Battery & Charging
The charging bars below the USB mode
symbol (bottom image) mean that the
camera is in USB mode and is not charging
effectively, in that case:
• Disconnect the camera and power it
off.
• Then reconnect the camera so that the
red LED light comes on (top image).
You can charge the GoPro and the BacPac
together, but they charge faster if you
charge them separately.
How to charge faster
GoPro
Battery & Charging
Disconnect the batteries from the Go Pro when you are not recording. If the
battery is connected it will discharge even when it is turned off.
Before you start recording always check if the batteries are charged!
• Power the camera and Wi-Fi off.
• Disconnect any BacPac accessories.
• Connect the camera to the USB port on the computer or USB wall charger.
• The front red LED on the camera should turn on to indicate that it is charging.
• Leave the camera powered off and charging until the front LED has turned
off.
Once the front LED turns off, the battery is fully charged. This can take up to 4
hours if the computer is used and up to 2 hours if a USB wall charger is used.
Charge before recording!
