1. INTRODUCTION
T e 3700 is a microprocessor controlled conductivity and TDS
measurement instrument. T e unit utilizes a multifunction LCD to display
readings and provide feedback to t e user. Instrument configuration
utility electrode older make t e operation more convenient. It can be
used to measure t e conductivity, TDS, temperature value of t e
solution in colleges and universities, ospital, researc institutes,
environmental monitoring laboratory, industrial and mining enterprises
and ot er departments

Electrode constant, 0.01 , 0.1 ,1.0 ,10.0 could be set
according to t e electrode.
Calibration is also adjusted in CONSTANT.

"UP" button, press t e "△" to adjust t e value to rise.
Press t is button in calibration condition to c oose
t e value of t e constant.

DOWN
"DOWN" button, press t e "▽" to adjust t e value to
decline. Press t is button in calibration condition to
c oose t e value of t e constant.
ENTER
"ENTER" button, press t is button to confirm t e
previous step operation. Hold down t e "ENTER"
button w en open t e power switc can restore t e
factory Settings.

4. SETTIN AND OPERATION
4.1 The Instrument Calibration
a) Pull out BNC s ort-circuit plug from measure electrode socket.
b) Insert electrode in t e measuring electrode socket.
c) Open t e power switc , press t e “COND/TDS” button start
measurement state.
d) T e instrument adopts one point calibration met od.
Press t e "CONSTANT" button , LCD screen s owed below.
● Electrode constant, press "△" and "▽" button to c oose 0.01 ,
0.1 ,1.0 ,10.0 according to t e electrode, press "ENTER" button to confirm.
● Calibration coefficient, press "△" and "▽" button to adjust t e value
press "ENTER" button to confirm.
For example: sample value=350us/cm measure value=346us/cm
Calibration coefficient=350/346=1.011
e) Press t e "TEMP", enter into t e temperature adjustment state, t e
temperature display position, press t e "UP" key or "DOWN" key to
adjust t e temperature display numerical rising or falling, uniform
temperature display value and solution temperature, and t en press
"ENTER" button, confirm back to measure after solution temperature
measurement state.
Note: when the temperature electrode is access, "TEMP" button

doesn't work, the instrument into the automatic temperature
compensation, the temperature of the displa is the solution
f) After clean wit distilled water, t e electrode can be used to test
solution.
4.2 Measuring the value
After t e calibration of t e instrument, can be used to measure and test
solution. Immerse t e electrode in t e test solution, stirring solution wit a
glass rod, make it uniform, read t e reading of t e solution on t e LCD
screen. Press t e “COND/TDS” button if TDS need to be measured.
5. MAINTENANCE
Instruments frequently correct use and maintenance, to ensure t e
instrument normal and reliable to use, especially t e pH meter t is kind
of instrument, it as t e very ig input impedance, and using t e
environment to be often contact c emicals, so it need more reasonable
maintenance.
1, T e input port of t e instrument (measuring electrode socket) must be
kept dry and clean. W en instrument is not in use, insert t e plug of
BNC s ort-circuit outlet, to prevent dust and moisture get in.
2, W en in measuring, t e electrode wire s ould remain still, ot erwise it
will cause unstable measurement.
3, Instrument used MOS integrated circuit, so it s ould be to ensure t at
t e soldering iron ave good grounding w en in repairing.
4, W en using t e buffer solution to calibrate instruments, please ensure
t e reliability of t e buffer solution, don't make t e wrong buffer solution,
ot erwise will lead to a measurement error.

6. THE USE SITUATION OF CONDUCTIVITY SENSOR

Products manufactured by GOLDPOINT company Ltd. are guaranteed
for a period of one year from t e date of delivery. Goods for attention
under guarantee must be returned to t e factory carriage paid and, if
accepted for free repair, will be returned to t e customer’s address free
of c arge.
All sensors made by GOLDPOINT company Ltd. are t oroug ly tested
to t eir publis ed specification before delivery. As we ave no control
over t e conditions in w ic t eir sensors are used, no furt er guarantee
is given.
