WARNING
Read all safety warnings and all instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions
may result in electric shock, re and/or serious
injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference. The term “power tool” in the warnings
refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or
battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
WORK AREA SAFETY
Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark
areas invite accidents.
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres,
such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases
or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite
the dust or fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating
a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose
control.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions.
Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of
electric shock.
PERSONAL SAFETY
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when operating a power tool. Do
not use a power tool while you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment
of inattention while operating power tools may result
in serious personal injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask,
gloves, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing
protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce
personal injuries.
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is
in the off-position before connecting to power source
and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.
Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or
energizing power tools that have the switch on invites
accidents.
Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning
the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached
to a rotating part of the power tool may result in
personal injury.
Do not over-reach. Keep proper footing and balance
at all times. This enables better control of the power
tool in unexpected situations.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery.
Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving
parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
Do not use any abrasive wheels.
Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power
tool for your application. The correct power tool will
do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was
designed.
Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn
it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled
with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and
do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or
these instructions to operate the power tool. Power
tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or
binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any
other condition that may affect the power tool’s
operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired
before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained power tools.
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with shar p cuttin g edges are
less likely to bind and are easier to control.
Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in
accordance with these instructions, taking into account
the working conditions and the work to be performed.
Use of the power tool for operations different from
those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
Ensure the switch is in the off position before inserting
battery pack. Inserting the battery pack into power
tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
Recharge only with the charger specified by the
manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of
battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with
another battery pack.
Use power tools only with specifically designated
battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may
create a risk of injury and fire.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws, or other small metal objects that can make a
connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the
battery terminals together may cause burns or fire.

Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally
occurs, flush with plenty of soap and water. If liquid
contacts eyes, immediately seek medical help. Liquid
ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
SERVICE
Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
SPECIAL SAFETY RULES
CUTTING PROCEDURES
Danger! Keep hands away from cutting area and the
blade. Keep your second hand on auxiliary handle, or
motor housing. If both hands are holding the saw, they
cannot be cut by the blade.
Do not reach underneath the workpiece. The guard
cannot protect you from the blade below the workpiece.
Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the
workpiece. Less than a full tooth of the blade teeth
should be visible below the workpiece.
Never hold piece being cut in your hands or across
your leg. Secure the workpiece to a stable platform. It
is important to support the work properly to minimize
body exposure, blade binding, or loss of control.
Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when
performing an operation where the cutting tool may
contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a
“live” wire will also make exposed metal parts of the
power tool “live” and shock the operator.
When ripping always use a rip fence or straight edge
guide. This improves the accuracy of cut and reduces
the chance of blade binding.
Always use blades with correct size and shape
(diamond versus round) of arbour holes. Blades that
do not match the mounting hardware of the saw will
run eccentrically, causing loss of control.
Never use damaged or incorrect blade washers or
bolt. The blade washers and bolt were specially
designed for your saw, for optimum performance and
safety of operation.
CAUSES AND OPERATOR PREVENTION OF
KICKBACK:
kickback is a sudden reaction to a pinched, bound or
misaligned saw blade, causing an uncontrolled saw to
lift up and out of the workpiece toward the operator;
when the blade is pinched or bound tightly by the kerf
closing down, the blade stalls and the motor reaction
drives the unit rapidly back toward the operator;
if the blade becomes twisted or misaligned in the cut,
the teeth at the back edge of the blade can dig into the
top surface of the wood causing the blade to climb out
of the kerf and jump back toward the operator.
Kickback is the result of saw misuse and/or incorrect
operating procedures or conditions and can be avoided by
taking proper precautions as given below.
Maintain a firm grip with both hands on the saw and
position your arms to resist kickback forces. Position
your body to either side of the blade, but not in line
with the blade. Kickback could cause the saw to jump
backwards, but kickback forces can be controlled by
the operator, if proper precautions are taken.
When blade is binding, or when interrupting a cut
for any reason, release the trigger and hold the saw
motionless in the material until the blade comes to a
complete stop. Never attempt to remove the saw from
the work or pull the saw backward while the blade
is in motion or kickback may occur. Investigate and
take corrective actions to eliminate the cause of blade
binding.
When restarting a saw in the workpiece, centre the
saw blade in the kerf and check that saw teeth are
not engaged into the material. If saw blade is binding,
it may walk up or kickback from the workpiece as the
saw is restarted.
Support large panels to minimise the risk of blade
pinching and kickback. Large panels tend to sag under
their own weight. Supports must be placed under the
panel on both sides, near the line of cut and near the
edge of the panel.
Do not use dull or damaged blades. Unsharpened or
improperly set blades produce narrow kerf causing
excessive friction, blade binding and kickback.
Blade depth and bevel adjusting locking levers
must be tight and secure before making cut. If blade
adjustment shifts while cutting, it may cause binding
and kickback.
Use extra caution when making a “plunge cut” into
existing walls or other blind areas. The protruding
blade may cut objects that can cause kickback.
LOWER GUARD FUNCTION
Check lower guard for proper closing before each use.
Do not operate the saw if lower guard does not move
freely and close instantly. Never clamp or tie the lower
guard into the open position. If saw is accidentally
dropped, lower guard may be bent. Raise the lower
guard with the retracting handle and make sure it
moves freely and does not touch the blade or any
other part, in all angles and depths of cut.

Check the operation of the lower guard spring. If
the guard and the spring are not operating properly,
they must be serviced before use. Lower guard may
operate sluggishly due to damaged parts, gummy
deposits, or a build-up of debris.
Lower guard may be retracted manually only for
special cuts such as “plunge cuts” and “compound
cuts”. Raise lower guard by retracting handle and as
soon as blade enters the material, the lower guard
must be released. For all other sawing, the lower
guard should operate automatically.
Always observe that the lower guard is covering the
blade before placing saw down on bench or floor. An
unprotected, coasting blade will cause the saw to walk
backwards, cutting whatever is in its path. Be aware
of the time it takes for the blade to stop after switch
is released.

This product is intended to cut wood and wood-like
products only.
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts and
the guard. Most plastics are susceptible to damage
from various types of commercial solvents and may
be damaged by their use . Use clean clean cloths to
remove dirt, dust, oil, grease,etc.
LASER SAFETY
Do not stare into beam during operation.
Do not project the laser beam directly into the eyes of
others. Serious eye injury could be caused.
Do not place the laser in a position that may cause
anyone to stare into the laser beam intentionally or
unintentionally.
Do not use optical tools to view the laser beam.
Do not operate the laser around children or allow
children to operate the laser.
Do not attempt to repair the laser device by yourself.
Do not attempt to change any parts of the laser device
by yourself.
Any repairs must only be carried out by the laser
manufacturer or authorized service agent.
Do not replace the laser with a different type.
INTENDED USE
You may use this product for cutting all types of wood
MAINTENANCE
When servicing, use only identical Greenworks Tools
replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create
a hazard or cause product damage.
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types
of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their
use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease,
etc.
Do not attempt to modify this tool or create accessories
not recommended for use with this tool.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing
of as waste. The machine, accessories
and packaging should be sorted for
environmental-friendly recycling.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR BATTERY PACK
Do not dismantle, open or shred secondary battery
pack.
Do not expose battery pack to heat or fire. Avoid
storage in direct sunlight.
Do not short-circuit battery pack. Do not store battery
pack haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may
short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other
metal objects.
Do not remove battery from its original battery pack
enclosure required for use.
Do not subject battery pack to mechanical shock.
In the event of leaking, do not allow the liquid to come
in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been
made, wash the affected area with copious amounts
of water and seek medical advice.
Do not use any charger other than that specifically
provided for use with the equipment.
Observe the plus (+) and minus (–) marks, battery and
equipment and ensure correct use.
Do not use any battery pack which is not designed for
use with the equipment.
Do not mix battery pack with different manufacture,
capacity, size or type within a device.
Keep battery pack out of the reach of children.
Seek medical advice immediately if battery pack has
been swallowed.
Always purchase the correct cell or battery for the
equipment.
Keep battery pack clean and dry.

Wipe the battery pack terminals with a clean dry cloth
if they become dirty.
Secondary battery pack need to be charged before
use. Always use the correct charger and refer to the
manufacturer’s instructions or equipment manual for
proper charging instructions.
Do not leave a battery pack on prolonged charge
when not in use.
After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary
to charge and discharge the cells or battery pack
several times to obtain maximum performance.
Secondary battery pack give their best performance
when they are operated at normal room temperature
(20 °C ± 5 °C).
Retain the original product literature for future
reference.

ФУНКЦИОНИРОВАНИЕ НИЖНЕГО ЩИТКА
■Установите нижний щиток в открытое
положение. В случае падения пилы нижний
щиток может погнуться. Поднимите нижний
щиток с помощью специального подъемного
рычага и убедитесь, что он движется свободно
и не касается лезвия или каких-либо других
деталей при любом угле наклона и любой
глубине резки.
■Проверьте работу пружины нижнего щитка.
Если щиток и пружина работают неправильно,
необходимо провести их техническое
обслуживание перед использованием.
■Всегда следите за тем, чтобы нижний щиток
закрывал лезвие, перед тем как опустить пилу
на скамейку или на пол.
