IISTRUZIONI PER L'INSTALLAZIONE E L'USO
PREMESSA
Desideriamo ringraziarvi della preferenza che
ci avete accordato con l’acquisto della nostra
macchina. Siamo certi che otterrete le migliori
soddisfazioni e garanzie se seguirete
attentamente le indicazioni contenute nel
presente manuale.
Vi informiamo inoltre che, in qualsiasi caso, il
testo su cui fare riferimento per eventuali
contestazioni od osservazioni rimane quello in
lingua originale del costruttore, ovverosia
l’Italiano.
1. GARANZIA
- La garanzia ha durata di mesi dodici (12) a
partire dalla data di acquisto
dell’apparecchiatura o parte integrante della
stessa.
- La garanzia consiste nella sostituzione delle
parti eventualmente difettose per cause ben
accertate di fabbricazione e viene applicata
direttamente dal vostro fornitore.
- La mano d’opera è sempre a carico
dell’acquirentecome pure le spese di trasporto,
imballo e rischi di trasporto.
- La garanzia è subordinata alla restituzione dei
pezzi avariati in PORTO FRANCO ed alla
contemporanea comunicazione dei dati
riguardanti il modello, il numero di matricola
ed il difetto della macchina sulla quale il
particolare era montato.
- La garanzia non si applica alle
apparecchiature che siano state danneggiate
per negligenza, errato collegamento, installo
inadatto, mancata osservanza delle istruzioni
di montaggio o impiego e comunque alterate
da personale non autorizzato. Non si applica
inoltre qualora il numero di matricola sia stato
alterato, cancellato o asportato.
- Non si applica la garanzia al seguente
materiale:
parti soggette alla normale usura quali:
componenti elettrici, motore, bobine,
contattori, resistenze ecc.
2. INTRODUZIONE
Il presente manuale è stato realizzato in modo
semplice e razionale affinché leggendolo
possiate conoscere a fondo la vostra macchina.
Si raccomanda di leggerne attentamente il
contenuto e di conservarlo unitamente alla
macchina. Le avvertenze e le attenzioni
contenute in questo manuale, non possono
coprire tutte le eventualità. E' importante tener
presente che buon senso attenzione e prudenza
sono fattori che non possono essere aggiunti
all’apparecchiatura da parte del costruttore,
ma devono essere previsti dalle persone che
effettuano l’installazione la manutenzione
e/o uso della macchina. Il costruttore non
può essere ritenuto responsabile nel caso
l'apparecchio sia utilizzato da persone non
adeguatamente qualificate e/o che non
abbiano letto il presente manuale.
Eventuali manutenzioni e/o interventi sulla
macchina devono essere eseguiti da
personale qualificato, utilizzando pezzi di
ricambio originali per la cui ordinazione
vedere paragrafi 8.4 e 10.
Le descrizioni ed illustrazioni contenute nel
presente manuale non si intendono
impegnative; la ditta pertanto si riserva il
diritto, in qualunque momento e senza
impegno, di aggiornare tempestivamente la
pubblicazione e/o di apportare eventuali
modificheadorgani,componentieaccessori,
nel caso in cui questo venga ritenuto
conveniente per un miglioramento o per
qualsiasi esigenza di carattere costruttivo o

3. PRESCRIZIONI , DIVIETI ED USI
DIVERSI DELLA MACCHINA
Durante l’uso la pulizia e la manutenzione
l'apparecchio deve essere scollegato
dall'alimentazioneelettrica.Sideveprestare
attenzione a non accedere con arnesi e tanto
meno con le mani a parti in movimento
(motore, catena). In caso di incidenti la ditta
costruttrice non si assume alcuna
responsabilità per danni all’operatore o ad
altre persone che avvengano durante l’uso,
la pulizia e la manutenzione della macchina.
L’uso di qualunque apparecchio elettrico ed
elettronico comporta l’osservanza di alcune
regole fondamentali. In particolare: non
toccare l’apparecchio con mani e piedi
bagnati o umidi. Non usare l’apparecchio a
piedi nudi , non lasciare esposto
l’apparecchio agli agenti atmosferici
(pioggia, sale, salsedine, ecc.). Non
permettere l'utilizzo dell'apparecchio a
bambini,personenonqualificate o incapaci,
nel quale caso il costruttore non può essere
ritenutoresponsabile.Nonsipossonostirare
capidi biancheria sensibili al calore conuna
temperatura troppo elevata. Non si devono
stirare capi di biancheria con uno spessore
superiore ai 5 mm o non idonei alla stiratura
con questo tipo di macchina o con una
umidità superiore a quella indicata. Non
fumarein prossimitàdellastiratriceodurante
l’uso. Non rimuovere o scavalcare i
dispositivi di sicurezza. Non lasciare nulla
sopra la parte riscaldante nemmeno a fine
stiratura in quanto la conca impiega
parecchio tempo a raffreddarsi. Poiché il
presente apparecchio ha un grado di
protezione IP20, non pulirlo con getti
d’acquanéinstallarloinzone ove potrebbe
essere soggetto a getti d’acqua diretti o
indiretti.
Nel caso di uso di fissatori chimici a
spruzzo, è necessario farne uso lontano
dalla macchina in quanto essi potrebbero
essere causa di depositi e incrostazioni.
L’utilizzatore della macchina dovrà avere
immediata disponibilità di estintori anti-
incendio secondo quanto previsto dalle
norme antiinfortuni.

4. INDICAZIONI RELATIVE AL
TRASPORTO, DISIMBALLAGGIO
ED IMMAGAZZINAMENTO
DELLA MACCHINA.
4.1 TRASPORTO MACCHINA
Ai fini di un eventuale trasporto e/o
spedizione della macchina è utile seguire
attentamenteleseguentiraccomandazioni:
Qualora si debba trasportare l’apparec-
chiaturaall’internodiunedificioutilizzare
esclusivamente l’apposito bancale o uno
equivalente;utilizzare uncarrelloelevatore
amanooppureelettrico idoneo al trasporto
di queste macchine e con capacità di
sollevamentosufficiente (vedidatitecnici).
Controllare che la stiratrice possa superare
tutti gli ostacoli es. scale, porte ecc. Non
trascinate mai la macchina per i fianchi
o per qualsiasi altra parte.
Nel caso in cui la macchina debba essere
speditautilizzareesclusivamente l’imballo
originale, che aiuta a garantire sufficiente
stabilitàalla macchina durante il trasporto.
4.2 IMMAGAZZINAMENTO
Qualora la macchina dovesse rimanere in
deposito per lungo tempo prima di essere
utilizzata, essa va lasciata all’interno del
suo imballo originale, che garantisce
un'ottima protezione. Assicurarsi inoltre
che le condizioni ambientali siano
corrispondenti a quelle indicate al

paragrafo 5.3. Nel caso in cui invece debba
rimanere ferma per lunghi periodi dopo essere
giàstatausata,verificarechesiamaterialmente
scollegata dalla rete di alimentazione elettrica
e coprirla con il sacco protettivo originale.
4.3 DISIMBALLAGGIO
1) Prima di prendere in consegna la macchina
dal trasportatore, controllare le condizioni
dell’imballo. Se il medesimo presenta danni
evidenti all’esterno, può darsi che anche la
macchina abbia subito delle conseguenze. In
tal caso sballate la macchina in presenza del
trasportatore stesso e firmate, con riserva, la
relativa bolletta di consegna. Eventuali danni
dovuti al trasporto o a un errato stoccaggio non
sono da attribuire alla casa costruttrice della
macchina.
2) Disimballate la macchina con tutte le cure
atte ad evitare di danneggiarla. Per togliere il
bancalerimuoverelevitiall’internodeifianchi
destro e sinistro.
3) In quanto parte integrante dell’apparecchio,
il presente manuale deve essere conservato ed
allegato all’apparecchio stesso qualora questo
sia ceduto ad altri.
Gli elementi dell’imballaggio (sacchetti di
plastica,polistirolo, legno, cartone, chiodiecc.)
non devono essere lasciati assolutamente alla
portatadei bambiniinquantofontidipotenziale
pericolo; essi devono essere raccolti e
conservati per eventuali futuri spostamenti
della macchina o per eventuali lunghi periodi
di fermo macchina (vedi paragrafo 4.2). Prima
di collegare l’apparecchio accertarsi che i dati
ditargacorrispondanoallecaratteristichedella
rete elettrica a cui deve essere collegata la
macchina stessa. L’apparecchio dovrà essere
destinato solo all’uso per il quale è stato
espressamente progettato.
La targhetta tecnica si trova sul lato sinistro
dietro il quadro elettrico.
5. INDICAZIONI PER LA MESSA IN
SERVIZIO DELLA MACCHINA
5.1 PRESCRIZIONI PER IL
POSIZIONAMENTO DELLA
MACCHINA
Gli unici requisiti per il posizionamento della
stiratrice sono un piano d'appoggio robusto e
livellatoe una presa di corrente in una posizione
immediatamente accessibile da parte
dell'operatore. Essendo essa a servizio
monofrontale,lasipuòancheinstallarearidosso
di una parete, lasciando libero posteriormente
uno spazio non inferiore a 15 cm.
Mettere in bolla la macchina con i piedini
facendo uso di una livella. Controllare che il
peso distribuito sui piedi sia uniforme e che
l’apparecchiatura non dondoli. Se la si sposta,
si dovrà ripetere l’operazione di livellamento.
5.2 SPAZIO NECESSARIO PER
L’INSTALLAZIONE, USO E
MANUTENZIONE MACCHINA
La stiratrice dovrà avere a disposizione lo
spazio minimo indicato nella figura 2,
rispettando una distanza minima dai muri di
15 cm.
5.3 CONDIZIONI AMBIENTALI
CONSENTITE PER IL CORRETTO
USO DELLA MACCHINA
(da far presente a chi utilizzerà la macchina)
- TIPO LOCALE: CHIUSO
- TEMPERATURA MINIMA: 10°C
- TEMPERATURA MASSIMA: 40°C
- UMIDITÀ RELATIVA: 75% U.R.
- ILLUMINAMENTO: 100 LUX (dato
valido per lo stato italiano, vista la non
omogeneità in materia di luminosità sugli
ambienti di lavoro per gli altri paesi rifarsi
alle singole leggi nazionali).
5.4 COLLEGAMENTO ELETTRICO
Gli apparecchi sono stati prodotti per
funzionare a ~230/1/50-60Hz.
Pertensionidiretediversevedere gli schemi
allegati.
L’installazione deve essere effettuata
secondo le istruzioni del costruttore da
personale professionalmente qualificato e
conformementeallenormenazionalie locali
sugli impianti elettrici vigenti nei singoli
paesi. Un’errata installazione può causare
dannia persone,animali ocose,neiconfronti
dei quali il costruttore non può essere
considerato responsabile.
Accertarsi che la tensione di alimentazione
corrisponda ai dati di targa della stiratrice,
inoltreconsiderare chelevariazionimassime
della tensione di alimentazione consentite
sono del ±10%. Assicurarsi inoltre che la
presa di collegamento alla rete elettrica sia
immediatamente accessibile e consenta
all'operatore di disinserire la spina
tempestivamente in caso di guasto o
manutenzione.

6.2 GAMMA COMPLETA DELLE
APPLICAZIONI
La stiratrice a rullo che avete acquistato è
stata progettata in modo da eseguire la
stiratura di tessuti sintetici di vario genere,
lana, cotone, lino e seta. Le temperature
devono essere opportunamente regolate
tramite il pulsante di selezione SET (pos. 3
fig. 3, pag. 35, vedi anche par. 7.1.
Funzionamento).
6.3 INFORMAZIONI
SULL’IMPIANTO ELETTRICO
L’impianto elettrico a bordo macchina è
compostodaapparecchiature di protezione
e controllo opportunamente inserite su di
una piastra nel lato sinistro della macchina
(vista da dietro). Gli schemi e le distinte
relative sono riportati successivamente.

7. INDICAZIONI RELATIVE ALL’USO
DELLA MACCHINA E ALLA
MANUTENZIONE ORDINARIA
7.1 FUNZIONAMENTO (vedi fig. 3, pag. 35)
Dal momento che la macchina è collegata alla
rete elettrica e da questa alimentata, la spia
gialla relativa al pulsante di STOP (di
spegnimento), “O”, posizione 2 della figura 3)
rimane sempre accesa, segnalando la presenza
dicorrente agli organisiaelettricicheelettronici
montati a bordo.
Accendere la macchina agendo sul pulsante di
START (di accensione, “I”, posizione 1 della
figura 3). Alla pressione del pulsante anche la
spia verde relativa si illumina, segnalando
l’avvenuta accensione della macchina.
Selezionare la temperatura di lavoro tramite
l’apposito pulsante di selezione (posizione 3
della figura 3).
Alraggiungimentodellatemperaturaimpostata,
abbassare la conca stirante premendo il pedale.
ATTENZIONE!
Con la conca in posizione alzata il rullo NON
gira: questo avviene SOLO con la conca in
pressione sullo stesso.
Si consiglia di tenere la conca alzata in fase di
riscaldamento.
IMPORTANTE!
Quando la conca è in temperatura è bene
non lasciarla in pressione sul rullo se non si
sta utilizzando la macchina, perché ciò può
determinare un precoce deteriorameno
dell'imbottitura.
PARTICOLARITA’ SULLA
REGOLAZIONE DELLA
TEMPERATURA
La temperatura di lavoro può essere
selezionata SOLO a macchina accesa e tra le 3
disponibili: 100°C, 150°C e 180°C.
All’accensione della macchina non è attiva
nessuna selezione e quindi il riscaldamento
rimane spento fino a che non si seleziona
unatemperatura di lavorotramite il pulsante
di SET (posizione 3 della figura 3).
Ad ogni pressione viene selezionata
ciclicamente una delle tre temperature,
mentre alla quarta pressione il
riscaldamento viene di nuovo disabilitato.
La scelta effettuata viene evidenziata dal
lampeggio della spia relativa alla
temperatura selezionata.
Più precisamente, la spia lampeggia fino a che
nonèstataraggiuntalatemperaturaimpostata,
dopodiché rimane accesa.
Se la temperatura della conca al momento
della selezione è già superiore alla
temperatura impostata, allora la spia si
accenderà subito in modo continuo.
Se poi la temperatura della conca è anche
superiore ad una o ad entrambe le
temperature delle selezioni superiori, allora
le spie relative lampeggeranno
velocemente, ad indicare che la temperatura
selezionata è di molto inferiore rispetto a
quella reale della conca.
La capacità di mantenere stabile la
temperatura è garantita dal controllo
elettronico, il quale, accendendo e
spegnendo frequentemente il
riscaldamento, garantisce l'uniformità di
riscaldamento.
Pertanto, il continuo “clic-clac” prodotto
dal frequente accendersi e spegnersi delle
resistenze è da ritenersi assolutamente
normale.
PER SPEGNERE LA MACCHINA
Alla pressione del pulsante di STOP (di
spegnimento, “O”, posizione 2 della figura
3), la macchina si spegne unicamente se la
conca è stata portata nella posizione alzata.
Altrimenti essa disattiverà solo il
riscaldamento, attenderà che la conca
venga sollevata e solo poi si spegnerà.
PROCEDURE IN CASO DI CADUTA
RETE
In caso di interruzione dell'alimentazione
alla macchina per qualsivoglia motivo,
questa si spegne, fermando sia la rotazione
del rullo che il controllo della temperatura.
Se mentre si sta stirando, la conca è in
pressione sul rullo e viene a mancare la
corrente,si possono presentaretresituazioni.
1) Alla nuova messa in tensione della
macchina la conca è ancora in pressione sul
rullo ed il pedale è ancora premuto. Per
esempio, manca corrente solo per qualche
secondo. In questa condizione il rullo
riprende a girare nel senso della stiratura e
tutte le spie lampeggiano. Il riscaldamento
rimane spento. Non appena si toglie il
piede dal pedale la conca si apre, il rullo
gira al contrario fino a portare la macchina
nella condizione di riposo. A questo punto
rimane accesa fissa solo la spia di presenza
retesul pulsante di “STOP”o“O”.Premere
il pulsante di “START” o “I” per ritornare
a lavorare.
2) Alla nuova messa in tensione della
macchina la conca è ancora in pressione
sul rullo ed il pedale NON è premuto. Per
esempio, è mancata la corrente per lungo
tempo e la piastra non era ancora calda e
non si stava stirando. In questa condizione
tutte le spie lampeggiano. Il riscaldamento
rimane spento. La conca si alza
immediatamente e si porta in posizione di
riposo. A questo punto rimane accesa fissa
solo la spia di presenza rete sul pulsante di
“STOP” o “O”. Premere il pulsante di
“START” o “I” per ritornare a lavorare.
3) Alla nuova messa in tensione della
macchina la conca è SBLOCCATA con il
pomello alla posizione 10 della fig. 1a
completamente aperto. Per esempio, è
mancatalacorrentementresistavastirando,
con un capo in macchina e la conca molto
calda, tanto da doverla sbloccare con il
pomello.La conca siapreperriposizionarsi
in condizione di riposo, ma il movimento
non è più parallelo al rullo. La conca si
inclina vistosamente, senza però
compromettere il futuro funzionamento
della macchina. Togliere tensione alla
macchina.
Riavvitare il pomello alla posizione 10
della figura 1a fino in fondo. Ridare
tensione alla macchina. A questo punto
rimane accesa fissa solo la spia di presenza
retesulpulsantesi“STOP”o“O”.Premere
il pulsante di “START” o “I” per ritornare
a lavorare.

1) Pomello apertura manuale della conca
in caso di mancanza di energia elettrica.
Svitare questo pomello in caso si debba
staccare la conca calda dal rullo e togliere
il capo che si stava stirando. Al ritorno
della tensione o quando la conca si sia
raffreddata, riavvitare a fondo il pomello.
2)Pomello diregolazionedell’inclinazione
dellaconca rispetto al rullo.Aconcaaperta,
ovvero in posizione di riposo, permette di
regolarel’inclinazionedelbordosuperiore
della conca stessa rispetto al rullo,
diminuendo o aumentando l’apertura utile
per l’introduzione della biancheria. Non
ha comunque alcuna influenza sul
funzionamento della macchina quando la
conca è in pressione sul rullo.
3) Foro per il bloccaggio della conca in
posizione alzata o di riposo.

Tramite l’inserimento di un utensile in questo
foro, fino alla fuoriuscita dall’altra parte del
sostegno bianco, la macchina lavora facendo
girare il rullo ma mantenendo la conca sempre
staccata dal rullo.
ATTENZIONE!
Questa operazione è necessaria SOLO per la
sostituzione della copertura completa del rullo
ed in particolare per evitare che la superficie
lisciadellaconca vada a contattodel rullo privo
di copertura. Se ciò accadesse è possibile che la
conca si danneggi irreparabilmente.
CONSIGLI SULL’UTILIZZO OTTIMALE
DELLA MACCHINA
Selezionare i capi da stirare dividendoli
secondo la loro composizione ed iniziare a
lavorare da quelli che richiedono una
temperatura più bassa per poi arrivare ai più
resistential calore aumentando mano a mano la
temperatura tramite il pulsante di selezione.
Ciò permette di iniziare un po’ prima il lavoro
ed evita di dover aspettare il raffreddamento
della conca in caso di passaggio dalle alte alle
basse temperature.
La biancheria da stirare deve avere una
umidità relativa massima del 20%.
Passiamodi seguitouna tabella indicativa sulle
temperature da impostare per i vari tipi di
tessuti e legata alla simbologia normalmente
usata dalle industrie tessili:

I capi che devono essere trattati con amido
sono da stirare come ultimi.
Accendere quindi la macchina tramite il
pulsante di START (di accensione, “I”,
posizione 1 della figura 3) e selezionare la
temperatura di lavoro tramite il pulsante SET
(posizione 3 della figura 3).
La conca si riscalda e all’accensione continua
della spia relativa alla selezione effettuata avrà
raggiunto la temperatura di lavoro. Abbassare
quindi la conca premendo la pedaliera: il rullo
inizia la rotazione.
Posizionare la biancheria da stirare sull’asse di
introduzione stendendola accuratamente;
adagiarla sul rullo in movimento il quale la
trascina verso la conca; in questo modo si
evitano inutili rischi di scottature.
Per fermare il rullo ed alzare al conca si dovrà
togliere il piede dalla pedaliera.
ATTENZIONE: STIRARE UTILIZ-
ZANDO L’INTERA SUPERFICIE DEL
RULLO.
Tale accorgimento è indispensabile per
sfruttare al meglio tutto il calore distribuito
sul rullo e per ridurre l’usura della copertura.
Consigliamo vivamente di stirare spessori di
biancheria NON superiori a quelli indicati
(5mm) in quanto logorano in tempi brevi
l’intera imbottitura del rullo.
Primadistirarequalsiasicapofareattenzione
che eventuali bottoni, cerniere, zip/zap,
fermaglie fibbie non vadanoacontattodiretto
con la conca pertanto vanno opportunamente
coperte o rivolte verso il rullo.
Nonstirare materialeconcuciturein materiale
sintetico, con disegni stampati o con parti in
plastica.
Al termine del lavoro eseguire le seguenti
operazioni:
-) lasciare ancora per qualche minuto la
conca chiusa sul rullo a temperatura bassa in
modo che la copertura perda il residuo di
umidità;
-) alzare la conca togliendo il piede dalla
pedaliera;
-) spegnere la macchina tramite il pulsante di
STOP (di spegnimento, “O”, posizione 2
della figura 3);
-) togliere tensione all’apparecchiatura.
Nelle prime ore di funzionamento può
fuoriuscire dalle feritoie della conca l'odore
causatodalcambiamentodistatodelmateriale
isolante applicato alle resistenze al fine di
contenere il calore all’interno della conca.
Tale odore non è assolutamente nocivo e
cesserà dopo alcune ore.
Qualora si interrompesse la tensione di
alimentazione generale durante la stiratura è
necessario, per evitare al telo di copertura
fastidiosi annerimenti o per salvare la
biancheria in stiratura, operare nel seguente
modo:
1) Scollegare la spina dalla presa di
alimentazione.
2) Alzare la conca girando il pomello di
arresto conca (vedi pos. 10 fig 1a).
3) Attendere che ritorni la tensione.
4) Riavvitare il pomello di arresto conca
(vedi pos. 10 fig 1a).
5) Riaccendere l’interruttore sezionatore
generale a parete.
6) Rimettere in funzione la macchina
premendo il pulsante START.
Al fine di ridurre al massimo i consumi
energetici globali della vostra lavanderia vi
consigliamosempre diprepararelabiancheria
per la stiratura con una umidità relativa della
biancheria compresa fra il 5% e 10%; mai
inferiore in quanto si potrebbero creare delle
pieghe di difficile stiratura e sarebbe
necessario (quanto assurdo) inumidirle e
passarle più volte.
7.2 RACCOMANDAZIONI
Non lasciare l’apparecchio inutilmente
inserito. SPEGNERE l’interruttore
generaledell’apparecchioquando lo stesso
non è utilizzato.
Nell’uso porre particolare attenzione a:
- Non toccare assolutamente le parti ad
elevata temperatura (bordo esterno
superioredellaconca) nemmeno al termine
della stiratura, in quanto la conca impiega
parecchio tempo a raffreddarsi.
- Fare attenzione alle mani durante la
chiusura della conca stirante e durante
l’inserimento della biancheria da stirare.
- Prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione
di pulizia o manutenzione, accertarsi che
l’interruttore generale a parete risulti
spento.
- Non inserire nell’apparecchiatura
biancheria che sia stata pulita, bagnata,
lavata o macchiata con sostanze
infiammabili o esplosive, in questo caso
procedereprima con un lavaggio adacqua.
-Tenere liquidi infiammabili lontano dalla
stiratrice e conservarli in luogo asciutto
benarieggiatoelontanodazone accessibili
a personale non addetto.
-Tenere i prodottiperlapuliziaelaceratura
della stiratrice sempre lontani dalla stessa.
7.3. INFORMAZIONI SU SISTEMI
PARTICOLARI PER L’USO E PER LA
PROTEZIONE.
Nelleprime orediutilizzoverificarequanto
segue:
- L’angolo di lavoro corretto fra
avambraccio e braccio dell’operatore
durante il lavoro deve essere di 90°; in
caso di operatori particolarmente bassi
prevedere una pedana sotto l’utilizzatore
che favorisca il raggiungimento della
condizione sopraindicata, in caso di
operatori molto alti mettere una pedana
sottolamacchina. La possibilità dilavorare
in posizione corretta garantisce
sicuramente una maggior quantità di
prodotto stirato ed una migliore stiratura.
- Ripetiamo ancora l’importanza di
utilizzare l’asse di introduzione per
preparare la biancheria ed introdurla in
modo da evitare il pericolo di scottature.
7.4 MANUTENZIONE ORDINARIA A

con uno straccio umido; non utilizzare
assolutamenteprodottiinfiammabili o abrasivi.
NON USARE MAI GETTI D’ACQUA PER
LA PULIZIA DELLA MACCHINA.
Ogni 100 ore di funzionamento è opportuno
applicare della cera antistatica sulla superficie
stirante della conca in modo da evitare
spiacevoli attriti con la biancheria e tenere
sempre pulita la conca. Le istruzioni per
l’applicazione della cera sono contenute nelle
confezioni con le quali viene venduta.
L'intervento va effettuato da personale tecnico
di assistenza autorizzato.
Ogni 100 ore di funzionamento smontare la
copertura del rullo slacciando i legacci che si
trovano infilati sotto il telo ai lati del rullo;
lavare in acqua calda il telo (prima copertura)
e mettere in ammollo con acqua fredda il
mollettone (seconda copertura). Asciugare poi
all’ombra il mollettone e lasciare il telo
leggermente umido montandolo senza stirarlo.
Lasciare sempre aperta la conca (ovverosia
distante dal rullo) alla fine della manutenzione.

8.1 ISTRUZIONI PER LA
LOCALIZZAZIONE DEI GUASTI
• In caso di non funzionamento della macchina
verificare quanto segue:
- L’interruttore sezionatore generale a
parete è inserito ed arriva tensione alla
macchina.
- I fusibili sono integri.
Una volta verificate ed eventualmente attuate
queste operazioni qualora sussistesse il difetto
chiamare il centro di assistenza autorizzato o in
alternativa il nostro rivenditore (vedi ultima
pagina del manuale).
• Se la macchina annerisce eccessivamente i
lati del rullo e al centro stira sempre meno sarà
indispensabile iniziare a stirare anche sui lati in
mododasfruttareilpiùpossibilelatemperatura
su tutta la superficie della conca; in tal modo il
rullo tornerà uniforme e si ricominceranno ad
ottenere buoni risultati di stiratura.
Una volta verificate ed eventualmente attuati
questiaccorgimenti qualorasussistesseildifetto
chiamare il centro di assistenza autorizzato o
inalternativa ilnostrorivenditore(vediultima
pagina del manuale).
• La conca scalda eccessivamente rovina la
biancheria (oppure non scalda a sufficienza):
-Verificarel’impostazionedellatemperatura
sul termostato ed assicurarsi che sia
compatibile con la biancheria che si sta
stirando.
- Verificare che con conca fredda e alzata la
macchina raggiunga la temperatura di fondo
scala in un tempo massimo di 15 minuti
Unavoltaverificateedeventualmenteattuate
questeoperazioni qualorasussistesseildifetto
chiamare il centro di assistenza autorizzato o
inalternativa ilnostrorivenditore(vediultima
pagina del manuale).
8.2 SICUREZZE
SOVRATEMPERATURA O SONDA
SCOLLEGATA
Se la sonda di temperatura non è
correttamente collegata o misura una
temperatura superiore a 210°C, le spie
relative alle tre selezioni iniziano a
lampeggiare velocemente.
La macchina rimane accesa ma il
riscaldamento ed il pulsante di selezione non
sono abilitati al funzionamento.
Per togliere l’allarme occorre spegnere e
riaccendere la macchina.
TIME-OUT CONCA ALTA
Se la conca non è stata a portata in posizione
alzata prima di spegnere la macchina con il
pulsante di STOP (di spegnimento, “O”,
posizione 2 della figura 3), tutte le spie
lampeggeranno e si spegneranno poi insieme
alla macchina nel momento in cui la conca
sarà portata nella posizione corretta.
TERMOSTATO DI SICUREZZA
La macchina, oltre al controllo elettronico
della sovratemperatura, è dotata di un
termostato di sicurezza a riarmo manuale,
che fisicamente interrompe l’alimentazione
alle resistenze in caso di sovratemperature
(vedi pos. 14 fig 1a).
BARRA SALVADITA
Contro il rischio di scottature durante
l'introduzione della biancheria vi è una barra
salvadita (vedi pos. 2 fig 1b).
FUSIBILI
Fusibili a protezione del circuito primario e
secondario del trasformatore, fusibile del
circuito ausiliario.
8.3 MANUTENZIONE PERIODICA A
CURA DEL PERSONALE TECNICO
Qualsiasi operazione di manutenzione va
effettuata dai centri di assistenza autorizzati
dei nostri rivenditori o da personale
qualificato.

Controllare la circonferenza del rullo
usando un metro da sarto. La misura dovrà
essere compresa tra i 570 mm e i 600 mm
omogeneamente su tutta la lunghezza; se
la circonferenza fosse inferiore ai 570 mm
sarà necessario ripristinare la copertura
aggiungendo a dovere lana d’acciaio e
sostituendo eventualmente il mollettone.

Ingrassare la catena.
Il motoriduttore non necessita di
manutenzione in quanto ingrassato a vita.
Le molle a gas sono esenti da

Slacciare il telo e togliere completamente
la vecchia copertura fino a raggiungere la
lamiera del rullo.
Per ripristinare la copertura del rullo,
inserire un utensile (per esempio un
cacciavite di grosso spessore) nel foro
predisposto indicato alla posizione 3 della
fig. 4, fino a che non esca dalla parte
opposta.
Così facendo, alla pressione del pedale il
rullo gira ma la conca rimane il posizione
alzata,rendendopossibileilripristino della
copertura senza danneggiare la superficie
stirante della conca.
Prendereunrotolonuovodilanadiacciaio,
con un paio di forbici tagliare
diagonalmenteun capo della lanadiacciaio
ed inserirlo sulla feritoia sul lato sinistro
del rullo.

Attenzione:
Il rullo privo di rivestimento non deve
assolutamente essere toccato dalla conca,
poichéciòladanneggerebbeinevitabilmente.
Sfruttando il movimento del rullo fare 3 strati di
lana d'acciaio e arrivati a destra, tagliare
diagonalmente la paglietta assestandola per bene
sulla testa del rullo. Durante l’avvolgimento la
paglietta deve essere tenuta ben tesa dall’inizio
alla fine dell’operazione.
Lasciare il pedale e togliere l’utensile
precedentemente infilato nell’apposito foro.
Alzare la temperatura del termostato a 100°C
elasciare girare il rullo peruna decina di minuti
affinchésiassesti la prima parte della copertura.
Attendere che la temperatura si abbassi al di
sotto dei 50°C e posizionare il mollettone.
Abbassare la conca per far avvolgere
completamente il mollettone, rialzare la conca
ed un lembo di mollettone di circa 100 mm ed
infilarviiltelocorrettamente.Iltelodeveessere
ben centrato sul rullo e inserito dalla parte più
stretta con i legacci ai lati e le cuciture rivolte
versoil basso. Lasciare girare per alcuni minuti
il rullo affinché si assesti tutta la copertura.
Tirare moderatamente i legacci fino a che il
telo risulti ben sistemato sulle testate del rullo,
quindi allacciarli e inserirli per bene sotto il
bordo del telo stesso.
8.4. RICERCA E ORDINAZIONE DEI
PEZZI DI RICAMBIO
Per l’identificazione dei codici dei pezzi di
ricambio utilizzare i disegni esplosi con relative
distinte delle parti. Una volta identificati i codici
inviareregolareordinescrittoalladittacostruttrice
indicando chiaramente il modello
dell’apparecchiatura, il numero di matricola, la
tensione di alimentazione e la frequenza oltre
naturalmentealcodiceedescrizionedellapartedi
ricambio che interessa.
9. INDICAZIONI PER LA MESSA
FUORI SERVIZIO,
SMANTELLAMENTO,
ELIMINAZIONE DELLA MACCHINA
Allorché si decida di non utilizzare più
l’apparecchiatura, si raccomanda di renderla
inoperante eliminando opportunamente i
materiali e tenendo presente quanto già detto al
paragrafo 3. In conformità alle norme per lo
smantellamento dei rifiuti vigenti nei singoli
paesi e per il rispetto dell’ambiente in cui
viviamo vi preghiamo di dividere le parti della
macchina in modo da poterle smaltire
separatamente od eventualmente recuperare
opportunamente. Tutte le parti componenti la
macchina sono assimilabili ai rifiuti solidi
urbani fatta eccezione per le parti metalliche
che comunque non figurano tra i rifiuti speciali
per la maggior parte dei paesi europei.

1. GUARANTEE
- The guarantee has a validity of twelve (12)
months from the date of purchase of the
appliance or of any integral part of it.

temperature; do not iron laundry thicker than
5 mm or unsuitable for this type of ironer, or
clothes containing humidity which exceeds
the recommended limit. Do not smoke near
the machine or during machine use. Do not
disableor ignore safety devices. Do not leave
objects on the hot parts of the appliance, not
even after switching it off, because the press
basin needs a long time to cool. Do not clean
the machine using direct or indirect water
jets, and therefore, install it far from areas
where water jets are used.
Apply ironing sprays far from the appliance,
as they could build up dirt and spots.

4. UNPACKING, HANDLING AND
STORING THE MACHINE
4.1 TRANSPORT AND HANDLING
To transport and/or handle the appliance,
carefully follow these directions:
When carrying the appliance into a
building,usethesuppliedpalletorasimilar
platform; use a manual or electric forklift
truckthathasthe required hoisting capacity
andissuitableforhandlingsuchappliances
(see technical data). Check that the ironer
can surmount any existing obstacle (e.g.
staircases, doors, etc.). Never drag the
appliance by a side or any other part.
When shipping the ironer, use only its
original packing material to ensure
sufficient stability during transportation.
4.2 STORAGE
Should the appliance be stored for a long
period before being installed, keep it in its
original package, as this guarantees
excellentprotection.Checkthatthe ambient
conditions correspond to those mentioned
in paragraph 5.3. If the ironer must stay out
of service for a long period after use, make
sure it is disconnected from the electrical
mains and cover it with its original plastic
protection bag.
4.3 UNPACKING
1) Prior to accepting the ironer from the
carrier, check that the package does not
show any damage. If it does, the machine
too may have undergone damage. In this
case, unpack the machine in the presence
of the carrier and sign the receipt with
reservation. The manufacturer assumes no
liability for any damage due to transport or
wrong storage.
2) Unpack the appliance with the utmost
care to avoid damage. Unscrew the
transport pallet from inside the right and
left side panels and then remove it.
3) Make sure that the instruction booklet is
not left in the package and lost.
Packing materials (plastic bags,
polystyrene, wood, cardboard, nails, etc.)
representa safety hazard and consequently
mustnotbe left within thereachofchildren.
Keep them for further transportation or
long-term storage (see paragraph 4.2).
Before connecting the appliance, check
that the data on the rating plate correspond
tothoseof the existing powersupplymains.
Theironermustbeusedonlyforthepurpose
it was explicitly designed for. The rating
plate is located on the left side, behind the
electrical board.
5. SETTING UP THE APPLIANCE
5.1 POSITIONING REQUIREMENTS
Theseironersneednoparticularpositioning
requirement but a flat floor. Being front-
service type, they may even be placed

against a wall, provided that a 15 cm space is
left in between.
Level the appliance by its adjustable feet using
a level tool. Check that the weight is uniformly
distributed on the feet and that the machine
does not rock. Repeat levelling after displacing
the appliance.
5.2 SPACE REQUIRED FOR

The machine must be allowed the minimum
space shown in figure 2 (page 34) and a
minimum 15 cm distance from any walls.

wool, cotton, linen, silk and different types
of synthetic fabrics. Set the appropriate
operating temperature using the SET button
(pos. 3 of fig. 3, page 35) and according to
the instructions provided in this booklet.

7. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND
ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
7.1 OPERATION (see fig. 3, page 35)
From the moment the machine is connected
with the electrical mains and is supplied
power, the STOP-button yellow light is on
(switch-off push button "O", position 2 of
figure 3). This means that the electrical and
electronicparts of themachineareenergised.
Switch the appliance on by pushing the
START button "I" position 1 of figure 3).
Thegreen warning lightwillgoontoindicate
that the machine is on.
Select ironing temperature using the SET
button (position 3 of figure 3).
When the selected temperature has been
reached, lower the basin using the pedal.
WARNING:
The roller DOES NOT revolve when the
basin is up at rest. It revolves only with the
basin down. It is advisable to keep the
basin up while warming up.
IMPORTANT: Do not leave the hot
basin down against the roller when the
machine is not being used, as this would
cause the padding to wear out untimely.
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
DETAILS
Work temperature can be selected among
the three available settings (100°C, 150°C
and 180°C) only when the machine is on.
When the machine is switched on no
selection is active, which means that the
heat will stay off until a temperature is
selected using the SET button (position 3
of figure 3).
Pressingthe SETbutton causes the display
ofthe threetemperaturesettings.The fourth
setting switches the heat off again. The
current temperature is shown by the
corresponding warning light. The light
blinks until the relevant temperature is
attained and then it stays lit.
If a temperature setting is selected when
the current temperature exceeds the value
assigned to that setting, the corresponding
warning light will skip the blinking and
will stay lit straight away. If a setting is
selected when the current temperature
exceeds one or both higher selections, the
corresponding warning lights will blink
fast to indicate that the currently selected
temperature is far lower than the present
basin temperature.
Electronic temperature control guarantees
that the temperature remains stable and
uniform through switching the heat on and
off very often. This is why a clicking
sound is frequently heard, which is
perfectly normal.
TO SWITCH THE APPLIANCE OFF
Press the STOP button (button "O",
position 2 of figure 3). The machine goes
off only if the press basin is up. Otherwise

it disables the heat and waits for the basin to be
lifted. Only then will the machine go off.
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF A POWER
FAILURE
When a power failure occurs for whatever
reason, the machine goes off stopping roller
rotation and temperature control.
If a power failure occurs when the appliance is
ironing and the press basin is down against the
roller, three types of situations may arise.
1) When power is restored to the machine the
press basin is still against the roller and the
pedal is still pressed. This may be the case
when power fails for just a few seconds.
Then the roller resumes its rotation in the
ironing direction and all warning lamps flash.
The heating system stays off.
As soon the user lifts his/her foot from the
pedal, the press basin will open, the roller will
start to revolve in the opposite direction until
the machine reaches its rest condition.
Then only the power-on lamp will stay on, on
the “STOP” or “O” button. To resume ironing,
press “START” or “I”.
2) When power is restored to the machine the
press basin is still against the roller but the
pedal is not pressed. This happens for instance
during a long power failure if the press basin is
not hot and the machine was not yet working.
In this case all warning lamps flash and the
heating system stays off. The press basin gets
up instantly and goes to rest. Then only the
power-on lamp will stay on, on the “STOP” or
“O”button.Toresumeironing,press“START”
or “I”.
3) When power is restored to the machine, the
press basin is UNLOCKED and the wheel at
position 10 of figure 1a is loosened up. This
happensfor instance ifthemachinewasironing,
the press basin was hot and a garment was
under this, after the knob was used to unlock it.
Then the press basin opens to go to rest, but its
movement is no longer parallel to the roller.
Thebasintiltsvisibly,yetthiswillnotjeopardise
machine operation at a later stage. Cut off
power. Tighten the wheel at position 10 of
figure 1a fully. Power the machine. Then only
the power-on lamp will stay on, on the “STOP”
or “O” button. To resume ironing, press
“START” or “I”.
DESCRIPTION OF FIGURE 4 (page 35)
1) Manual opening knob to be operated in
case of a power failure.
To be loosened if the press basin needs to be
lifted off the roller in order to rescue a garment
that was being.
When power is restored or when the press
basin has cooled, tighten this knob fully.
2) Slope adjusting knob to be operated to
adjust press basin incline with respect to
the roller.
When the basin is open, i.e. at rest, this knob
adjusts the slope of the upper basin edge
with respect to the roller, and decreases or
increases the opening through which the
laundry is fed into the ironer. This knob has
no influence on machine operation when
the press basin is down against the roller.
3) Basin-locking hole: to be used for
locking the basin up or at rest.
With a tool poked in this hole until it sticks
out on the other side of the white support,
the roller revolves but the press basin stays
detached from the roller.
CAUTION!
This hole is to be used only to replace the
complete roller lining, i.e. to prevent the
press basin’s smooth side from touching the
coverless roller and consequently avoid
damage to the basin itself.
TIPS FOR BEST USE OF THE
MACHINE
Sort out the laundry to be ironed according
to the type of fabric and start ironing the
laundry that needs the lowest temperature.
Gradually increase ironing temperature by
means of the temperature button and iron
themost temperature-resistantgarmentslast.
You will so spare time and avoid having to
wait for the press basin to cool down.
The relative humidity contained in the
laundry to be ironed must not exceed
20%.
Thefollowing table indicates theappropriate
temperature settings for different types of
fabrics. It also contains the symbols
commonly used in the textile industry:

Starched laundry must be ironed last.
Press the START push-button ("I" position 1
of figure 3) and select a temperature setting
using the SET button (position 3 of figure 3).
The press basin warms up. When the
corresponding temperature selection light
stays on continuously, the machine will
haveattainedthe required work temperature.
Lower the basin using the pedal. The roller
will start to revolve.
Laytheclothes to be ironed on the prompting
board and spread them properly; push them
to the revolving roller, which will drag them
in; you will thus avoid any possible burns.
To stop the roller and raise the basin, step
off the pedal.
CAUTION: WHEN IRONING, USE
THE WHOLE ROLLER SURFACE.
Thisis very importantin order todistribute
the heat uniformly on the roller and reduce
the wear of the flannel cover.
We DO NOT RECOMMEND ironing
layers of laundry that are thicker than 5
mm,as the entirerollercoverwouldquickly
wear out.
Before ironing the laundry, make sure that
buttons, zips, clasps and buckles do not
touch the press basin; cover them with a
cloth or place them inwards so that they face
the roller.
Do not iron clothes sewn with synthetic
thread, printed fabrics or garments having
plastic parts.
At the end of each working day, carry out
the following procedure:
-) Allow the roller to turn for a couple of
minutes with the basin down against the
roller and a low temperature setting, in
order to evaporate the moisture left on the
roller cover.
-) Step off the pedal to lift the press basin.
-) Switch the appliance off by the STOP
button ("O", position 2 of figure 3, page 35).
-) Cut off power supply.
During the first hours of use, the insulation
grease spread on the heating elements may
smell. This odour is harmless and will
disappear after a few hours of work.
Incaseof a powerfailure during operation,
carryout the following instructionsinorder
to prevent the roller cover from scorching
and the garments left in the ironer from
getting burnt:
1) Turn off the main circuit breaker on the
wall.
2) Lift the press basin using the basin-
locking knob (see pos. 10, fig. 1a).
3) Wait until power supply is restored.
4) Tighten the basin-locking knob back
again (see pos. 10, fig. 1a).
5) Switch the main circuit breaker on the
wall back on.
6) Start the ironer by pushing the START
button.
In order to reduce overall consumption
rates in your laundry room, it is advisable
to make the clothes ready to be ironed.
These should contain a relative humidity
between 5% and 10%. Dryer garments
would cause stubborn creases that would
consequently require dampening and
repeated ironing.
7.2 SUGGESTIONS
Do not keep the appliance on when it is not
being used. TURN OFF the main circuit
breaker on the wall when the appliance is
not being used.

During operation remember:
- Not to touch any hot part of the appliance
(upper outer edge of the basin), not even after
switching it off, because the press basin needs
a long time to cool down.
-Mindyourhandswhenthebasinisdescending
or clothes are being introduced.
- Before carrying out any cleaning or
maintenance, make sure that the main cutout
switch on the wall is switched off.
-Do notirongarmentswhich havebeencleaned,
dampened or washed with inflammable or
explosive substances. Otherwise, sluice them
out before ironing.
- Keep inflammable agents away from the
appliance. If possible, store them in a dry and
airedroomthat is not accessible to unauthorised
personnel.
- Keep cleaning agents and wax away from the
ironer itself.
7.3 SPECIAL DEVICES FOR USE AND
SAFETY
During the first work hours check that:
- The correct working angle between the
operator's arm and forearm is 90°C. If the
operator is very short, a platform should enable
the correct working position. On the contrary,
if the operator is very tall, place the appliance
on a platform. Correct working position allows
higher productivity and better ironing quality.
- Once again we wish to point out that, to avoid
burns, using the wood board when preparing
the clothes to be introduced into the ironer, is
extremely important.
7.4 ORDINARY MAINTENANCE (TO BE
CARRIED OUT BY THE OPERATOR)
BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY
MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE,
DISCONNECT THE APPLIANCE BY
THEMAIN CIRCUIT BREAKERONTHE
WALL.
The appliance does not require any particular
maintenance thanks to its ergonomic design
and to the use of reliable, high-quality parts.
Clean the external panels with a damp cloth
regularly. Do not use inflammable or abrasive
products.
DO NOT USE WATER JETS TO CLEAN
THE APPLIANCE.
After 100 hours of work, apply antistatic wax
onto the ironing surface of the basin in order to
allow the fabrics to slide through more easily
and to keep the basin clean. Follow the
instructions provided by the manufacturer,
which are indicated on the wax packaging. The
spreading of antistatic wax is reserved for the
authorised after-sales service.
After 100 hours of work, disassemble the roller
cover by undoing the strings which lie under
the cotton sheet on both sides of the roller.
Wash the sheet in warm water (outer cover)
and soak the thick flannel layer in cold water
(inner cover). Dry the flannel layer in the shade
and put the sheet back on the roller while
damp without ironing it.
After maintenance, leave the basin up in rest
position, so that it does not touch the roller.

8. EXTRAORDINARY
MAINTENANCE AND PROVISION
OF SPARE PARTS
8.1 TROUBLESHOOTING
• If the ironer is not working, check the
following:
- the main circuit breaker on the wall is
switched on and the appliance is energised.
- fuses are in good working condition.
Should failure persist, contact your
authorised after-sales service or our dealer
(see last page in this booklet).
• The ends of the roller get darker and the
centre of the roller becomes inefficient
Solution: start using the end sections, in
order to utilise the heat on the entire surface
of the basin; the roller will thus become a
uniform surface and will provide better
ironing results.
Shouldmalfunctionpersistevenaftertaking
theabove-mentioned measures, contactyour
authorised assistance centre or our dealer
(see last page in this booklet).
• Basin temperature is too high (or
insufficient) and it damages the laundry:
- check the temperature selection and make
sure it is suitable for the clothes to be ironed;
- lift the basin and lock it up and check that
the appliance reaches the top temperature
setting in 15 minutes.
If after checking or carrying out the above-
mentionedsteps failurepersists,contactyour
authorised assistance centre or our dealer
(see last page in this booklet).
8.2 SAFETY DEVICES
OVERTEMPERATURE OR
DISCONNECTED PROBE
If the temperature probe is connected
irregularly or registers a temperature
exceeding 210°C, the lights associated to
the three temperature settings will begin to
blink fast.
The machine will then remain on, but the
heat and the SET (temperature selection)
button will be disabled.
To dismiss this alarm status, switch the
appliance off and then on again.
TIME-OUT FOR PRESS BASIN UP
If the machine is turned off using the
STOP button ("O", position 2 of figures 1
and 3) and the basin is not up at rest, all
warning lights will blink and will then go
off along with the appliance as soon as the
press basin reaches its correct position.
SAFETY THERMOSTAT
The machine is fitted with and electronic
controllergoverning work temperature and
with a safety thermostat that can be reset
only manually and shuts off power supply
to the heating elements when
overtemperature events occur (see fig. 1a,
pos. 14).
FINGER SAFETY ROD
The machine is fitted with a finger-safety
rodthatkeepstheuserfromgettingscalded
(see fig. 1b, pos. 2).

BREAKER ON THE WALL.
Be very careful during maintenance. For
no reason whatsoever must safety devices
be dismissed. Always use original spare
parts. In case of doubt, call our technical
office immediately, reporting the ironer's
model and serial number as read on the
rating plate on the back of your appliance.
MONTHLY CHECK
Check the circumference of the roller by
the use of a normal flexible tape measure.
The circumference of the roller must be
between 570 mm and 600 mm and
homogeneous on the whole roller length.
Should it be less than 570 mm, add steel
wool and replace the flannel layer, if
necessary. For these operations, consult
the relevant instructions.

YEARLY CHECK
Grease the chain.
Being greased for life, the reduction motor unit
needs no maintenance.
Gassprings do notneedanymaintenanceeither.
Make sure that the connecting screws which
fastenthe power supply wires tothe connectors
and the main terminal board are tight.
PRIOR TO SWITCHING THE MAIN
CUTOUTSWITCHONTHEWALLBACK

PANELS BACK INTO PLACE.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE
REPLACEMENT OF THE ENTIRE
COVER (see fig 4 on page 35and the
relevant description on page 11)
Untie the cotton sheet and take off the entire
old cover as far as the metal sheet of the roller.
To replace the roller cover, poke a tool (e.g. a
big screwdriver) into the ad-hoc hole marked
by position 3 of fig. 4 until it sticks through.
When the tool is so inserted and the pedal is
pressed, the basin will stay lifted. This will
allow the replacement of the roller lining with
no damage to the press basin’s ironing surface.
Then take a new roll of steel-wool. Cut one end
of it diagonally with a pair of scissors and slip
it into the slot on the left side of the roller.
Attention!
While uncovered, the roller must by no
means come into contact with the basin, as
this would damage it inevitably.
Build three steel-wool layers. Having reached
the right side of the roller, cut the steel-wool
diagonally arranging it very carefully on the
head of the roller. The steel-wool must be held
tight, from the beginning to the end of this job.
Let go of the pedal and remove the tool that has
been poked into the ad-hoc hole.
Set thermostat temperature to 100°C and make
the roller turn for approximately ten minutes
until the first part of the layer has completely
settled. Wait until the temperature drops below
50°C and position the flannel layer.
Lower the basin in order to entirely wrap the
flannel layer, then raise the basin again and lift
up an edge of the flannel layer of about 100
mm, and slip the cotton sheet in correctly.
The sheet must be centred on the roller and
inserted from the narrow side. The strings must
be at the sides of the ironer, the seams facing
downwards.
Allow the roller to turn for a few minutes until
the entire cover has stretched out.
Pull the strings moderately until the sheet sits
on the heads of the roller and then tighten and
slip them under the hem of the sheet itself.
8.4 IDENTIFYING AND ORDERING
SPARE PARTS
Refer to the drawings, the exploded view of the
appliance and the spare-part list to identify the
code numbers of spare parts. Send the
manufacturer a customary written order
including the code number and description
of the spare part. Report also the model,
serial number, power supply voltage and
frequency of your appliance.
9. HOW TO DISMANTLE AND
DISPOSE OF THE APPLIANCE
When the appliance is no longer to be used,
dismantle it and dispose of the components
as indicated in paragraph 3. Sort out the
various components of the appliance in
accordancewith thewastedisposalstandards
in force in your country, so as to dispose of
them separately or recycle them
appropriately. All machine parts can be
considered as solid urban waste, except for
the metal parts which are not regarded as
special waste in most European countries.

1. GARANTIE
- La garantie a une durée de douze (12) mois à
dater de l’achat de l’appareillage ou partie
intégrante de celui-ci.
- La garantie consiste en le remplacement des
pièces éventuellement défectueuses pour des
motifs de fabrication et est appliquée
directement par votre fournisseur.
- Le coût de la main d'œuvre est toujours au
débit de l’acheteur, il en est de même pour les
frais de transport, d’emballage et les risques de
transport.
- La garantie est subordonnée à la restitution
des pièces défectueuses réexpédiées PORT
FRANC et à la communication des données
concernant le modèle, le numéro de matricule
et le défaut de la machine sur laquelle la pièce
était montée.
- La garantie n’est pas appliquée aux appareils
qui ont été endommagés suite à négligence,
branchementerroné, installation inadaptée,non
respectdesinstructionsdemontageetutilisation
ou altération par du personnel non autorisé. La
garantie n’est pas applicable si le numéro de
matricule à été altéré, effacé ou enlevé.
- La garantie ne s’applique pas au matériel
suivant: pièces exposées à l’usure courante
c’est à dire composants électriques comme
moteur, bobine, contacteur, résistances etc.

façon simple et rationnelle, pour que Vous
puissiez connaître à fond votre machine
aisément.On recommandedelireattentivement
son contenu et de le conserver avec la machine.
Les avis et les attentions, contenus dans ce
manuel, ne peuvent couvrir toutes les
éventualités;il est importantde tenir encompte
que le sens commun, l'attention et la prudence

3. PRESCRIPTIONS,
INTERDICTIONS, UTILISATIONS
DIVERSES DE L'APPAREIL
Pendant l'utilisation, le nettoyage et
l'entretien il faut faire attention à ne pas
accéder avec des outils ou avec les mains
nues dans les parties de la machine en
mouvement (moteur et chaîne). En cas
d'accidentleconstructeurnes'assumeaucune
responsabilité pour dommages à l'opérateur
ou à d'autres personnes, qui se passent
pendant l'utilisation, le nettoyage et
l'entretien de la machine.
L'utilisation de quelconque appareil
électrique et électronique comporte
l'observance de règles fondamentales. En
particulier: ne pas toucher l'appareil avec
mains ou pieds mouillés ou humides. Ne pas
utiliser l'appareil ayant les pieds nus. Ne pas
laisser exposé l'appareil aux agents
atmosphériques (pluie, sel, salinité, etc.) Ne
pas permettre que l'appareil soit utilisé par
des enfants ou par des personnes qui ne sont
pascapables, sansunesurveillanceadéquate.
Iln'est pas possiblede repasser despièces de
linge sensibles à la chaleur avec une
température trop élevée. Il ne faut pas
repasser des pièces de linge ayant une
épaisseur supérieure à 5 mm ou qui ne sont
pas conçues pour être repassées avec cette
machine ou avec une humidité supérieure à
celle qui est indiquée. Ne pas fumer auprès
de la machine ou pendant son utilisation. Ne
pasôter ni bipasser lesdispositifsdesécurité.
Nerienlaisser sur la partie chauffante, même
à la fin du repassage, car la presse emploie
beaucoup de temps pour se refroidir. Ne
jamais utiliser des jets d'eau directs ou
indirects sur la machine, faire attention à ne
pas l'installer en proximité de zones dans
lesquellescetinconvénientpeutseproduire.
Danslecasd'utilisationd'additifschimiques
de fixation il est nécessaire de les utiliser
loin de la machine, car ils pourraient être la
cause de dépôts et incrustations.

L'APPAREIL
4.1 TRANSPORT
Si l'appareil doit être transporté et/ou
expédié, il faut suivre attentivement les
recommandations ci-dessous:
Pourtransporter l'appareildanslebâtiment,
utiliserexclusivementla palette appropriée
ou une équivalente. Utiliser un élévateur à
fourche manuel ou électrique apte au
transport de ces appareils et ayant une
force d'élevage appropriée (voir données
techniques). Contrôler que l'appareil peut
passertouslesobstacles et passages étroits,
commedesescaliers,portesetc.Nejamais
entraîner l'appareil par les montants ou
autre partie de l'appareil.
Sil'appareildoit être expédié, il faut utiliser
exclusivement son emballage original, qui
garantit la stabilité suffisante à l'appareil
pendant le transport.
4.2 STOCKAGE
Si l'appareil doit rester dans le dépôt pour
une longue période avant son utilisation, il
faut le laisser dans son emballage original
pour garantir que l'appareil soit bien
protégé. Vérifier en outre, que les
conditions du milieu ambiant
correspondent à celles contenues en
paragraphe 5.3. Dans le cas que l'appareil
reste hors service pour une période
prolongée après l'utilisation, vérifier qu'il
soit débranché matériellement du réseau
électriqueet puisle couvriravec son sac de
protection original.
4.3 DÉBALLAGE
1) Avant de confirmer la réception de
l'appareil au transporteur, contrôler
attentivement l'état de l'emballage. Si
l'extérieure de l'emballage présente un

dommage, on peut supposer que en même
temps l'appareil aussi ait subi un dommage.
Dans ce cas, il faut déballer l'appareil en
présence du transporteur et signer sous réserve
le billet de livraison. Le constructeur décline
toutes responsabilités pour d'éventuelles
dommages dus au transport ou à un mauvais
stockage.
2) Enlever attentivement l'emballage de
l'appareil, en évitant absolument de
l'endommager. Pour enlever la palette de
transport, ôter les vis de l'intérieure des côtés
de droite et de gauche.
3) Vérifier que le manuel ne soit pas oublié
dansl'emballageetqu'ilnepuissepasseperdre.
Ne jamais laisser le matériau de l'emballage
(sachetsenplastique,polystyrène,bois,carton,
clous, etc.) à la portée des enfants, parce qu'il
représente une source potentielle de danger.
Recueillir et conserver l'emballage pour
d'éventuels transports de l'appareil en futur ou
pour protéger l'appareil adéquatement pendant
des périodes, où il n'est pas utilisé (voir
paragraphe4.2). Avant d'effectuer laconnexion
del'appareil,vérifierquelesdonnées techniques
sur la plaquette de l'appareil correspondent aux
caractéristiques du réseau électrique auquel
l'appareil doit être branché. L'appareil doit être
destiné exclusivement à la fonction, pour
laquelle il a été construit.
La plaquette technique se trouve sur le côté
gauche, derrière le tableau électrique.
5. INDICATIONS POUR LA
CONNEXION DE L'APPAREIL
5.1 PRESCRIPTIONS POUR LA MISE EN
PLACE
Les appareils ne présentent aucun problème
d’emplacementendehorsd’unsolbienàniveau.
Étant en outre à service mono-frontal, ils
peuvent être placés près d’une paroi à une
distance d'au moins 15cm.
Avec les pieds, mettre à niveau la machine para
la référence d'un niveau à bulle d'air. Contrôler
quelepoidsdistribué sur les pieds soit uniforme
et que l'appareil ne puisse pas bouger. Si la
machine est déplacée, refaire toute l'opération
de mise à niveau.
5.2 ESPACE NÉCESSAIRE POUR

L'appareil devra avoir à disposition l'espace
minimum indiqué dans la figure avec les

a été construit expressément pour le
repassage des tissus synthétiques des plus
divers types, la laine, le coton, le lin et la
soie. Les températures doivent être réglées
opportunémentaumoyendu bouton SET de
sélection (rep. 3 de la fig. 3, page 35) en
suivant les données indiquées dans ce
manuel.

7. INDICATIONS POUR
L'UTILISATION ET L'ENTRETIEN
DE L'APPAREIL
7.1 FONCTIONNEMENT
(voir fig. 3, page 35)
Du moment que la machine est branchée
au réseau électrique et alimentée, on verra
la lampe témoin jaune du bouton STOP
(d'arrêt"O",repère2delafigure 3)allumée,
ce qui indique que les composants
électriques et électroniques sont sous
tension.
Mettre l'appareil en marche en appuyant
sur le bouton START (de démarrage "I",
repère 1 de la figure 3). La lampe témoin
verte donc s'allume pour indiquer que
l'appareil a été mis en marche.
Réglerlatempératuredetravailenutilisant
le bouton SET (de sélection, repère 3 de la
figure 3).

Lorsque la température de travail est atteinte,
baisser la presse en utilisant le pédalier.
ATTENTION! Quand la presse est élevée le
cylindrenetournepas.Il tourne SEULEMENT
quand la presse est baissée.
Il est conseillé de tenir la presse soulevée
pendant le chauffage.
IMPORTANT!
Souleverlapressequandl'appareil se trouve
en température mais il n'est pas utilisé.
Autrement la couverture du cylindre
pourrait s'endommager prématu-rement.
DÉTAILS SUR LE RÉGLAGE DE LA
TEMPÉRATURE
Latempérature de travail peut être sélectionner
SEULEMENT avec l'appareil allumée. Il y a
trois positions de réglage disponibles: 100°C,
150°C et 180°C.
Lorsque l'appareil vient d'être allumé, aucune
sélection de la température n'est active. Il faut
donc la régler au moyen du bouton SET (de
sélection, repère 3 de la figure 3).
À chaque pression une des trois températures
est sélectionnée cycliquement, à la quatrième
pression le chauffage est à nouveau exclu.
Le choix effectué est mis en évidence par le
clignotement de la lampe témoin de la
température sélectionnée.
Plus précisément, la lampe témoin clignote
jusqu'à l'atteinte de la température réglée, en
s'allumant ensuite de façon stable.
Si la température de la presse au moment de la
sélection est déjà supérieure à celle réglée,
alors la lampe témoin s'allumera tout de suite
de façon stable.
S'ilétaitlecasd'unetempératuredelapresseplus
élevée à une ou toutes les deux sélections
supérieures, alors les lampes témoins
clignoteront rapidement pour indiquer que la
température sélectionnée est beaucoup
inférieure à celle réelle de la presse.
La capacité de maintenir stable la température
est garantie par le contrôle électronique, lequel
en allumant et éteignant fréquemment le
chauffage maintient la température uniforme.
Pour autant l'enclenchement et déclenchement
continue que l'on entend est absolument
normal.
POUR ÉTEINDRE LA MACHINE
À la pression sur le bouton de STOP
(d'extinction, “O”, repère 2 de la figure 3), la
machine s'éteint uniquement si la presse est
amenée dans sa position haute. Autrement
seulement le chauffage est désactivé, dans
l'attente que la presse soit relevée et donc de
s'éteindre.
PROCÉDURE À SUIVRE EN CAS DE
MANQUE DE COURANT
En cas de manque de courant, pour
quelconque raison, la machine s'éteint en
arrêtant la rotation du cylindre et le contrôle
de la température.
Sipendant que l’onrepasse, la presseest sous
pression sur le rouleau et une coupure de
courant a lieu, 3 cas peuvent se présenter.
1) Après la nouvelle mise en tension de la
machine, la presse est encore sous pression
sur le rouleau et la pédale est encore
enclenchée. Par exemple le courant a été
coupépendantseulementquelquessecondes.
Danscettecondition,lerouleaurecommence
à tourner dans le sens du repassage et tous les
témoinsclignotent.Le chauffage reste éteint.
Dès que l’on enlève le pied de la pédale la
presse s’ouvre, le rouleau tourne en sens
inverse jusqu’à ce que la machine se mette en
conditions de repos.
Seul le témoin de présence de ligne reste
alors allumé de façon fixe sur le bouton-
poussoir de “STOP” ou “O”. Appuyer sur le
bouton-poussoir de “START” ou “I” pour
recommencer à travailler.
2) Après la nouvelle mise en tension de la
machine, la presse est encore sous pression
sur le rouleau et la pédale N'EST PAS
enclenchée. Le courant a par exemple été
coupé pendant un long moment, la plaque
n’était pas encore chaude et l’on n’était pas
en train de repasser.
Dans cette condition, tous les témoins
clignotent.Lechauffageresteéteint.Lapresse
se lève immédiatement et se met en position
de repos.
Seul le témoin de présence de ligne reste
alors allumé de façon fixe sur le bouton-
poussoir de “STOP” ou “O”. Appuyer sur le
bouton-poussoir de “START” ou sur “I”
pour recommencer à travailler.
3) Après la nouvelle mise en tension de la
machine, la presse est DÉBLOQUÉE avec le
petit volant complètement ouvert dans la
position 10 de la fig. 1 a. Le courant a par
exemple été coupé pendant que l’on était en
train de repasser, avec un article dans la
machine et la presse très chaude, assez pour
être obligé de la débloquer avec le petit
volant. La presse s’ouvre pour se remettre en
condition de repos, mais le mouvement n’est
plus parallèle au rouleau.
La presse s’incline visiblement, sans
toutefois compromettre le fonctionnement
futur de la machine. Enlever la tension à la
machine.
Revisser le petit volant à fond dans la
position 10 de la figure 1 a. Remettre la
machine sous tension. Seul le témoin de
présence de ligne reste alors allumé de
façonfixe surlebouton-poussoirde“STOP”
ou sur “O”. Appuyer sur le bouton-poussoir
de “START” ou sur “I” pour recommencer
à travailler.

1) Pommeau d’ouverture manuelle de la
presse en cas de coupure d’électricité.
Dévisser le pommeau si l’on doit détacher
la presse chaude du rouleau et enlever
l’article que l’on est en train de repasser.
Quand le courant revient ou quand la presse
est en train de refroidir, revisser à fond le
pommeau.
2) Pommeau de réglage de l’inclinaison de
la presse par rapport au rouleau.
Avec la presse ouverte, c’est-à-dire en
position de repos, il permet de régler
l’inclinaison du bord supérieur de la presse
par rapport au rouleau en diminuant ou en
augmentantl’ouverture utile pour introduire
du linge. Il n’a cependant aucune influence
sur le fonctionnement de la machine quand
la presse est sous pression sur le rouleau.
3) Trou pour le blocage de la presse en
position relevée ou de repos.
En insérant un outil dans ce trou, jusqu’à ce
qu’il ressorte de l’autre côté du support
blanc,lamachinetravailleenfaisanttourner
le rouleau mais en maintenant toujours la
presse détachée du rouleau.
ATTENTION!
Cette opération est nécessaire
SEULEMENT pour la substitution de la
couverture complète du rouleau et en
particulierpouréviter que lasurfacelisse de
la presse ne touche le rouleau sans
couverture.Si cela arrivait,lapressepourrait
s’abîmer irrémédiablement.
CONSEILS POUR UNE UTILISATION
OPTIMALE DE LA MACHINE
Sélectionner le linge à repasser suivant leur
composition. Il est opportun de commencer
le repassage en partant par le linge le plus
délicat pour arriver au plus résistant à la
chaleur, en augmentant au fur et à mesure la
température par la poignée du thermostat.
Ceci permet de commencer un peu plus tôt
le travail et évite de devoir attendre le
refroidissement de la presse en cas de
passage d'une température élevée à une
température plus basse.
La humidité relative présente dans le
lingeàrepassernedoitpasêtresupérieure
à 20%.

Voici le tableau qui indique les températures

Les pièces amidonnées, doivent être repassées
par dernières.
Mettre l'appareil en marche en appuyant sur le
bouton START (de démarrage "I", repère 1 de
la figure 3 et régler la température de travail en
utilisant le bouton SET (de sélection, repère 3
de la figure 3).
La presse commencera à chauffer. La lampe
jaune cesse de clignoter et s’allume de façon
continue pour indiquer que la température de
travail est atteinte. Appuyer sur le pédalier
pour abaisser la presse; automatiquement le
cylindre commence à tourner.
Appuyer le linge à repasser sur la planche en
bois en l’étirant bien avec les mains.
Accompagner le linge jusqu’au cylindre, qui
prend le linge et l'entraîne automatiquement
vers la presse. De cette façon, on évite les
risques de brûlures.
Pour arrêter la rotation du cylindre et relever la
presse, enlever le pied du pédalier.
ATTENTION:INTRODUIRE LE LINGE À
REPASSEREN EXPLOITANT TOUTELA
SURFACE DU CYLINDRE. Cette mesure est
indispensable pour exploiter au mieux toute la
chaleur distribuée sur le cylindre et pour réduire
l'usure de la couverture.
Le repassage du linge ayant une épaisseur
supérieureà 5 mm est DÉCONSEILLÉ, parce
qu'il use assez rapidement tout le bourrage de
la couverture.
Avant de repasser quelconque pièce de linge,
faire attention que d'éventuels boutons, zip,
clip et broches ne soient pas à contact direct
avec la presse, elles doivent êtres couvertes ou
tournées vers le cylindre.
Ne pas repasser des tissus ayant des coutures
ensynthétiqueouavecdesdessinsenplastique.
À la fin du travail, effectuer les opérations
suivantes:
-) Laisser la presse basse et à température basse
et laisser tourner le cylindre pendant quelques
minutes, afin de faire évaporer l’humidité
absorbée durant le travail.
-) Soulever la presse en enlevant le pied du
pédalier.
-) Éteindre l'appareil au moyen du bouton
STOP (d'arrêt "O", repère 2 de la figure 3).
-) Interrompre l'alimentation électrique à
l'appareil.
Durant les premières heures d’utilisation,
l’odeur typique émise par les couches isolantes
des résistances au travers des fentes de la
presse est normale. Cette odeur n'est pas du
tout nuisible à la santé et cessera après
quelques heures de travail.
En cas de manque de courant pendant le
repassage, il faut opérer comme indiqué ci-
dessous, afin d'éviter de brûler la couverture
du cylindre et le linge, qui se trouve
éventuellement entre cylindre et presse:
1) interrompre l'alimentation électrique à
l'appareil au moyen du disjoncteur à
paroi;
2) soulever la presse en tournant la poignée
d'arrêt de la presse (voir repère 10 fig.
1a);
3) attendre, qu'il y ait de nouveau du
courant;
4) revisser la poignée d'arrêt de la presse
(voir repère 10 fig.1a);
5) rallumer le disjoncteur à paroi;
6) remettreenmarchel'appareilen poussant
sur le bouton START.
Pour réduire au maximum la consommation
énergétique globale de votre buanderie nous
Vous conseillons de toujours préparer le linge
à repasser de façon à ce qu'il conserve une
humidité relative comprise entre 5% et 10%;
desvaleursinférieuresà 5% pourraient créerle
problème de plis difficiles à repasser, avec
l'absurdité de devoir les remouiller et ensuite
les repasser plusieurs fois.
7.2 RECOMMANDATIONS
-Ne pas laisser l'appareil allumé inutilement.
ÉTEINDRE l'interrupteur général de
l'appareil, quand il n'est pas utilisé.
En l'utilisant, veuillez faire attention à:
- Absolument ne pas toucher les parties, qui
ont une haute température (bord extérieur
supérieur de la presse), même à la fin de la
phase de repassage, parce que la presse

qui ait été nettoyé, mouillé ou tâché avec des
substances inflammables ou explosives; en
ce cas procéder avant avec un lavage à l'eau.
- Tenir les liquides inflammables loin de
l'appareil et les conserver dans un lieu sec,
bien aéré et loin de zones accessibles au
personnel non spécialisé.
- Tenir les produits pour le nettoyage de la
repasseuse et pour cirer toujours loin de la
même.
7.3 INFORMATIONS SUR SYSTÈMES
PARTICULIERS POUR L'UTILISATION
ET POUR LA PROTECTION
Dans les premières heures d'utilisation,
vérifier ce qui suit:
- L'angle de travail correct entre l'avant bras
et le bras de l'opérateur pendant le travail doit
être de 90°. En cas d'opérateurs
particulièrement petits, prévoir une estrade,
qui lui permette de rejoindre la condition
de travail ci-dessus, en cas d'opérateurs
trèshauts,mettrel'estradesouslamachine.
La possibilité de travailler en position
correcte garantit sûrement une quantité
plus grande de produit repassé et un
repassage de meilleure qualité.
- Nous répétons encore l'importance
d'utiliser la planche en bois pour préparer
le linge et l'introduire de façon à éviter le
danger de brûlures.
7.4 ENTRETIEN ORDINAIRE À

agressifs ou abrasifs.

Après chaque 100 heures de
fonctionnement approximativement, la
presse doit être passée avec la cire
antistatique pour presse, qui sert à rendre
plus aisé le passage du linge et à tenir la
presse parfaitement propre. Suivre les
indications conseillées par le producteur
contenues sur l'emballage, pour une
correcte application de la cire.
Cette intervention doit être faite par le
service technique d'après vente autorisé.
Après chaque 100 heures de
fonctionnement approximativement,
démonter la couverture du cylindre en
déliant les liens qui se trouvent enfilés
sous la toile, sur les côtés du cylindre.
Laver en eau chaude la toile (première
couverture) et faire tremper le molleton
(seconde couverture) dans l'eau froide.
Essuyer à l’ombre le molleton, laisser la
toile un peu humide et la replacer sur le
cylindre sans la repasser.
À la fin de l'entretien, toujours laisser la
presse en position relevée.

8.1 INSTRUCTIONS POUR TROUVER
LES PANNES
• En cas de non fonctionnement de la machine,
contrôler ce qui suit:
- L'interrupteur général à paroi est dans la
positionalluméet la tension arrive à la machine.
- Les fusibles sont intacts.
Une fois vérifiées ces simples opérations, dans
le cas que le défaut persiste, appeler le centre
duservice après-vente autoriséouenalternative
notre revendeur (voir dernière page de ce
manuel).
• Si la machine se noirci trop sur les côtés du
cylindre et au centre le repassage est toujours
moins efficace, il est alors indispensable
commencer à repasser sur les côtés, de façon à
utiliser le plus possible la température sur toute
lasurfacedelapresse;decette façon le cylindre
retournera uniforme et on recommencera à
obtenir des bons résultats de repassage.
Une fois vérifiées ces simples opérations, dans
le cas que le défaut persiste, appeler le centre
duservice après-vente autoriséouenalternative
notre revendeur (voir dernière page de ce
manuel).
• La presse réchauffe excessivement et
endommage le linge (ou elle ne chauffe pas
suffisamment):
- Vérifier la sélection de la température et
s'assurer qu'elle soit compatible avec le linge
que l'on est en train de repasser.
- Vérifier en partant avec la presse froide et
relevée,quelamachinerejoignela température
au fond de l'échelle en un temps maximum de
15 minutes (cela est visible avec l'extinction de
la lampe témoin jaune).
Une fois vérifiées ces simples opérations, dans
le cas que le défaut persiste, appeler le centre
duservice après-vente autoriséouenalternative
notre revendeur (voir dernière page de ce
manuel).
8.2.SÉCURITÉS
SURCHAUFFE OU SONDE
DÉCONNECTÉE
Si la sonde de température n'est pas
correctement connectée ou mesure une
température plus haute que 210°C, les lampes
témoins des trois sélections commencent à
clignoter de façon rapide.
La machine reste allumée mais le chauffage et
le poussoir de sélection ne sont pas habilités à
fonctionner.
Pour remettre la machine en état de
fonctionnement il faut l'éteindre et la
rallumer.
TIME-OUT PRESSE HAUTE
Si on éteint la machine avec le poussoir de
STOP (d'extinction, "O", repère 2 de la
figure 3) et la presse n'as pas été amenée en
position levée, à ce point s'allument toutes
les lampes témoins en clignotant et elles
s'éteindront avec la machine au moment que
la presse sera positionnée correctement.
THERMOSTAT DE SÉCURITÉ
La machine, outre au contrôle électronique
de la surchauffe, est dotée d'un thermostat
de sécurité à remise en marche manuelle,
qui interrompt l'alimentation aux
résistances en cas de surchauffe (voir repère
14, figure 1a).
LATTE SAUVE-DOIGTS
Contre le risque de brûlures dans
l'introduction du linge, la machine est dotée
d'unelatte sauve doigts(voir repère 2,figure
1b).
FUSIBLES
Fusibles à protection du circuit primaire et
secondaire du transformateur, fusible à
protection du circuit auxiliaire.
8.3. ENTRETIEN EXTRAORDINAIRE À
EFFECTUER PAR LE PERSONNEL
TECHNIQUE
Quelconque opération d'entretien doit être
effectuée par les centres de service après-
vente autorisés de nos revendeurs ou par du
personnel technicien qualifié et agréé.

toujours des pièces détachées originales. En
cas de doutes consulter notre bureau
technique en nous communiquant le modèle
de l'appareil et son numéro de matricule,
données qui sont visibles sur la plaquette
signalétique, qui se trouve sur l'arrière de
l'appareil.
CONTRÔLE MENSUEL
Contrôler la circonférence du cylindre en
utilisant un mètre ruban. La mesure devra
être comprise entre 570 et 600 mm sur toute
la longueur du cylindre. Si la circonférence
étaitinférieure à 570mm, il faudraréparer la
couverture du cylindre en ajoutant de la
lained’acieretenremplaçant éventuellement
le molleton. Pour cette opération consulter
les relatives instructions.
CONTRÔLE ANNUEL
Graisser la chaîne
Le moto-réducteur ne nécessite d'aucune
manutention, car il est lubrifié à vie.
Les ressorts à gaz ne nécessitent d'aucune
manutention.
Vérifier que les vis de branchement
électriquedepuissancesur les télérupteurs
et sur la plaque à bornes d'alimentation
soient correctement serrées.

REMPLACEMENT DE LA
COUVERTURE COMPLÈTE
(voir figure 4 à la page 35et description
correspondante, page 16)
Délier la toile et enlever complètement la
vieille couverture, jusqu’à atteindre la tôle
du cylindre.
Pour rétablir la couverture du rouleau,
insérer un outil (par exemple un tournevis
degrosse épaisseur) dans letrouprédisposé
indiqué à la position 3 de la fig. 4, jusqu’à
ce qu’il ressorte de l’autre côté.
Cefaisant, après avoir appuyésurlapédale,
le rouleau tourne mais la presse reste en
position relevée, ce qui rend possible le
rétablissementde lacouverturesansabîmer
la surface repassante de la presse.
Prendre un nouveau rouleau de laine
d’acier. Avec une paire de ciseaux, couper
diagonalement un côté et le poser sur le
côté gauche en l'insérant dans les fentes du
cylindre.
Attention!
Le cylindre sans revêtement ne doit
absolumentpas êtretouchéparlapresse,
car cela peut engendrer inévitablement
des endommagements.
Insérer les trois couches de laine d'acier en
se servant du mouvement du cylindre.
Arrivés sur la droite de la machine, couper
endiagonale la laine d’acier et la placer sur
le bout du cylindre. Durant cette opération
la laine d’acier doit être tenue bien tendue
du début à la fin de l’enroulement.
Laisser la pédale et enlever l’outil
précédemment enfilé dans le trou prévu à
cet effet.
Augmenter la température du thermostat à
100°C et laisser tourner le cylindre durant
10 minutes, afin que la première partie de
la couverture se mette en place. Attendre
que la température de la presse diminue
au-dessous de 50°C et placer le molleton.
Baisser la presse et faire enrouler
complètementle molleton,releverlapresse
et une partie du molleton d'environ 100
mm et y enfiler correctement la toile.
Latoiledoit être bien centrée surlecylindre

et insérée par la partie plus étroite, avec les
liens sur les côtés et les coutures vers le bas.
Laisser tourner pour quelques minutes le
cylindre à température modérée, afin que toute
la couverture se mette en place.
Tirer doucement les liens, jusqu’à ce que la
toilesoitbien en placesur les bouts ducylindre,
les lier et bien les insérer sous le bord de la toile
même.
8.4 RECHERCHE DES PIÈCES
DÉTACHÉES
Pour l'identification des codes des pièces
détachées, utiliser les dessins en vues éclatées
avec les listes des pièces. Une fois identifiés les
codes, envoyer une commande écrite régulière
à la maison constructrice en indiquant de façon
claire le modèle de l'appareil, le numéro de
matricule, la tension d'alimentation et la
fréquence et naturellement le numéro de code
et la description de la pièce qui intéresse.
9. INDICATIONS POUR LA MISE
HORS SERVICE, LE DÉMONTAGE ET
L'ÉLIMINATION DE L'APPAREIL
Quand Vous déciderez de ne plus utiliser cet
appareil,nous recommandons de le mettre hors
de service en éliminant de façon opportune
tous les matériaux et en tenant en considération
le contenu du paragraphe 3. En conformité
avec les normes pour l'élimination des déchets
en vigueur dans Votre pays et pour le respect
du milieu ambiant dans lequel nous vivons,
nous Vous prions de séparer les parties de la
machine de façon a pouvoir les éliminer
séparément (matériaux homogènes) et/ou les
recycler opportunément. Toutes les parties qui
composent la machine sont assimilables aux
déchetsurbains,exceptionfaitepourles parties
métalliques, qui de toute façon ne figurent pas
parmi les déchets spéciaux dans la majeur
partie de pays Européens.

Aux sens de l’article 13 du décret législatif
du 25 juillet 2005, n°151 de “Application
des Directives 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE et
2003/108/CE, concernant la réduction de
l’usage de substances dangereuses dans les
équipements électriques et électroniques, et
concernant aussi l’élimination des déchets”
Le symbole de la poubelle barrée reporté
sur l’appareil indique que le produit, à la
fin de sa vie utile, doit être éliminé
séparément des autres déchets.
L’utilisateur devra donc remettre l’appareil
arrivé en fin de vie aux centres adéquats de
collecte différenciée des déchets
électroniques et électrotechniques, ou le
rendre au revendeur au moment de l’achat
d’un nouvel appareil du même type, à raison

2. EINFÜHRUNG

3. VORSCHRIFTEN, VERBOTE,
VERSCHIEDENE HINWEISE FÜR
DEN GEBRAUCH DES GERÄTES
Während des Betriebs, der Reinigung und
Wartung des Gerätes ist unbedingt darauf zu
achten, daß bewegliche Einbauteile (wie
Motor, Kette usw.) auf keinen Fall mit
Werkzeugen oder mit den Händen berührt
werden. Der Hersteller haftet bei Unfällen
nicht und kann für Verletzungen der
Bedienungsperson oder anderer Personen
während des Betriebs, der Reinigung und
Wartung des Gerätes nicht verantwortlich
gemacht werden.
Die Bedienung eines elektrischen oder
elektronischen Gerätes verpflichtet zu der
Einhaltung gewisser Grundregeln: das Gerät
nicht mit nassen oder feuchten Händen oder
Füßen berühren und nicht barfuß bedienen.
Das Gerät nicht der Witterung aussetzen
(Regen, Salz, salzhaltige Feuchtigkeit usw.).
Das Gerät darf nicht von Kindern oder
UnbefugtenohneAufsichtverwendetwerden.
Wäschestücke aus hitzeempfindlichem
Materialdürfennichtzuheißgebügeltwerden.
Wäschestücke, die dicker als 5 mm sind, und
solche, die für eine Behandlung mit diesem
Gerät nicht geeignet oder die einen höheren
Feuchtigkeitsgrad aufweisen als erlaubt ist,
dürfen nicht mit diesem Gerät gebügelt
werden. In der Nähe und bei Betrieb des
Gerätes darf nicht geraucht werden. Die
Sicherheits-einrichtungen nicht entfernen
oder überbrücken. Den beheizten Teil des
Gerätes, auch bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät
nach Arbeitsschluß, nicht als Ablage
verwenden, da sich die Bügelmulde nur
sehr langsam abkühlt. Das Gerät niemals
mit direktem oder indirektem Wasserstrahl
ab - oder bespritzen; für das Gerät einen
geeigneten Standort wählen, an dem nicht
mit Wasserstrahl gearbeitet wird.
Falls die Wäschestücke mit chemischen
Fixiermittel behandelt werden, ist darauf zu
achten, daß sie sich nicht auf der Maschine
ablagern können. Deswegen dürfen diese

4. HINWEISE FÜR TRANSPORT,
AUSPACKEN, AUFSTELLEN UND
LAGERN DES GERÄTES
4.1 TRANSPORT DES GERÄTES
Bei Transport und/oder Versand des
Gerätes, sind die folgenden Hinweise zu
befolgen:
Für den Transport des Gerätes in ein
Gebäude ist das dafür vorgesehene Gestell
oder ein geeigneter Ersatz zu verwenden.
Einen für den Transport des Gerätes
geeigneten Handhubkarren oder
Elektrohubkarren mit der nötigen
Hubleistung verwenden (siehe
"Technische Daten”). Sich vergewissern,
daß bei dem Transport des Gerätes alle
Hindernisse und Engpässe wie Treppen,
Türen usw. bewältigt werden können.
Das Gerät niemals an den
Seitenständern oder an anderen Teilen
ziehen.
Soll das Gerät verschickt werden, ist
unbedingt die Originalverpackung zu
verwenden, die dem Gerät genügend Halt
und Schutz während des Transports
verleiht.
