1. The Structure is spaced to allow standard
Grange panels to be inserted, if preferred, to
provide a screen. The distance between each of
the posts is therefore1830mm (see Fig.1).
2. The curved Beams (D) have to be fixed to the
Rafters (B). Mark the centres of the Rafter and
the Curved Beam and line up before fixing the
Curved Beam with screws (x)(see Fig.2).
3. Once this has been done, mark out the points
wherethe remaining rafters (C) will be fixed.
Two of the Rafters will locate in the top of the
posts to formasquarestructure. Therefore, two
points between the centre and the morticed
point need to be marked.
4. Beginning with two Posts for the front of the
structure, position them where they will be
fixed. Do NOT fix at this point.
5. Next, insert one of the Rafters with a Curved
Beam attached into the tops of the Posts (Fig.3).
6. The side Rafters locate within the tops of the
Posts and the Rafters with the Curved Beams
attached.
7. Locate the side Rafters into the assembled end
section, resting the free ends on the ground.
8. Assemble the other two Posts with a Rafter and
Curved Beam.
9. Locate the free ends of the side Rafters into the
Posts to create a square structure.
10.Fix the four corner points with screws (x).
11. Fix the remaining five Rafters at the points
previously marked starting at the centre.
12. Ensure the structure is vertical and square
before fixing the Posts in place (see Fig.4).
