FITTING THE BATTERY
CONNECTING

1. The battery ompartment slot is lo ated on the bottom of the unit.
2. Using a flat s rewdriver insert into slot and gently push, The base will pop open.
3. Insert the 3V Lithium battery (CR2032), Dia.3and refit the base over.

Connecting to a battery owered doorchime and bell ush:-
Un lip the overs from both the transmitter and your wired door hime. Ensure the batteries
are installed.
You will require a suitable length of bell wire to onne t the transmitter to the wired
door hime, whi h will need to be long enough to enable the DW070AN-C to be installed
where you require it.
A small re tangular ‘break-out’ is provided in the transmitter base through whi h bell wire
an be fed to the remote transmitter terminals.
From the wirefree transmitter, using the bell wire, onne t bell wire as shown in Dia.5.
overleaf to terminals D and C on the wired door hime. Ensure orre t orientation of the
terminals.
Connecting to an existing bell ush:-
You an keep your existing bell push, or buy a new one and still have the benefit of a portable
door hime.
Using bell wire, onne t the terminals on the wirefree transmitter to those on the wired door
push as shown in Dia.4below.
A small re tangular ‘break-out’ is provided in the transmitter base through whi h bell wire
an be fed to the remote transmitter terminals.
Test the onne tion by pressing the button on the front of the transmitter and on the original
bell push. If all of your door himes sound the wiring is orre t.
On e the system is working, fix the wirefree transmitter in a onvenient position in your
home.
As this transmitter will be positioned on a wall inside your home, it an be fixed to the wall by
either drilling through the kno kouts on the base of the unit and s rewing it in, or by simply
using a sti ky ba k pad.

from the transmitter to as ertain the overage available in your home this way you
are unlikely to miss any visitors.
