Introducon
The AUUDII AUDIO AMPLIFIER is design for
persons who are wanng to enhance their gold
recovery to become more successful Detectorists.
• The device delivers crystal clear audio to your
headphones or speaker enabling you to easily
discern those faint signals from small targets.
• The detector’s signals are ltered to minimise
interference from outside noise sources and
improves your ability to work comfortably for longer
periods of me, increasing the chances of nding
that gold or treasure.
• Reduces potenally loud damaging signals from
geng to both the headphones or speaker – lie
when you nd that “buried n can”.
• The AUDII is protected against excessive heat
condions.
• The higher baery voltage provides more audio
amplier output range and stability.
• Ease of use simply plug and play.

Digging up the target
Power Supply (Fig.2)
The AUDII is power by a 7.4V 2000 mAh Lithium
rechargeable baery. Included in the in the device is a
dedicated charger and baery protecon systems.
Note: The baery should be fully charged before use.
Charging from a car 12V DC outlet:
 Select the unit car charging adaptor supplied with
your kit .
 Insert the 2.1mm Female DC plug into the male
bulkhead DC ng (5).
 Plug the cigaree lighter end into the 12V DC outlet
of your car.
Charge Status Indicator: (Fig.2)
 Power ON, is displayed with a green LED (6).
 When baery is charging s red LED (6) is on.
 When fully charged the green LED will turn OFF.
You will have an 15-hour use me from a 3-4 hour
charge.
The AUDII AMP automacally adjusts to maintain
audio and detecng performance as the baery
discharges during use.

Assembly
Audio Input Cable: (Fig.2)
 Select the audio cable supplied in the kit.
 Carefully insert the female 2 pin plug into the male
2 pin input plug (1) ed to the boom panel.
 Screw the lock nut securely.
Audio Amplier Output: (Fig.1)
The AUDII provides two dedicated switchable audio
amplicaon for the use of headphones or external
speaker.
 The 6.5mm audio output jack (2) ed to the top
panel, is to be used with mini external speaker
supplied in the kit. The external speaker and hapc
transducer can be used at the same me.
ON/OFF Volume Switch: (Fig.1)
 the switch (3) is used to acvate the two audio amps
and controlling the volumes.
Headphones/speaker Switch Mode: (Fig.1)
 The toggle switch (4) is used to acvate and
switching between the two dedicated audio
ampliers supplied for the use of headphones or
External speaker.
The device is ed with a belt clip , so clip it on and it’s
ready to be used.

Setup Procedure (AUDII AMP & Metal Detector)
Once you have connected the aachment to the AUDII
AMP. Clip it to the waist band of your harness, Fallow
the next steps and you will be ready to start detecng.
 Connect the device to your detector by inserng
the 6.5mm male jack from the audio cable of the
device to your detector power pack or baery
audio output female jack.
 Next turn on both machines and let the detector
go through its tuning cycle. On the AUDII adjust
the volume of your headphones or external
speaker to a comfortable level.
 Know just adjust your threshold level and o you
go.
Note: to load is not good, but to quiet is not good
ether. You have to hear the threshold working,
so you can hear the faint targets.

Cautions

to the unit.

 To reduce the risk of damage, do not expose the
AUDII to rain or moisture.
 When charging never place the unit on dashboard of
a car. Always place it in a cool place. Lithium
baeries do not like to be abused. Explosions could
occur.

Warranty
The AUDII AMP control unit has a 1 year warranty
covering parts and labour. Refer to your online
registraon for details.
The warranty period commences from the date of
purchase.
The Gold-Tec warranty does not cover damage caused
by accident, misuse, neglect, alteraon, modicaon or
unauthorised service.
It is the responsibility of the owner to pay all transport
costs for geng the unit to Gold-Tec. The repaired unit
will be returned to the owner freight free.
Note: The warranty is not transferable. The warranty
will only be valid when the online warranty registraon
has been completed within 14 days of original purchase.
