1.1 DESTINAZIONE D’USO
Le apparecchiature GIROLAMI serie 945 e
serie ALFA rientrano nella categoria apparati
da riscaldamento, e sono destinati all’utilizzo in
ambienti chiusi, quali abitazioni e uffici. L’apparato
non è idoneo all’utilizzo in ambienti aperti. Il
monoblocco grazieallasuastrutturainteramente
in metallo, ed al focolare con sportello di chiusura
in vetro ceramico, è adatto al riscaldamento di
unoopiùambientiasecondadellaconfigurazione
che si sceglie. Il rendimento massimo avviene a
sportello chiuso.
La destinazione d’uso sopra riportata e le
configurazioni previste dalla macchina sono
le uniche ammesse dal costruttore: non
utilizzare la macchina in disaccordo
con le indicazioni fornite.
ATTENZIONE: la destinazione d’uso indicata
è valida solo per le apparecchiature in piena
efficienza strutturale meccanica ed impiantistica.
Il caminetto GIROLAMI è un apparecchio solo
da interno.
1.2 SCOPO E CONTENUTO DEL

SCOPO
Lo scopo del manuale è quello di consentire
all’utilizzatore di prendere quei provvedimenti
e predisporre tutti i mezzi umani e materiali
necessari per un suo uso corretto, sicuro e
duraturo.
CONTENUTO

necessarie per l’installazione, l’impiego e la
manutenzione del caminetto MONOBLOCCO
serie 945 e MONOBLOCCO serie ALFA.

1 GENERAL
Do not start using the stove until you have read
and understood the contents of this manual. If
you have any doubts at any time do not hesitate
to call the GIROLAMI specialized personnel who
are there to help you.

1.1 USE OF THE STOVE
The GIROLAMI 945 series and ALFA series
areheatingdevicesdesignedtobeusedinclosed
settings, such as homes and offices. The stove is
not meant to be used outdoors. With its structure
made entirely of metal and a firebox with a door
made of ceramic glass, the stove can heat one
or more rooms, depending on the configuration
chosen. It heats best with the firebox door shut.
Use of the stove, as described above and its
configurations are only those allowed by the
manufacturer: do not use the stove in
disagreement with the indications
provided.
DANGER: the indicated use of the fireplace
is applicable only for fireplaces in full structural,
mechanical and engineering efficiency. The
GIROLAMI fireplace is for indoor use only.

1.4 AGGIORNAMENTO DEL

Il presente manuale rispecchia lo stato del
prodotto al momento dell’acquisto. Nel caso
di migliorie apportate al prodotto, il manuale
potrebbe subire variazioni ed aggiornamenti
senza preavviso da parte della Girolami, pertanto
nel caso in cui si richieda alla Girolami Caminetti
copia del presente manuale è indispensabile
fornire il numero di serie del prodotto.

Costruttore del caminetto fare riferimento al
numero di serie presente nella targhetta oppure
al numero di revisione del presente libretto posto
in basso in ogni pagina o ai dati identificativi indicati
alle pagine “SCHEDA DATI APPARECCHIO” alla
fine del presente manuale.

be made in the product, the manual may be

prior notice from Girolami. When requesting
a copy of the present manual from Girolami
Caminetti, therefore, it is indispensable that the
serial number of the product be indicated.

If there is an exchange of information with the
stove manufacturer, please indicate the serial
number on the stove label or the revision number
found at the bottom of each page of this manual,
or the identifying data provided on the “MACHINE
DATA SHEET” page at the end of this manual.
LIABILITIES
With the presentation of this manual, GIROLAMI
declines all liabilities, both civil and penal, for any
accidents resulting from total or partial failure to
comply with the instructions on safety, installation
or use contained therein.
GIROLAMI also declines all liabilities resulting from
an improper use of the unit, incorrect use by the
user or resulting from unauthorised alterations
and/or repairs, or the use of spare parts that are
either not genuine or not specific for this particular

Le operazioni di manutenzione straordinaria
devono essere eseguite da personale
qualificato ed abilitato ad intervenire sui modelli
di monoblocchi a cui fa riferimento il presente
manuale.
RESPONSABILITÀ DELLE OPERE
DI INSTALLAZIONE
La responsabilità delle opere eseguite per
l’installazione del caminetto non può essere
considerata a carico della GIROLAMI , essa è,
e rimane, a carico dell’installatore, al quale è
demandatal’esecuzionedelleverificherelativealla
cannafumaria,alla presad’aria edallacorrettezza
delle soluzioni di installazione proposte. Devono
essere rispettate tutte le norme previste dalla
legislazione locale, nazionale ed europea vigente
nello stato dove la stessa è installata.
USO
L’uso della macchina è subordinato, oltre che alle
prescrizioni contenute nel presente manuale,
anche al rispetto di tutte le norme di sicurezza
previste dalla legislazione specifica vigente nello
stato dove la stessa è installata.

EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
Extraordinary maintenance must be carried out
by personnel qualified to work on the fireplace
model to which this manual refers.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR INSTALLATION
It is not GIROLAMI’s responsibility to carry out the
works needed to install the fireplace. Such works
are entirely up to the installer who is requested
to check the flue and air intake and to check if
the installation solutions proposed are feasible.
All applicable standards and local, national and
European legislation in force in the country where
the fireplace is installed must be respected.
USE
Use of the stove is subject to compliance with all
the safety standards established by the relevant
laws in force in the place of installation besides
the prescriptions contained in this manual.

alla successiva re-istallazione del prodotto se
necessari, nonché eventuali risarcimenti per il
periodo di inefficienza del termocamino.

dove ha effettuato l’acquisto che provvederà ad
espletare le pratiche necessarie all’intervento da

nessun modo dei possibili inconvenienti derivanti
da cattivo tiraggio della canna fumaria in
quanto pur fornendo nel presente libretto delle
indicazioni di massima sulla corretta istallazione
della stessa, tali indicazioni sono soggette ad
eccezioni che possono essere legate a fattori
non prevedibili dalla nostra azienda (condizioni
climatiche, geofisiche, geologiche, ecc). A tal
proposito invitiamo ancora una volta ad avvalersi
di tecnici capaci e di comprovata esperienza che
si assumano la responsabilità in caso di cattivo
funzionamento.

legislation are all excluded from warranty.

and subsequent reinstallation of the product, if
necessary, as well as any compensation for the
period of ineffectiveness of the fireplace heating

booklet provides general instructions for proper
installation, these instructions are subject to
exceptions that may be associated with factors
that cannot be foreseen by our company
(climatic, geophysical, geological and other
conditions). In this regard, we suggest once again
that you make use of competent, experienced
technicians who will assume responsibility in the
event of faulty operation.

fossero irraggiungibili Girolami Caminetti non
effettuerà l’intervento e si riserva il diritto al
risarcimento delle spese relative alla chiamata,
alla trasferta e alle ore che il tecnico dell’azienda
ha perso.

per le suddette parti i termini di validità della
garanzia sono espressi nei libretti di istruzione
dei singoli fabbricanti allegati ai prodotti. In
caso di malfunzionamenti rivolgersi sempre al
rivenditore presso il quale si è effettuato l’acquisto
che provvederà alle opportune segnalazioni di
guasto.
L’inosservanza delle prescrizioni

1.9 CARATTERISTICHE
DELL’UTILIZZATORE
L’utilizzatore del caminetto deve essere una
persona adulta e responsabile provvista
delle conoscenze tecniche necessarie per la
manutenzione ordinaria dei componenti del
caminetto.
ATTENZIONE: alcune parti del camino, quali,
vetro; maniglia; sportello possono raggiungere

1.9 USER CHARACTERISTICS
The person who uses the fireplace must be an
adult and responsible, with all the necessary
technical know-how to carry out routine
maintenance of the components of the fireplace.
WARNING: some parts of the fireplace, such as
the glass, the handle and the hatch, can reach
extremely high temperatures.

1.10 ASSISTENZA TECNICA
Girolami è in grado di risolvere qualunque
problema tecnico riguardante l’impiego e
la manutenzione nell’intero ciclo di vita della
macchina a condizione che vengano rispettate
le procedure di installazione, la mancata
realizzazione di vani di ispezione potrebbe
comportare l’impossibilità fisica di intervento da
parte del personale Girolami.
Nel caso di interventi in garanzia e non, da
effettuarsi presso gli stabilimenti dell’azienda, o
in caso di sostituzione del prodotto per difetto di
fabbricazione, Girolami Caminetti non risponderà
in nessun modo delle eventuali spese dovute allo
smontaggio e il rimontaggio del rivestimento in
quanto non istallato da Girolami. In tal senso si
suggerisce di valutare attentamente le modalità
di realizzazione di eventuali rivestimenti tali da
consentire la rimozione dell’apparecchio in caso
di necessità.
La sede centrale è a vostra disposizione per ogni
consiglio al riguardo e per concordare i tempi di
intervento in caso di necessità.
1.11 PARTI DI RICAMBIO
Impiegare esclusivamente parti di
ricambio originali.
Non attendere che i componenti siano logorati
dall’uso prima di procedere alla loro sostituzione.
Sostituire un componente usurato prima della
rottura favorisce la prevenzione degli infortuni
derivati da incidenti causati proprio dalla rottura
improvvisa dei componenti, che potrebbe
provocare gravi danni a persone e cose.
Eseguire controlli periodici di
manutenzione come indicato nel
capitolo “MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA”.
1.12 CONSEGNA DEL CAMINETTO
Il caminetto viene consegnato perfettamente
imballato e fissato ad una pedana in legno che
ne permette la movimentazione mediante carrelli
elevatori e/o altri mezzi.
ATTENZIONE: il capovolgimento della
macchina può causare il bloccaggio
di alcun sue parti NON CAPOVOLGERE
O SDRAIARE.

1.10 TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
Girolami is able to solve any technical problem
concerning the use and maintenance of the
appliance, throughout its life cycle, assuming
that the instructions for installation are followed,
seeing that failure to include inspection spaces
could make it physically impossible for the
Girolami personnel to work on the stove.
When work is done, whether under warranty or
not, at the company, or if the product is replaced
because of manufacturing defects, Girolami
Caminetti will in no way answer for any expenses
deriving from the disassembly and reassembly of
the cladding, since it was not installed by Girolami.
We therefore recommend that you carefully
assess how any recladding is to be done so as
to allow the device to be removed if necessary.
Feel free to contact the central office for advice
on this topic and to schedule repairs or other
work when necessary.
1.11 SPARE PARTS
Use genuine spare parts only.
Do not wait until the components are worn from
use before changing them.
Changing a worn component before it breaks
makes it easier to prevent accidents that could
otherwise lead to serious injury to people or
damage to things.
Carry out the routine maintenance
checks as explained in the
“MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING”
chapter.
1.12 DELIVERY OF THE STOVE
The fireplace is delivered perfectly packed in
cardboard and fixed to a wooden pallet so it can
be handled by forklifts and/or other means.
WARNING: turning the device upside
down can cause certain parts to jam.
