Receiving a call
Whenanincomingcallisreceived,thephonewillringonthehandsetandthehand-
setwillshowthecallerinformation.

1.Pressthe keytoanswerthecall.

To adjust the receiver volume
1.Whenthephoneisonhook,press andthenthe[4]key.Thehandsetenters
thereceivervolumeadjustmentmode.Therearethreereceiverlevelsoflow,
mediumandhighselectionsbypressingthe[1],[2]and[3]keysrespectively.
2.Oncetheselectionkeyispressed,pressthe keyagaintostorethenew
setting.Ifthe keyispressedinstead,theoriginalreceiverlevelisrestored.
Mute Key
Tohaveaprivate,off-lineconversation,usetheMUTEfeature.Thecalleronthe
otherendofthelinecannothearyou,butyoucanhearthem.
To mute the microphone
1.Whileacallisinprogress,pressthe keyonce.TheMutesymbol( )will
appearontheLCD.
2.Pressthe keyagaintoresumeyourtelephoneconversation.
Pre-dialing (up to 18 digits)
1.WhenthephoneisOFF(notinTALKmode),enterthetelephonenumber.The
numberisdisplayedasyouenterit.Ifyouwanttocorrectawrongentrydigit,
pressthe keytoremovethelastentereddigit.
2.Afteryouhavecompletedtheentryofthetelephonenumber,pressthe keyto
switchtoTALKmodeandtheenterednumberwillbedialedautomatically.

The Phone Book memories
■Youcanstoreupto10ofyourmostfrequentlyusednumbers.
To store a number in the phone book
1.Press then toenterthememoryeditingmode.
2.Pressthe keytoscrolltooneofthe(0-9)locationsforstoringthenumber(if
thelocationshownalreadyhasanumber,thatnumbermaybeover-writtenby
thenewnumber).
3.Ifthelocationselectedalreadyhasanumberstoredandyouwanttoreplaceit,
holdthe keywillclearthestorednumber.Otherwisepress key
repeatedlytoselectanemptylocation.
4.Enterthedesiredtelephonenumber.Incaseawrongdigitisentered,pressthe
keytodeletethedigitforcorrection.Ifyouwishtoaddapause,press key
atthedesiredlocation
5.Pressthe keytostorethenewnumberintothememory.

Therearethreeshortbeepstoalertthatthebatteryisemptyandthebatteryneeds

TousetheCallerIDyoumustrstsubscribetoyournetworkServiceProvider’s
CallerIDService.Thenetworkoperatormayapplyasmallregularchargeforthis
service.IfyousubscribetoCallerIDService,youcanseeonthedisplaythecaller’s
phonenumber(unlessthenumberhasbeenwithheld).
Whenyoureceiveacall,thecaller’stelephonenumberwillappearonthedisplay.If
thecallerhaswithheldtheirnumber,theLCDwillshow“------”orempty.
Whenthereisanincomingcallandithasnotbeenanswered,theunansweredcall
willbestoredintheCallerIDListandtheNewMissedCallIconwillbedisplayed.
Whenthereisanunansweredincomingcall,thecaller’snumberisstoredinthe
CallerIDList.TheCallerIDListholdsthetelephonenumbersofthelast15unan-
sweredcalls.YoucanchecktheCallerIDListandscrollthroughthelistanddial
numbersfromthelist(describedinReviewingCallerIDListsection).Whenthereis
acallreceivedandthecallslistisfull,thentheoldestentrywillbedeleted
automaticallyfromthememory.
NoteIfthephonenumbercontainsmorethan10digits,pressthe keywilltoggle
thedisplaytodisplaythe“remaining”digits.

Whenthehandsetisatstandbymode,press keyandtheCallerIDlistofthe
last15unansweredcallswillshow.Themostrecentunansweredcallwillbeshown
asrstrecord.Theusermaypressthe keytoscrollfromthemostrecenttothe
oldest.Ifithasreachedtheoldestrecord,thedisplaywillshow“------------“.Further
pressofthe keywillgobacktotherstrecordandcontinuescrollingfromthere.
Press willexitandreturntostandbymode.
Note:

defaultsettingforthePinNumberis0000.Youcanchangeittoanyotherfourdigits
youcanremembereasily.

replacethebatteries.
Withnormalusage,yourbatteryshouldlastapproximatelyoneyear.
Caution:
• Useonlythespeciedbatterytype(AAANi-MH1.2V,550mAh).
• Onlyuserechargeablebatteries.
• Neverthrowthebatteryintoare,disassembleitorheatit.
• Donotremoveordamagethebatterycasing.
Replace the batteries
1.Slideoffthebatterycompartmentcover.
2.Removethebatteriesfromthecompartment.
