EXTRA FUNCTION W/THIRD PARTY MATERIALS
Install Magnetic switch on the protecting door
The door status terminals on HC-500 monitor have no polarity
The magnetic switch and wires are not included in the package
Wire a power line loop for the electric lock
The lock release terminals on HC-500 monitor provide dry contact relay bridge
The dry contact relay on monitor can sustain maximum of 24VDC/1A power current
The lock release terminals have no polarity
The electric lock, power for the lock, and wires are not included in the package
øCAUTION : Over loaded power current of the lock can cause damage to the machine

TEST AFTER INSTALLATION
1. Plug the adaptor power
2. Test the monitor by the following steps
a. Press the call button from door camera
b. Check and adjust bell volume
c. Check and adjust picture quality
d. Check and adjust speakerphone volume
3. Test the door camera by the following steps
a. Press the call button from door camera
b. Press-on the monitor’s speak-out button to talk
c. Press the monitor’s speakerphone button once
for hands-free speaking
d. Adjust the door camera’s speakerphone volume
from the back of door camera ( under a rubber
cover )
4. Read the instruction panel on monitor ( under a plastic
cover )
If magnetic switch is installed

Press the lock release can cause a
power line loop to strike the lock

OPERATION
Visitor calls from door camera
1.One way audio & video monitoring the visitor (if no
ans
wer from indoor monitor, automatic cut off in 30
seconds)
2.Press-on the speak-
out button can speak out to the
visitor
3.Press lock release button can open the door (if
electric lock is installed)
4.Door status light off when door opened (if magnetic
switch is installed)
5.Automatic disconnect in 90 seconds.
