锁定功能使用 EZb 的所有按钮和拨盘失效,以防止在模式设定后无意中改变了设置。该功能
还可以防止〈 〉 按钮意外地中断已经启动的操作。按下并保持〈 〉按钮至少三秒钟,直
至 指示器出现。要取消该功能,按下并操持〈 〉按钮至少三秒钟,直至指示器熄灭。

Timer Remote Controller EZb is a remote switch with the following timer control and exposure count control functions. It is very useful for time-lapse
photography of blooming flowers, astrophotography ,etc.
Connectable to the camera ’s quick-look remote control socket.
The time is settable in 1 sec. from 1 sec. to 99 hours, 59 min. and 59 sec.The set time period can be used for any timer funcion.
The remote switch function can be used without battery power.

The display panel is a liquid crystal display. With time, the display will become lighter and harder to read, In such case, take the product to your nearest Service Center to
replace the display panel(at cost). At low temperatures, the display response may become slower.And at 60℃ / 140F and higher temperatures, the display may blacken. In either
case, the display will teturn to normal at room temperature.
This device complies part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:(1) This device may not cause harmful interference ,and(2) this device must accept any interference
received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Do not make any changes or modifications to the equipment unles otherwise specified in the instructions. If such changes or
modifications should be made, you could be required to stop operation of the equipment.
This equipment has been tested adn found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device. pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to prvide.reasonable protection against
harmful interference in a residetial installation. This equipment generates, uses can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not instaled and used in accordance with the instuctions, may cause harmful
interference to rasion communication.
However,hter is no guarantee that interferece will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning teh equipment off and on, the user is encouraged totry to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. Increase the separation
between the equipment and receiver. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio / TV technician for help.

The EZb uses one lithium CR2032 battery.
To prevent camera misoperation, disconnect the EZb from the camera before installing the battery.
1. Use the tip of a ball-point pen or similar instrument to press the battery compartment button.
Then open the battery compartment cover as showm in the figure.
If the battery contacts are soiled, corrosion or improper electrical contact may result. Before installing the battery, wipe the battery
contacts with a clean cloth.
2. Put the battery on the battery +/- marking on the cover and make sure the battery orientation
is correct. If the battery is installed incorrectly, the EZb will not operate.
1. Close the battery compartment cover.

The EZb does not have a power switch.
When the battery is removed, all EZb settings will be cleared.
In low tempertures, battery performance may be affected temporarily. It should return to normal at room temperature.

2. Insert the EZb ’s plug into the camera ’s remote control socket.
1. Remove the camera ’s remote conrtol socket cover.
Put the remote control socket cover into the EZb ’s remote control socket holder.

To illuminate the dispaly panel,press
the〈 〉button, The illumination lasts
for 6 sec. To turn off the illumination,
press the button again.
2. After selecting the time unit (blinking digits),slide the〈 〉dial to set the desired time for that time nuit.
The time can be set from 1 sec, For example, follow steps below to set the time to 1 hour,2minutes,and 30 sec.

The Hold function disables all the EZb buttons(except〈 〉)and dial
to ptevent any inadvertent alteration of the settings after the mode is set.
It also prevents the 〈 〉button from accidentally stopping an operation that has strarted.
Press adn hold down the〈 〉button for at least 3 sec. until the〈 〉indicator appears.
To cancel this function, press and hold down the button for at least 3 sec. until the indicator
turns off.
For bulb exposures, select the long exposure mode . Setting teh camera to bulb will not result in a bulb
exposure unless the EZb ’s long exposure mode is also set.
If you are using an AE mode, cover the camera ’s eye piece to ensure accurate exposure metering.
If the long exposure mode and interval timer mode are set in combnation, the long exposure and interval
timer will start after the self-timer delay elapses.
If the exposure count is set to OO(blank setting), the number of time interval shootings will be unlimited.


If only the number of exposures is set and the〈〉button is pressed, the number of exposures will be taken at one-second intervals.
When the number of exposures is set in combination with s timer mode, the result will be as described below . For details, see page 33.
: In the self-timer delay, the set number of exposures will be taken at one-second intervals.
: The set number of exposures will be taken at the set time intervals.
: Since the set number of exposures will be taken at one-second inertvals, this is not a suitable combination.

desired number of exposures.
For auto exposure bracketing and flash exposure bracketing, set the number of exposures to3
For multiple exposures, set the desired number of multiple exposures.
If falsh is used, the flash recharge time may not be able to keeep up with the set number of exposures. Therefore, set the
interval timer so that the flash will have enough time to recharge between exposures.
If the number of exposures is set for the or modes, the remaining number of exposures is not displayed.
If the number of exposures is set to 00(blank setting), the number of time
interval shootings will be unlimited.

After the self-timer delay interval timer operation begins.

The set number of exposures is taken at the set intervals.
For long exposures or continuous shooting, press the release button completely and slide it in the direction of the arrow.
This locks the button in the pressed position. To release the pressed button, slide the button back to its original
position.

The Hold function is canceled by pressing the 〈 〉button for 3 sec again.
