualChannelTechnologywill operateonlywhen thosemoduleshavethe same
memorysizeand type.
We'll stronglyrecommend ourusertoslotintotwoDDR memorymodulesintothe DIMMswiththe
samecolorinorderforDualChannelTechnologytowork.

1.The DIMM slothasanotch,sothe DIMM memory
modulecan onlyfitinone direction.
2. Insertthe DIMM memorymoduleverticallyinto
the DIMM slot. Then pushitdown.
3.Closethe plasticclipatbothedgesofthe DIMM
slotstolock the DIMM module.
Reversethe installation stepswhen you wish
toremovethe DIMM module.
Established on the existing SDRAMinfrastructure,DDR (DoubleDataRate)memoryisahigh
performanceand cost-effectivesolution thatallowseasy adoption formemoryvendors,OEMs,
and systemintegrators.
DDR memoryisagreatevolutionarysolution forthe PCindustrythatbuildson the existing
SDRAMarchitecture,yetmakethe awesomeadvancesinsolving the systemperformance
bottleneck bydoubling the memorybandwidth.Nowadays,withthe highestbandwidthof3.2GB/
sofDDR400 memoryand completeline ofDDR400/333/266/200 memorysolutions,DDR memory
isthe bestchoiceforbuilding high performanceand lowlatency DRAMsubsystemthatare
suitableforservers,workstations,and full range ofdesktop PCs.

Step3:Install expansion cards
1.Read therelated expansion card'sinstruction documentbeforeinstall the expansion cardinto
the computer.
2.Removeyourcomputer'schassiscover,necessaryscrewsandslotbracketfromthe computer.
3.Press the expansion cardfirmlyintoexpansion slotinmotherboard.
4.Besurethe metalcontactson the cardareindeed seated inthe slot.
5.Replacethescrewtosecurethe slotbracketofthe expansion card.
6.Replaceyourcomputer'schassiscover.
7.Poweron the computer,ifnecessary,setup BIOSutilityofexpansion cardfromBIOS.
8. Install related driverfromthe operating system.

graphics cardisinserted.Informing usersthatsystemmightnotbootup normallydue toAGP2x
