INDOOR UNIT FRONT PANEL DISPLAY: Look here for LED display of system
status, setpoint, indoor and outdoor temperatures and malfunction codes.
NOTE: Please read the complete owner’s
manual carefully before operation.
Press to power the unit on or off.
Press to select and adjust each mode.
Press to control horizontal angle of louvers and to redirect airflow.
Press to control vertical angle of louvers and to redirect airflow.
Press to set desired room temperature.
(Adjust with “+” and “–”buttons.)
Press to display time of day or time remaining on timer.
Press to boost cooling or heating airflow.
Quickest way to reach preset temperature.
Press to select fan speed (Auto, Low, Medium-Low,
Medium, High or Ultra-High.) Auto is default.
Press to raise or lower settings including temperature and time.
Press once for slow adjustment, hold down for fast adjustment.
Press to activate; allows unit to sense temperature at
the remote controller.
Press to select one of three SLEEP modes, each offering
varying levels of comfort control while sleeping.

Press to start or stop the timer. (Adjust with“+” and“–” buttons.)

Press to run fan after cooling cycle to dry off coil and help
inhibit growth of bacteria and mildew.
Press to turn on lights on the unit’s Front Panel Display.

Press to activate QUIET mode, with Low fan speed after
10 minutes of normal operation.

QUIET MODE
Unit operates normally for ten minutes, then shifts to Low fan speed for soothing, quiet comfort.
ENERGY SAVING MODE
Automatically selects optimal fan speed to save energy in COOL and HEAT modes. Press TEMP and CLOCK simultaneously to activate.
TIME GUARD
This prevents rapid cycling of the compressor to protect the unit from damage.
INTELLIGENT DEFROST
This increases room comfort and saves energy by sensing the need for defrosting and eliminating unnecessary defrost cycles.
POWER FAILURE MODE
Your settings and parameters are stored in non-volatile memory and are retained during a power failure.
I FEEL
This function senses the temperature at the remote controller instead of at the indoor unit. It then adjusts airflow and temperature accordingly
for the ultimate in personal comfort control and energy savings.
SLEEP MODE
You design a cycle to automatically adjust room temperatures during your sleep time, to maximize comfort and reduce utility bills.
COLD BLOW PROTECTION
In heating mode, the system delays fan activation until the coil has warmed up, to prevent blowing uncomfortable cool air into the room.
PHOTOCATALYTIC FILTER
Advanced technology to improve indoor air quality and prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses.

Why does the fan continue to run even when the unit is not cooling or heating?
To maintain consistent temperatures and minimize energy-loss from constant starts and stops, the fan keeps air flowing past the thermostat.
What temperature is displayed on the remote controller?
The remote always displays your desired indoor temperature. (You may view current indoor and outdoor temperatures on the indoor unit’s
Front Panel Display.)
What happens if the remote is lost or damaged?
Use the Manual Override button to manually operate the unit. Lift up the front panel section on the indoor unit and locate the button
on the right-hand side. Press the button to turn ON the unit. (Not all functions will be available.) Press again to cancel Manual Override Mode
and transfer control back to the remote controller.
