La presente macchina/apparecchiatura rientra nelle prescrizioni della Direttiva 2002/96/CE e 2003/108/CE (RAEE) e non può essere smaltita
come riuto urbano generico ma attraverso raccolta separata; Il simbolo del bidone barrato riportato sul prodotto indica questa prescrizione.
Lo smaltimento della stessa e dei suoi componenti dovrà avvenire secondo quanto previsto dalle Direttive 2002/96/CE e
2003/108/CE (RAEE) e le disposizioni di Legge del Paese di destinazione della macchina/apparecchiatura; il mancato rispetto della

Collegamento del cavetto di emergenza - Connection of emergency cable
Attenzione : il collegamento del cavetto di emergenza NON esegue la ricarica delle batterie.
Per la ricarica va utilizzato lo specico caricabatterie NimH fornito in dotazione.
- Caricabatterie
Il caricabatterie specico per batterie NimH consente la
ricarica rapida del pacco batterie contenuto all’ interno
del trasmettitore senza dover aprire lo stesso.
Per eseguire la ricarica collegare il caricabatterie fornito in dotazione

Attention: if the emergency cable is connected, NO BATTERY RECHARGE will
occur. Use the specic NimH battery charger (standard supplied) to recharge
batteries.
-Battery Charger
The battery charger, specic for NimH batteries,
grants a quick recharge of the battery pack directly
from inside the transmitter.

2.0 -Installazione del kit radiocomando - Installation of the radio control
L’installazione del kit è consentito solo ed esclusivamente a personale esperto, appo-
sitamente addestrato ed autorizzato.
The installation of the kit is permitted to expert staff only, properly trained and authori-
zed to the purpose.
2.1 - Montaggio e collegamento Gr. Trasmettitore su Pedaliera
Assembly and connection of Transmitter on pedal unit
1- Svitare le viti (1) che ssano il cavallotto
(3), togliere il medesimo cavallotto ed il distanziale
(4).Svitarelaghiera(5)dalconnettore(11) inmodo
da liberare il cavo pedaliera (2).
Scollegare il cavo pedaliera (2).
1- Release the u-bolt (3) fastening screws (1),
remove u-bolt and spacer (4). Release the ring
nut (5) from the connector (11) in a way to free the
pedal cable (2). Disconnect the pedal cable (2).
2-togliere la staffa (7) dal gruppo trasmet-titore
svitando le viti (8).
Appoggiare il trasmettitore sulla base della
pedaliera e ssarlo sulla stessa attraverso la
staffa (7). Riavvitare le viti (8).
2-Remove the bracket (7) from the transmit-
ter unit, by releasing the screws (8). Place the
transmitter on the pedal unit base and use the
bracket (7) to x it. Tighten the screws (8).

unit paying attention to keep the contacts outsi-
de the ring nut (10) in a way they coincide with
those on connector (11). Place the plastic spa-
cer (4) in its original position under the receiver
cable (9) locking the cable through the band (3)
by means of the screws (1)

1–Scollegare il cavo pedaliera (12) dalla

the power pack and put it in a place where it
doesn’t hinder the operator’s work.
3.0 - Montaggio e collegamento Gr. Ricevitore su Pedaliera
Assembly and connection of Receiver on pedal unit
2-posizionare il ricevitore sull’apposita staffa di
ssaggio (14) inserendo i perni lettati nei due
fori della base di supporto.
Fissare il ricevitore serrando i dadi (13).
2-Put the receiver on the proper fastening
bracket (14) introducing the threaded pins into
the support base holes. Fix the receiver by
tightening the nuts (13)

4.0 - Ricarica delle batterie
Battery Recharge
L’accensione di un led rosso sul gruppo trasmettitore (g.) indica che le batterie sono entrate in
riserva di energia (con cavetto emergenza scollegato) .
Per la ricarica delle batterie utilizzare l’apposito caricabatterie collegandolo ad una presa di
alimentazione con tensione contenuta nel range 100-240Vac 50/60Hz.
Il cavo di ricarica andrà inserito nella presa di colore rosso posta sul trasmettitore.
La frequenza delle operazioni di ricarica dipendente dall’utilizzo dello smontagomme.
La durata della ricarica è regolata dal carica batterie che segnalerà la ne della stessa con un
indicazione luminosa.
A red led-light on the transmitter unit (pict.) means that battery is low (emergency cable
disconnected).
For battery recharge connect the proper battery charger to the plug. Tension must stay in
the range 100-240Vac 50/60Hz.
The recharge cable shall be inserted in the red plug available on the transmitter.
The need of recharge depends on how much the tyre-changer is used.
The state of recharge is shown by the battery charger through a led-light signalling low
battery.

4.1 - Caricabatterie
Battery charger
Indicazioni:
• LED ROSSO “POWER” :se acceso in modo sso indica che il caricabatterie è pronto
all’uso.Si accende appena lo stesso viene collegato ad una presa a 230Vac.
• LED ROSSO “CHARGE”:se acceso in modo sso indica ricarica in corso.
• LED VERDE “READY”:
o Se acceso in modo stabile indica che il pacco batterie è completamente carico.
Dopo circa 2 minuti questo inizia a lampeggiare indicando che siamo nella
modalità mantenimento della carica.
o Appena si collega un pacco batterie tale led inizia a lampeggiare indicando che il
caricabatterie sta eseguendo il test sul pacco stesso. Dopo circa 1 minuto il led si
spegne.
o Se il led verde smette di lampeggiare e il led rosso “CHARGE” non si accende
questo indica che il pacco batterie o non è collegato correttamente o c’è un
problema di polarità.
• LED GIALLO “DISCHARGE”: se acceso in modo stabile indica che siamo in modalita
scarica delle batterie.(attivabile premendo il tasto posto a anco del led)
Una volta terminato il ciclo di scarica il pacco batterie verra automaticamente ricaricato.
Indications:
• “POWER” RED LED-LIGHT: when steady alight, it means the battery charger is ready
for use. It lights up when connected to 230Vac power.
• “CHARGE” RED LED-LIGHT: when steady alight, it shows the recharge is in
progress.
• “READY” GREEN LED-LIGHT:
o When steady alight, it means the battery pack is fully loaded.After about 2 minutes
it starts ashing so showing the charge maintenance mode.
o When a battery pack is connected, this led starts ashing so warning that the battery
charger is testing the battery pack. After about 1 minute the led turns off.
o If the green led stops ashing and the red led for CHARGE doesn’t light up, there
is either a faulty connection of battery pack or some polarity troubles.
• “DISCHARGE”YELLOWLED-LIGHT: whensteadyalight,itindicatesbatterydischarge
mode (command button placed next to the led-light). Once the battery pack is fully
discharged, recharge procedure will start automatically.

5.0 - Sostituzione delle batterie
Battery replacement
In caso di danneggiamento delle batterie, o di perdita delle caratteristiche di capacità dovuto
all’uso, si dovranno sostituire seguendo la seguente procedura.
- Smontare il trasmettitore dalla pedaliera
togliendo il cavallotto di ssaggio del cavo (3)
svitando le viti (1).
Svitare i dadi (8) per rimuovere la staffa di
ssaggio del trasmettitore (7).
- Rimuovere il pacco batterie(5)dalla propria
sede.
Scollegare il connettore (6) inserito nel plug
identicato con la serigraa “J10 BATTERY”.
- Remove the battery pack (5) from its housing.
Disconnect connector (6) from plug marked
“J10 BATTERY”.
- Togliere le 4 viti (2) che ssano il coperchio del
trasmettitore (4)
- Remove the 4 screws (2) xing the transmitter
cover (4)
-Inserireilconnettore(6)delnuovopaccobatterie
(5) all’interno del plug identicato con la sigla “J10
BATTERY”
- Introduce connector (6) of new battery pack
(5) into plug marked “J10 BATTERY”.
If the batteries get damaged or lose their
capacity owing to the use, they must be
replaced as follows:
- Disconnect the transmitter from pedal unit by
removing cable fastener (3) and screws (1).
Unscrew nuts (8) to also remove the transmitter
support (7)

- Rimontare il coperchio (2) sulla base con le
apposite viti (4).
- Reinstall cover (2) and x it on the base by
relevant screws (4)
- Rimontare il trasmettitore sulla pedaliera
- Reinstall the transmitter on pedal unit
6.0 - Uso del cavo di emergenza
Use of emergency cable
Nella dotazione fornita con il kit radio viene fornito un cavo di emergenza che consente l’utilizzo
della macchina con batterie scariche o quando si hanno problemi nella comunica-zione radio.
Procedura di collegamento.
In standard outt there is also an emergency cable that enables the operator to use the machine
with low battery or troubles in radio-communication.
Connecting procedure.
- collegare un capo del cavo di emergenza
nell’apposito connettore (1) presente sul
trasmettitore
- connect one of the cable ends to the proper
connector (1) available on transmitter. 1
- collegare l’altro capo del cavo di emergen-
za nell’apposito connettore (2) presente sul
ricevitore
connect the other end to the proper connector
(2) available on receiver.

- Vericare che vi siano le seguenti indica-zioni
luminose sul trasmettitore:
1. LED VERDE (3) che lampeggia ad
indicare la presenza di comunica-zione
tra trasmettitore e ricevitore;
2. LED ROSSO (4) acceso in modo stabile
che indica la connessione del cavo di
emergenza

Appendix A – Selection of operation frequency
Nel caso si sia scelto Il radiocomando S555/S558/S559 in versione multicanale l’installatore
potrà impostare la frequenza di lavoro tra quelle in tabella 1:
In case the radio-control is MULTI-CHANNEL type, the installer can set operating frequency
among the possibilities proposed in chart 1:

La frequenza di lavoro standard che viene impostata di fabbrica è quella relativa al canale 1 che
corrisponde a 433,100 MHz.
Per cambiare la frequenza si deve eseguire i seguenti passi operativi.
Standard operating frequency (preset from factory) is Channel 1 – 433,100 MHz.
To change frequency, follow the steps described below:

- Spegnere la centralina elettrica agendo
sull’interruttore generale (1)
- Turn off the power pack by means of main
switch (1)

- Aprire il coperchio della scatola ricevitore svi-
tando le viti (2) in modo da avere accesso alla
scheda contenuta al suo interno
- Open the receiver box by unscrewing screws
(2) in a way to reach the board inside it.

- Agire sui microswitch di SW1 (3) in modo da
scegliere la frequenza desiderata .

- Act on microswitch SW1 (3) to select the desi-

- Chiudere il coperchio della scatola ricevitore.
Alla successiva accensione della macchina
si avrà la transizione alla nuova frequenza di
lavoro.
- Close the receiver box. The frequency will
change and set to the new value at next start of
the machine.
9.0 - Cambio della frequenza di lavoro Ricevitore
Change of operation frequency - TRANSMITTER
- Aprire il coperchio della scatola trasmet-titore
svitando le viti (4) in modo da avere accesso
alla scheda contenuta al suo interno
- Open the transmitter box by unscrewing screw
(4) in a way to reach the board inside it.

- Agire sui microswitch di SW1 (5) in modo
che la frequenza scelta sia concorde a quella
selezionata sul ricevitore.

- Act on microswitch SW1 (5) to let the selected
frequency and the receiver frequency coincide.

- Agire sul jumper di programmazione
