Why Green Audio?
It’s simple stuff. After more than 20 years in the consumer electronics industry, we wondered if there were
more efficient ways to deliver the products most people use.
Green Audio was founded in 2016 with an eye toward reduced environmental impact and labour
efficiencies. We’ve developed a growing line of products to help you enjoy your leisure time at home with
minimal impact on our planet.
Our mandate is to significantly reduce environmental impact by delivering commonly used consumer
electronics products in smarter bulk packaging. We start by reducing the overall footprint of our
packages. Smaller and lighter, our packages consume less non-renewable resources to produce and
transport. If you’re going to use more than one of something, why buy them individually? Bulk packaging
reduces overall size by up to 50%.
We go further by eliminating plastic packaging altogether and by printing single colour on plain cardboard
(as opposed to retail “beauty boxes”). And we only include essential items with our products, i.e., there’s
no frivolous material inside.
Next, we make our packages easy to open, reducing installation time and saving you money. They’re also
designed to be reusable.
Finally, our “waste” is 100% recyclable cardboard. It’s easy to recycle and less likely to end up in a landfill.
Fortunately, this doesn’t require compromising quality or performance. We access the same factories and
designs as our competition, delivering competitively priced products of high value. We just like to think
we do it in a more caring way.

The Green Audio HDE 18G V2 extender kit transmits
4K60 4:4:4 HDMI and IR up to 40m (131ft.) and 1080p
HDMI and IR up to 70m (230ft.) over a single twisted
pair cable. The kit only requires power on either the
transmitter or receiver and support EDID and CEC pass-
through.

void your warranty.
• Using supplies or parts not meeting the products’ specifications may cause damage, deterioration or

Installation
1. Connect an HDMI source (such as a set top box) to the HDMI IN port of the transmitter with an HDMI
cable.
2. Connect HDBT OUT port of the transmitter to HDBT IN port of the receiver using a twisted pair cable.
3. Connect an HDMI display to HDMI OUT port of the receiver with an HDMI cable.
4. If IR control is required, perform the following:
Connect the IR emitter to the IR OUT port on either the transmitter or receiver.
Connect the IR receiver to the IR IN port on either the transmitter or receiver.
5. Connect the power adaptor to the power port of the transmitter or receiver. The other device is
powered via the twisted pair connection and does not require a separate power supply.

Troubleshooting
No image on display:
● Ensure the display device has been set to the correct input.
● Ensure the HDMI cables used for both the source/transmitter and the receiver/display are properly
connected and are working. Test the HDMI cables directly from a source to display and ensure their
operation.
● Ensure the twisted pair cable has not been damaged and that it has been terminated correctly with
T568B on both ends. A temporary length of twisted pair cable can be used for testing to ensure that the
devices are all compatible and working properly.
● Ensure proper grounding of the power supply.
● Older devices (HDMI 1.2) may have compatibility issues with different settings. It’s advised to put a re-
clocking device such as an HDMI splitter inline between the source device and extender.
Color loss or poor picture quality:
● Ensure the HDMI cables used for the source, transmitter, receiver and display are properly connected
and are of good quality. Test the HDMI cables directly from a source to display and ensure their picture
quality.
● Ensure proper grounding of the power supply.
● If the static becomes stronger or picture quality becomes worse when connecting the video connectors,
this may be due to improper grounding.
● Check the grounding and make sure all the components are properly grounded to a common ground.
Improper grounding may cause damage to the receiver.
If your problem persists after following the above troubleshooting steps, please contact your authorized
reseller or Green Audio technical support.

Warranty & Service
Green Audio Manufacturing warrants electronic products for 3 Years from time of purchase. Our Limited Warranty set forth below is
provided for Green Audio branded products (“Product”) and provided through an authorized reseller as determined by Green Audio.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from region to region.
This product, when purchased by you and delivered to you in new condition in its original container, is warranted against defects in
materials or workmanship for the period of 3 years after the initial date of purchase from an authorized reseller. Please contact
Green Audio directly should you believe a product to be defective.
Should a product be determined by Green Audio to be defective, Green Audio will, at Green Audio’s sole election, (1) repair the
product with new or comparable rebuilt parts, or (2) replace the Product with a new or refurbished Product or equivalent Product as
determined by Green Audio.
Green Audio may in the future make substitutions or design changes in the same or similar products without notice to you and
without any obligation to make the same or similar changes to your Product.
This warranty does not cover: a) malfunction resulting from use of the product other than as specified in the user manual; b)
Installation specific wiring; c) malfunction resulting from abuse or misuse of the product; d) malfunction occurring after repairs have
been made by anyone other than Green Audio or any of its authorized service representatives; e) acts of nature; f) lack of proper
maintenance; g) abnormal conditions of temperature, moisture, or corrosive matter; h) any alteration in such a manner which in
Green Audio’s judgment adversely affects the product; or i) loss of, damage to, or malfunction of the Product resulting during
shipment.
NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE, EXCEPT AS MENTIONED ABOVE, GIVEN BY ANY PERSON OR ENTITY WITH RESPECT
TO A PRODUCT SHALL BIND GREEN AUDIO. GREEN AUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF REVENUES OR PROFITS,
INCONVENIENCE, EXPENSE FOR SUBSTITUTE EQUIPMENT OR SERVICE, STORAGE CHARGES, LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA, OR ANY
OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, DIRECT, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE USE OR MISUSE OF, OR INABILITY
TO USE, A PRODUCT, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED, AND EVEN IF GREEN AUDIO HAS BEEN
ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL RECOVERY OF ANY KIND AGAINST GREEN AUDIO BE GREATER
IN AMOUNT THAN THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT SOLD BY GREEN AUDIO AND CAUSING THE ALLEGED DAMAGE. WITHOUT
LIMITING THE FOREGOING, YOU ASSUME ALL RISK AND LIABILITY FOR LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY TO YOU AND YOUR PROPERTY AND
TO OTHERS AND THEIR PROPERTY ARISING OUT OF USE OR MISUSE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE PRODUCT NOT CAUSED DIRECTLY
