Intended Usage
The Gold Coast® Bike Pump is intended for use in private households. It is
not intended for use in commercial or industrial environments.
Safety instructions
WARNING:
• Always read and follow the assembly and user instructions.
• This equipment must be used on a flat level surface.
• Do not over inflate the tires as this could damage the tires or pump itself
• Do not allow children to play with this product when not in use.
• Keep feet securely on the foot rests while inflating.

Operation
To pump up a tire you must use the correct valve attachment depending on
the type of valve your tire has fitted.
Schrader valves are fitted to nearly every motor vehicle tire in production,
and wider mountain bike tires. They can be identified by their wide diameter
and sprung valve core.
• To inflate a schrader valve there is no need for an adaptor.
• Simply push the clip valve over the exposed valve and clip the handle
down to engage the airflow.
• With the clip on the valve you can then pump the handle to inflate the tire
Presta Valves are narrower valves and are used on thinner rimmed bike tires.
• To inflate a tire with this valve you must first remove the adaptor from the
handle of the clip valve and screw this onto the presta valve as in the first
picture below
• With the adaptor in place you can then push the clip valve onto the end of
this adaptor and clip down to engage the airflow.
• With the clip valve in place you can then pump the handle to inflate the
tire.
Our Bike pump also comes with valve adapters to inflate footballs, airbeds
etc. These are stored in the additional valves pouch as seen in the diagram.
Warranty
This new Gold Coast product has a warranty period of 12 months beginning at the date of pur-
chase. Please retain a proof of purchase receipt or statement as proof of the purchase date.
The warranty only applies if the product is solely used in the manner indicated in the warnings
page of this manual, and all other instructions have been followed accurately. Any abuse of the
product or the manner which it is used will invalidate the warranty.
Returned goods will not be accepted unless re-packaged in its original colour box, and accom-
panied by a relevant and completed returns form. This does not affect your statutory rights.
