2Install software
1. InserttheInstallationCDintoyourcomputer’sCD-ROM
drive.
If the autorun screen does not appear automatically:
OpenMy Computer.Doubleclickonthedrivethathas
theinstallationCDtolaunchsoftware.
OR
OpentheCD-ROMdrive’sfolder,thenclickAutorun.exe.
nNote: A User Account Control message may appear
during installation for Windows Vista and Windows 7 users,
asking you to cancel or allow program authorization of the
software. Select the option to Allow for Windows Vista or Yes
to confirm for Windows 7, then continue to follow instructions.
2. ReadtheLicenseAgreementandclickthecheckboxto
accepttheterms,thenclickNext.

3. SelectInstall both driver and WLAN utilityorInstall
driver onlyandclickNext.
IfyouselectInstall both,gotostep4.
IfyouselectInstall driver only,skiptostep5.MicrosoftZero
Congurationwillbeusedtomanagewirelessnetworks.
4. SelectRalink Configuration ToolorMicrosoft Zero
Configuration Tooltocongureyourwirelessnetworks,
thenclickNext.

and is installed on computers with Windows XP or later.

3Connect adapter
1. Screwantennaontotheadapter.
2. RemovetheUSBconnectorcapfromtheadapterand
connectittoaUSBportonyourcomputer.
nNote: If you plug the USB adapter in before installing
the software, click Cancel on the Found New Hardware
Wizard when it comes up and install from the CD (see
page 3).
3.Adjustantennaangle.

4Connect to network
Wireless LAN Utility:
Bydefault,theWLANUtilitystartsautomaticallywhen
youstartyourcomputerandconnectstotherstavailable
network.
To change to another network connection:
1. Rightclicktheicononthesystemtrayandselect
Launch Config Utility.TheWLANcongurationutility
screenappears.
2. IntheNetworktab,clickonthetargetnetwork.
3. ClickConnect.
4. Choosethesecuritytypeofyournetworkandtypeinyour
securitykey.
5. ClickOK.

Microsoft Zero Configuration:
1. Rightclickontheicononyoursystemtrayandselect
Use Zero Configuration as Configuration Utility.
2. Doubleclickon inyoursystemtray.
3. Alistofavailablewirelessnetworksappears.Selectthe
targetnetworkandclickConnect.
4. TheWirelessNetworkConnectiondialogboxappears.
Enterthesecuritykey,thenclickConnect.

IgnitionL.P.warrantsthisproductagainstdefectsinmaterialsand
workmanshipundernormalusebytheoriginalpurchaserforninety
(90) daysafterthedateofpurchase.IGNITIONL.P.MAKESNO
OTHEREXPRESSWARRANTIES.
Thiswarrantydoesnotcover:(a)damageorfailurecausedbyorattribut-
abletoabuse,misuse,failuretofollowinstructions,improperinstallation
ormaintenance,alteration,accident,ActsofGod(suchasoodsor
lightning),orexcessvoltageorcurrent;(b)improperorincorrectly
performedrepairsbypersonswhoarenotaIgnitionL.P.Authorized
