Prepare Backup Battery
Pulltheplastictaboutofthebatterycompartmentatthe
bottomofyourclockradiobeforeusing.Thisbatterywill
providebackuppowertoretainclocksettingsintheeventofa
powerinterruption.
Connect to AC power
ConnectthesuppliedACadaptertotheDC 5V/2A jackandplug
intoastandardhouseholdoutlet.Aftertwoseconds,theclock
radioentersstandbymodeandtimeappearsonthedisplay.
2Prepare the Remote Control
Theremotecontrolcomeswithabatteryalreadyinstalled.Pull
theplastictaboutofthebatterycompartmentbeforeusing.
Seepage 8toreplacethebatteryiftheremotestopsworking.

Clock Radio Settings
Set the Clock Time
1. Press buttononyourclockradiotoenterthetime
settingmode.Thehourdigitsash.
2. Press+or–tosetthehour.
3. Repeatsteps1and2tosettheminutes.
4. Press againtoconrm.
nNote: Theclockusesa12hourformatwithAM and PM indicators.
Set the Alarm
1. Press toturnon/offthealarm.
2. PressALARM MODE ontheremoterepeatedlytoselect
awake-upmode:Buzz,iPodorFM.
3. Press ontheclockradiotoenteralarmsettingmode.
Thealarmicon andhourdigitsash.
4. Press+ or – tosetthehour.
5. Repeatstep3and4tosettheminutes.Press toconrm.
Whenthealarmsounds,pressG/For ontheclockradioor
G ontheremotecontroltostopthealarmfor24hours,andthe
clockradiogoesbacktothemodebeforethealarmactivated.
nNotes:
• Whenyousetthewake-upmodetoFMradio,thestationyoulast
listened to will switch on.
• TowakeuptoiPod,youriPodmustbeproperlydockedandturned
off.IfyouriPodisnotdocked,thealarmdefaultstothebuzzalarm.
• Ifthealarmisset,itturnsonatadefaultvolumelevel4and
increasesto30within1minute.Itstopsafter20minuteswithout
anyoperation.

Snooze
Whenthealarmsounds,pressZZZorSNOOZE/NAP onthe
remotetostopthealarmfor10minutes. ashesinsnooze
mode.Theclockradiogoesbacktothemodebeforethealarm
activated.Thealarmsoundsagainafter10minutes.
Nap
Instandbymode:
1. PressZZZonthemainunitor SNOOZE/NAPonthe
remotetoselectanapperiodof15,30,45,or60minutes,
orselectOFFtodeactivatethenapfeature.
2. PressALARM MODE toselectBuzz,iPodorFMmode.
nNote: Oncethenapfeatureisactivated,theclockradiostartsto
count down. The alarm turns on automatically at the end of the set
timeperiod.

bBattery Notes:
• Disposeofbatteriespromptlyandproperly.Donotburnorbury
them.Useonlyfreshbatteriesoftherequiredsizeandtype.
• Ifyoudonotplantousetheclockradioforalongtime,remove
the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage
electronicparts.
• Iftheelectrolyteinthecellsshouldgetonyourskin,thoroughly
washwithsoapandwater.Ifintheeyes,rinsethoroughlywith
cool water. Immediately seek medical attention.
