tep 1.
Legs have a small side hole near
one end. For each leg, p sh end
with side hole firmly down into
a plastic foot. Side hole m st be
covered by foot. It may be
necessary to tap foot on a hard
s rface to get it all the way on.
tep 2.
Assemble headboard and long
legs. P sh open end of one long
leg onto plastic pl g nder knob
on one side of headboard.
Then p sh leg sideways so the
rectang lar pl g on lower side
of headboard goes into hole on
side of the leg.
Attach other long leg in the
same way to other side of the
headboard.
Assemble the footboard and
short legs the same way.
tep 3.
For footboard (shown at right),
insert a screw into the lowest
hole on each short leg and into
plastic footboard. For head-
board, insert screws into the
highest hole on each long leg.
Tighten screw sec rely with the
incl ded hex wrench, but do
not over-tighten.
Repeat for other three legs.
CHECK that all four legs are
securely attached to the
head- and footboards by
pulling on the legs.

Finishing Assembly
Place a standard f ll-size crib
mattressat least 271/4inches
(69 cm) wide by 515/8inches
(131 cm) long by 4 inches
(10 cm) thickon the finished
toddler bed frame. Yo r toddler
bed is now ready to se.
REMINDER: Before each se,
inspect the toddler bed for
damaged hardware, loose joints,
missing parts, or sharp edges.
tep 1.
Begin by attaching the frame
to the footboard.
Stand the footboard at one
end of the metal frame. (It
does not matter which side of
footboard faces the frame.)
Holding the footboard pright,
grasp the two side t bes as
shown and lift caref lly. Rest
the ends of the side t bes on
the footboard.
tep 2.
Insert two T-n ts thro gh the
two holes in the side t bes
and into the leg holes as
shown. Place the bolts into
the holes on the o tside of the
footboard t bes and into the
T-n ts.
tep 3.
With the Graco®name on the
headboard facing away from
the bed frame, attach the side
t bes to the legs as in Step 2
above.
After the headboard and foot-
board have been attached to
the frame, FIRMLY TIGHTEN
all eight bolts into their T-n ts
with the hex wrench.
The toddler bed will look like
ill stration.
tep 4.
Position mattress s pport
with printed side p as
shown. Fold edges down at
creases, and place on bed
so notches in edges fit over
the crossbars.
Attaching the Headboard and Footboard Attaching the Bed Rails
There are left and right bed rails.
When installed correctly, the
Graco®name on each rail will be
on the o tside of the bed.
tep 1.
With the Graco®name facing
away from the bed frame, hold
one bed rail at an angle to the
bed frame as shown. Insert the
c rved ends of the bed rail into
the slots at side of headboard.
(The c rved ends will match
the shape of the metal leg.)
tep 2.
Move bed rail toward bed
frame ntil hole at bottom of
bed rail lines p with the hole
in the center of the side rail.
P t a T-n t into the hole on the
inside of the bed, and se the
hex wrench to screw in a bolt
from the o tside.
tep 3.
Repeat on other side. Both
bed rails must be used.
REMINDER: Keep the hex
wrench in a location where
you will be able to find it if
you wish to disassemble
the bed.
