Allgemeine Hinweise
-Ein unsicher aufgestelltes Motorrad kann bei den folgenden Arbeiten umfallen! Achten Sie darauf, dass
das Fahrzeug sicher steht.
-Verbrennungsgefahr bei heissem Motor und Auspuff! Vor Beginn der Arbeit heiße Fahrzeugteile abkühlen
lassen.
-Kinder und Tiere aus dem Arbeitsbereich fernhalten.
-Schmuck (Uhr, Ringe, Ketten, etc) vor Arbeitsbeginn ablegen.Es besteht Unfallgefahr durch Hängenbleiben
oder elektrischen Kurzschluss.
-Die Montage und Funktion bezieht sich ausschliesslich auf Serienmotorräder.
-Wir übenehmen keine Gewährleistung für die Verwendung an Sonderumbauten und von
Sonderzubehörteilen.
-Nach Montage des Produkts durch eine Werkstatt, ist diese Anbauanleitung dem Kunden auszuhändigen.

Montagehinweise
-Alle Schrauben und Muttern werden mit Drehmoment nach DIN/ISO festgezogen. Abweichende
Drehmomente werden angegeben.
-Lagerungen und Schraubverbindungen sind mit einem geeigneten Schmiermittel einzusetzten, um ein
Festfressen zu verhindern.
-Arbeiten und Entlüftung am Bremssystems sind nur von fachkundigem Personal durchzuführen.
-Es ist unbedingt darauf zu achten, dass keine Züge, Kabel oder Leitungen (insbesondere Bremsleitungen)
andere Fahrzeugkomponenten berühren oder daran scheuern.
-Nach jeder Montage sind alle Schrauben auf festen Sitz und das vorgeschriebenes Drehmoment zu
überprüfen.
-Es ist unbedingt darauf zu achten, dass alle Teile immer einen Mindesabstand von 5mm zu beweglichen
Fahrzeugteilen haben.
Diese Anbauanleitung ist sorgfältig und vollständig vor Beginn der
Einbauarbeiten durchzulesen.

General instructions
-Please ensure the motorcycle is adequately secured before commencing work.
-Always make sure that the motorcycle is stable and firmly supported.
-A hot engine and exhaust system can burn. Allow all hot parts to cool before commencing work.
-Keep children and household pets well away from the work zone.
-Remove all items of personal jewellry (rings, chains,wristwatch, etc.) before commencing work.
-The fitment instructions relate only to the fitment on a standart motorcycles.
-We cannot warranty or legislate for interaction or interference with non standard or custom parts.
-If a technican is installing the parts please ensure these instructions are passed to the owner.
-Please keep the instruction manual at a safe place. In case of selling our product, please hand the
installation instructions over to the new owner.

Operating licence
-Always comply with the regulations regarding approval in the country of use.
-For the Federal Republic of Germany:

Assembling note
-Screws, bolts and nuts are tightened in accordance with the applicable DIN/ISO standarts. Tightening
torques that deviate from the standards are stated.
-All threaded connections and bearings must be greased with suitable grease. Please be careful with the
tools to avoid i.e. scratches.
-Mounting and bleeding at the brake system only by skilled personal.
-Take care that no wires and hoses (especially brake hoses) are too close or touching other components or
moving parts.
-After each mounting check all bolts for correct tightening and specified torque moment.
-Take care that any parts always have a minimum clearence of 5 mm to any moving parts.

-ES WIRD EMPFOHLEN DIE ANLAGE VON EINER FACHWERKSTATT INSTALLIEREN ZU LASSEN.
-INSTALLATION RECOMMENDED BY AN OFFICIAL DEALER OR WORKSHOP.
A: Original Rastenanlage demontieren und Auspuff, sowie Schwinge durch Abdecken gegen Beschädigungen
schützen wie im Bild dargestellt.
B: Nehmen Sie die Voreinstellung am Bremslichtschalter von 7,5mm vor.
A: Detach original rearset like shown in the picture and use protective foil to cover the exhaust and swing arm to
avoid scratches.
B: Adjust the pre assembling at the stop light switch to 7,5mm.

E Fett/ grease!
E: Verbinden Sie gemäß Darstellung E den Bremszylinder und dessen Gabeladapter mit dem Bremshebel der
Rastenanalage.
Fetten Sie den originalen Bolzen (Normales, handelsübliches Industriefett) und montieren Sie den mitgelieferten
Splint Ø1,6mm.
Nehmen Sie keine Änderungen an der Adaptereinstellung des Bremszylinders vor!
E: Connect the master cylinder and its adaptor with the rearset`s brake lever according to picture E.
Grease the original brake bolt (standard, industrial grease) and install this connection by using the included splint pin
Ø1,6mm.
Don`t change the adaptor`s setting on the actuating rod of the master cylinder!
F: Setzen Sie die Rastenanlage an die beiden Anschraubpunkte des Rahmens und vor den Auspuffhalter. Die
Rastenanalage wird mit den zwei Schrauben M8x20-912 handfest fixiert.
F: Put the rearset onto the frame`s mounting points and in front of the exhaust holder. Install it hand tight by using the
two bolts M8x20-912.

I: Mit Hilfe des Original-Halters werden die beiden Züge der Auspuff-Klappensteuerung angehoben und geführt. Der
Halter wird zwischen Bremszylinder und Trägerplatte geschoben und anschließend mit der Schraube M6x25-7380
fixiert.
I: Use the original holder to raise and guide both cables of the exhaust-valve control. Install the holder between the
master cylinder and the master cylinder`s bracket.
Fix it with the bolt M6x25-7380 and tighten it.

G: Verbinden Sie den Auspuffhalter mittels der originalen (schwarzen) Schraube M8x16 an der unteren
Schraubenverbindung mit der Fussrastenanlage. Ziehen Sie die Schraube fest!
Anzugsdrehmoment: 20 Nm
Die obere Verbindung muss dabei fluchten, wie im Detail in Bild G gezeigt!
H: Den Bremszylinder hinter dessen Trägerplatte halten und in der unteren Anbindung mittels Schraube M6x25-7380
handfest anschrauben.
G: Connect the exhaust holder by using the original (black) bolt M8x16 at the lower mounting point. Tighten the bolt!
Tightening torque: 20 Nm
The thread need to fall in line to the hole of the upper mounting point like the detail in G shows!
H: Put the master cylinder in the back of the master cylinder`s bracket and install the bolt M6x25-7380 hand tight at the
lower mounting point.

J: Ziehen Sie die Schrauben aus Schritt H und I mittels Drehmomentschlüssel fest.
Anzugsdrehmoment: 10 Nm
K: Den Fersenschützer CAR06L-6,5-67 gemäß der Darstellung und Angaben montieren/ festziehen.
Schraube M6x30-7380 (oberer Auspuffhalter,- Schritt G beachten) und Schraube M6x8-7380.
Anzugsdrehmomente: 7 Nm
J: Tighten the bolts in step H and I with a suitable torque wrench.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm
K: Install the heel guard CAR06L-6,5-67 like specified in the picture and tighten it. Use the bolt M6x30-7380 (upper
connection of the exhaust holder- Take care on step G) and bolt M6x8-7380.

M: Überprüfen des Bremsspieles durch Drehen des Hinterrades und Betätigen der Bremse mit der Hand (siehe Bild).
Sollte das Bremsspiel nicht ausreichen, (Bremsbeläge liegen an/ schleifen) oder zu groß sein (zu viel Leerweg bis
Druckpunkt), wenden Sie sich an eine YAMAHA- Fachwerkstatt.
Der Bremshebel muss ein spürbares Spiel aufweisen bevor der Bremskolben betätigt wird!
Stellen Sie die Sensibilität beim Auslösen des Bremslichtes ein. Drehen Sie dabei an der Kunststoff- Stellmutter des
Schalters (am Sechskant). Mehrmalige Korrekturen sind möglich. (Testen Sie das Auslösen des Bremslichtes durch
Betätigen des Bremshebels!)
M: Test the brake freeplay by spinning the rear wheel and pressing the brake by hand (like shown in the picture). If
the brake clearance/ freeplay is not enough (brake linings fit/ grind) or too much (too much lever travel until pressure
point), please look for support by an offical YAMAHA- dealer .
The brake lever must have noticable freeplay before the brake piston gets pressed!
Adjust the sensibility of the brake light. Adjust the brake light switch by turning the plastic nut of the switch (turn the
hexagon). Repeated corrections of this step are possible. (Test the function of the brake light by pushing the brake
lever!)
-Zur Durchführung des folgenden Tests sollte das Hinterrad frei drehbar in der Luft sein!
-For the following test the rear wheel should be able to spin free!

N: Demontieren Sie die originale Rastenanlage, sowie den originalen Schalhebel. Die Einstellung von Schaltwelle
(und Schaltautomat) zum Kugelkopfgelenk bleibt unangetastet!
O: Montieren Sie die Rastenanalage wie dargestellt mit den beiden Schrauben M8x20-912.
Ziehen Sie diese abschließend mit dem angegebenen Wert fest!
Anzugsdrehmoment: 20 Nm
N: Remove the original rearset system and the original gear lever. Don`t touch the setting of the original gear
shaft (and quick shifter) and the ball joint!
O: Install the rearset like shown in the picture with the bolts M8x20-912 onto the frame. Finally tighten both bolts with
the marked specification!
Tightening torque: 20 Nm

42! Nutzen Sie die Serienposition,- gekennzeichnet durch Gravur S! Festziehen der Schraube mittels

Q: Stecken Sie die Schraube M8x55-7991 durch die spezielle Abdeckung BL-01. Fügen Sie diese anschließend
durch die Lagerung des Schalthebels. Auf der Rückseite der Lagerung kommt die Buchse DS 13-8,5-4,5 zum
Einsatz.
Q: Insert the bolt M8x55-7991 through the special cover BL-01. After that, put it through the gear lever`s bearing. On
the backside of the bearing you need to add the spacer DS 13-8,5-4,5.

R: Installieren Sie den Schalthebel an die originale Montageposition (Pfeil). Verwendet werden die beiden
Distanzscheiben DS 20-8-10 und DS 20-8-8.
Ziehen Sie die Schraube M8x55-7991 mit dem angegebenen Drehmoment fest! Nutzen Sie Flüssig-
Schraubensicherung (z.B. LOCTITE) zur Unterstützung!
Anzugsdrehmoment: 20 Nm + mittelfeste Schraubensicherung
R: Install the gear lever on the original mounting point (arrow). Use both spacers DS 20-8-10 and DS 20-8-8. Tighten
the bolt M8x55-7991 by using the specified tightening torque!
Use a liquid threadlocker (for example LOCTITE)!

Montieren Sie den Kugelkopf mittels Schraube M6x16-7380 auf die Vorderseite des Schalthebels! Nutzen Sie die
Serien- Umkehrposition,- gekennzeichnet durch Gravur RS! (10 Nm)
Install the original ball joint with the bolt M6x16-7380 from the front onto the gear lever! Use the original-
reverseposition,- marked with a milled engraved RS! (10 Nm)

Der Schaltarm ist gemäß der Detaildarstellung zu montieren. Der Klemmspalt des Schaltarmes steht dabei über dem
Anriss auf der Getriebeausgangswelle (und nicht wie vorher in der Verlängerung).
Die Schaltwelle steht nun ungefähr in einem optimalen Winkel von 90 Grad zum Schaltarm und Schalthebel
Mount the gear arm in the described position (see the detail ). Set up the gear lever`s clamping gab above the
marking crack on the transmission output shaft (not like before in line).
Finally the gear shaft stands nearly under an optimal angle of 90 degrees to the gear arm and the lever .
-Die folgenden Schritte schildern den Umbau von Normal- auf Umkehrschaltung, sprich Gang 1 einlegen
durch Anheben und Gänge 2 bis 6 durch Drauftreten! Bervorzugtes Schalt-schema auf Rennstrecken.
-The next steps describe the installation from normal- to reverse shifting. Actuating of gear 1 by lifting and
gear 2 until 6 by steping the lever! Preferred shifting style on race tracks.

1: Entfernen Sie die Fussrate um Ihre neue, individuelle Sitzposition auf der Fussrastenanlage einzustellen. Ablauf
auf rechter und linker Seite identisch (R=L)!
1: Remove the footpeg to adjust your new and individual ridingposition on the rearset system`s basic plate.
Procedure is on the right and left side the same (R=L)!
1.1 / 1.2: Entfernen Sie die Schraube (M4x8-14583) und den Bolzen (RG-BO-01) gemäß der Darstellungen.
1.1 / 1.2: Detach the screw screw (M4x8-14583) and the bolt (RG-BO-01) according to the pictures.

1.3: Ziehen Sie am Rastenkörper (a) und schwenken Sie diesen aus dem Gelenk (RG-810) heraus (b).
1.4: Demontieren Sie die Schraube M8x16-912 und somit das Gelenk RG-810.

3: Verstellung vornehmen
-Stellen Sie die rechte und linke Fussrastenanlage
immer identisch ein. Die Lasergravuren helfen Ihnen dabei.
-Anziehen der zentralen Klemmschraube (M8x55)!
Anzugsdrehmoment: 20 Nm

Einstellen/ Adjustment
2: Rastenposition verändern/ anpassen
-Lösen Sie die zentrale Klemmschraube (M8x55-7991-TX)
so lange, bis der Zahnkranz des Verstellsteines (VST-03)
den Rastenausleger (UV-06) freigibt.
ACHTUNG: Schraube nicht komplett rausdrehen!-
Rückseitige Sicherung durch Spezialmutter.
-Der Rastenausleger samt Raste kann nun der Länge nach
verschoben oder mittels Verzahnung in der Höhe verstellt
werden.
2: Change the footpeg`s position
-Loosen the central clamping bolt (M8x55-7991-TX) until
the teethed adjuster (VST-03) releases the footpeg- slider
(UV-06).
SPECIAL NOTE: Don`t remove the bolt!- Otherwise you
damage or loose the safety nut on the backside.
-Now its possible to slide the footpeg in length direction or
turn it on the preferred heigth.

Trittstückverstellung an Schalt- und Bremshebel
6a: Zur Verstellung des Trittstückes ist die
Schraube M6x20-7380-TX zu lösen.
Trittstück drehbar einstellen und Schraube festziehen.
Anzugsdrehmoment: 10 Nm
6b: Die zweite Bohrung kann ebenfalls zur Positionierung
des Exzenters genutzt werden.

toe piece.
Turn the toe piece to desired position and
re-tighten bolt.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm
