About this Manual
This user manual is for use with the GKB 36 Series Camera. This document
contains important information and instructions detailing proper operation and
maintenance of GKB 36 Series Camera.
Be aware that before installing or operating the unit, please read all safety

GKB 36 Series is a surveillance device for use in security systems that assist in the
management of security. GKB is not liable nor can be held responsible for any

Precaution
!
1. Do not drop the camera.
GKB HD5435 SDI Camera is not designed to resist
heavy impact. Handle with care to avoid damage to
sensitive internal components.
2. Do not install camera under extreme
temperatures.
GKB HD5435 SDI Camera operates only under
temperature conditions between -10˚C ~ 50˚C and with
good ventilation.
3. Do not expose the camera to radioactivity and
mount facing strong light sources.
Exposing the camera to radioactivity or strong light
over long periods of time will damage the camera’s
sensor.

4. Do not supply voltage higher than 12V DC.
GKB HD5435 SDI Camera regulates power within this
range. Higher voltages will damage the camera’s
electronic components.
5. Do not install the camera in environments with
extreme humidity.
Installing GKB HD5435 SDI Camera in environments
with extreme humidity may cause moisture to
condense on the surface of the lens or dome cover
affecting picture quality.
6. Do not install the camera under unstable light
conditions.
Installing GKB HD5435 SDI Camera in environments
with unstable light conditions may cause the camera
to function abnormally.

Camera OSD SETUP MENU
Operating the OSD Menu
!The button provides five separate actions: UP, DOWN, EXIT, ENTER and
MENU.
!Press MENU to go to the OSD Menu Page.
!Press UP, DOWN, EXIT or ENTER to select items on the menu and begin
configuration.

Enter IMAGE menu, can adjust MIRROR/ FLIP depends on the camera installation.
Adjust contrast/ edge/ bright due to customers’ image preference.

2. EXPOSURE
In EXP MODE can adjust Shutter & Gain for different exposure condition.
Speed/ IRIS FLAG for you adjust due to various light sources.
3. WHITE BAL
Provide AUTO/ INDOOR/ OUTDOOR/ MANUAL four types for WHITE BAL. For
AUTO/INDOOR/OUTDOOR, it has corresponding value for R, G, B. And you can set your
own R, G, B value in MANUAL mode.

For PRIVACY, provide two areas mask.

In System, Camera ID can be set for needing control camera setting through RS-232/RS-
485 so on. Also camera ID/ NAME can be decided be displayed or not.
