1 Preparing for installation
CAUTION: Always shut off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.
□Shut off the water supply. Remove the old
faucet.
3 Installing the sprayer support
□If your model has a side sprayer, proceed to
step 3. If your model does not have a side
sprayer, skip to step 5.
□Insert the sprayer ange (H) through the far
right hole on the sink.
□Screw the sprayer mounting nut (I) onto the
sprayer ange (H) shank from underneath the
sink, and hand tighten. Do not overtighten.
NOTE: The faucet with spray requires a 4 hole sink for
installation.

Clean the mounting surface.
2 Installing the faucet assembly
□Place the faucet (A) through the mounting holes
in the sink.
□Secure the faucet (A) to the sink using the
mounting nut (F) provided. Hand tighten only.
WITH FLANGE: Place the ange (B) and the
gasket (C) on the bottom of the new faucet (A).
Place the faucet (A) through the mounting holes
in the sink until the faucet (A) sets on top of the
sink.

WITH ESCUTCHEON: Before installation, remove
The ange (B) and the gasket (C). Place the
escutcheon (D) and the gasket (E) on the bottom
of the faucet (A). Place the faucet (A) through the
mounting holes in the sink until the faucet (A)
sets on top of the sink.

4 Connecting the spray hose to
the faucet
□Insert the side sprayer (G) hose down through
the sprayer ange (H) and sink. Align the
tabs (1 & 2) on the quick connects (3). Push the
quick connector housing rmly upward and
snap it onto the receiving tube tab. Pull down
the hose moderately to ensure the connection
has been made.

Making the water supply
connections
NOTE: The hot side inlet tube is indicated by a label.
If the label is not present, the hot supply tube is the longer
of the two inlet tubes.
□Use 1/2 in. I.P.S. faucet connections (2), or use
supply line coupling nuts (3) (not included) with
a 3/8 in. O.D. ball-nose riser (1).
1Flushing and checking for leaks
IMPORTANT: After installation is complete, remove the
aerator from the faucet (A) to ush the water lines. Do not
lose the gasket (1) in the aerator.
□Ensure the faucet (A) handle is in the off
position and turn on the water supply to check
for leaks. If you discover any leaks, check your
connections to ensure they are installed properly.
□Remove the aerator and housing (if applicable).
Turn on the hot and cold handles to allow the
water to run for at least one minute. This
ushes away any debris that could cause
damage to internal parts.
□Turn off the water and reinstall the aerator and
housing (if applicable).
Operation
□If it is necessary to plug up one of the inlet tubes,
use a plug (not included) with a washer.
□Remove the sleeve from the inlet tube.
IMPORTANT: When pre-tightening the water supply
line to the faucet connector, a second wrench must be
applied to the inlet supply tube tting to prevent it from
moving or twisting when tightening the water supply line.
Do not overtighten.

The bonnet nut has come loose and/or the
washer is dirty or damaged.
□Use wrench to retighten the
bonnet nut sufciently.

□Ensure that the rubber washer
is properly installed.
The water will not shut off
completely.
The rubber seat and spring is dirty or

□Remove the cartridge to check

2Removing the quick connector
□If it is necessary to remove the quick connector
(1), squeeze the tabs (2) on the quick connector

1 Cómo prepararse para la
instalación
PRECAUCIÓN: Cierra siempre el suministro de agua
antes de retirar un grifo existente o reemplazar alguna
parte del mismo. Abre la llave del grifo para liberar la
presión de agua y asegúrate de que el suministro de agua
esté completamente cerrado.
□Cierra el suministro de agua. Retira el grifo
anterior.
□Limpia la supercie de montaje.
□CON BRIDA: Coloca la brida (B) y la junta (C) en
la parte inferior del grifo nuevo (A). Coloca el
grifo (A) a través de los oricios de montaje del
lavamanos hasta que el grifo (A) se asiente en
la parte superior del lavamanos.

□CON PLACA PROTECTORA: Antes de la
instalación, retira la brida (B) y la junta (C).
Coloca la placa protectora (D) y la junta (E) en
la parte inferior del grifo (A). Coloca el grifo (A)
a través de los oricios de montaje del
lavamanos hasta que el grifo (A) se asiente en
la parte superior del lavamanos.

3 Cómo instalar el soporte del
rociador
□Inserta la brida del rociador (H) a través del
oricio derecho extremo del lavabo.
□Enrosca la tuerca de montaje del rociador (I)
en el vástago de la brida del rociador (H)
desde abajo del lavabo y aprieta con la mano.
No aprietes demasiado.
NOTA: La mezcladora con rociador necesita un lavabo de
4 oricios para la instalación.

□S i tu modelo tiene un rociador lateral, continúa
con el paso 3. Si tu modelo no tiene un rociador
lateral, salta al paso 5.
2 Cómo instalar el ensamblaje
del grifo
□Coloca la mezcladora (A) en los oricios de
montaje del lavabo.
□Asegura la mezcladora (A) al lavabo con las
tuercas de montaje (F) suministradas. Aprieta
con la mano solamente.

5Cómo hacer las conexiones
del suministro de agua
NOTA: El tubo de entrada del agua caliente se identica
con una etiqueta. Si no encuentras la etiqueta, el tubo de
suministro del agua caliente es el más largo de los dos
tubos de entrada.
□Usa conexiones de grifos de 1/2" IPS (2) o
tuercas de acoplamiento de líneas de suministro
(3) (no incluidas) con un tubo montante de bola
de diámetro exterior de 3/8" (1).
1Cómo purgar las tuberías y
comprobar que no haya fugas
IMPORTANTE: Después de terminar la instalación, retira
el aireador del grifo (A) para descargar las líneas de agua.
No aojes la junta (1) en el aireador.
□Asegúrate de que las llave del grifo (A) estén
cerradas y abre el suministro del agua para
comprobar que no haya ltraciones. Si
descubres alguna ltración, verica tus
conexiones para asegurarte de que estén
instaladas adecuadamente.
□Retira el aireador y la carcasa (si corresponde).
Abre los manerales del suministro de agua fría
y caliente y deja que corran durante al menos
un minuto cada una. Esto elimina cualquier
desecho que pudiera dañar las piezas internas.
□Cierra el suministro de agua y vuelve a colocar
el aireador y la carcasa (si corresponde).
Funcionamiento
□Si es necesario conectar uno de los tubos de
entrada, usa un conector (no incluido) con una
arandela.
□Retira la funda del tubo de entrada.
IMPORTANTE: Al apretar previamente el conector
del grifo a la línea de suministro de agua, se debe aplicar
una segunda llave al accesorio de la tubería de suministro
para evitar que se mueva o tuerza al ajustar la línea de
suministro de agua. No apretar demasiado.
4 Cómo conectar la manguera
del rociador al grifo
□Inserta la manguera del rociador lateral (G)
hacia abajo a través de la brida del rociador (H)
y el lavabo. Alinea las pestañas (1 y 2) con los
conectores rápidos (3). Presiona rmemente el
ensamblaje del conector rápido hacia arriba
hasta que encaje en la pestaña del tubo receptor.
Hala cuidadosamente la manguera para
asegurarte de que la conexión se ha realizado.

Cuidado y limpieza
□Para limpiar, usa un paño húmedo y seca con una toalla.
□No uses limpiadores abrasivos, esponjas de alambre o productos químicos fuertes para limpiar esta
