• Togliere l’alimentazione prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione all’interno dell’apparecchiatura.
• Non utilizzate l’apparecchiatura in assenza di una connessione di terra.
• Prima di connettere l’apparecchio alla rete elettrica, verificate la compatibilità di tensione e frequenza.
• Non maneggiate il prodotto con mani bagnate o in presenza di acqua.
• Controllate periodicamente che il cavo di alimentazione non sia schiacciato o danneggiato.
• Rivolgersi ad un tecnico qualificato per qualsiasi operazione di manutenzione ordinaria non descritta nel pre-
sente manuale.
1.1.2 Installaz one
• Fissate il proiettore con viti, ganci o altri supporti in grado di sostenerne il peso.
• Se fissate l’apparecchiatura ad una struttura sospesa sopra il livello del terreno, verificare che la struttura possa
sostenere almeno dieci volte il peso di tutti i dispositivi installati.
• Utilizzate un aggancio secondario, come prescritto dalla normativa vigente.
• e operazioni di installazione dell’apparecchiatura devono essere eseguite da personale competente e qualificato.
1.1.3 Protez one dagl ncend
• Non installate mai l’apparecchio su superfici normalmente infiammabili: la distanza minima deve essere di 0.5m.
• Non installate l’apparecchio in locali in cui la temperatura ambiente supera i 50° (122°F).
• Non puntate il fascio luminoso su una superficie infiammabile, in posizione fissa, da una distanza inferiore a 1m.
Spegnete immediatamente il proiettore, se il puntamento del fascio luminoso non rispetta la distanza minima
di sicurezza
• a temperatura della superficie esterna del proiettore può raggiungere 180°C, 356°F
• ampada molto calda. Prima di effettuare la sostituzione, spegnete la lampada e attendete almeno 10 minuti.

Il proiettore rientra nella classificazione di apparecchio ordinario, con grado di protezione IP20
1.2 Normative
• ’apparecchio soddisfa i requisiti della normativa EN60598-1 EN60598-2-17.
• ’apparecchio soddisfa i requisiti della direttiva 2002/95/CE (RoHS).

2.1 Imballo
Controllate attentamente il contenuto del cartone e, in caso di danni al prodotto, contattate il Vs. trasportatore.
Nell’imballaggio del presente proiettore sono contenuti i seguenti prodotti:

n° 1 manuale di istruzioni
2.2 Trasporto
a scatola di cartone non è progettata per essere usata più di una volta perciò si raccomanda vivamente l’uso
di uno dei nostri flight case per trasportare l’apparecchiatura.
3.1 Fissaggio
Il proiettore può essere utilizzato sia appoggiato a terra che fissato ad una struttura. Utilizzare il foro Ø12.5 (1/2”)
sulla forcella per fissare l’apparecchiatura.
Per agganciare il proiettore ad una struttura di supporto o americana, consigliamo l’utilizzo di ganci tipo “Ali-
scaff” fissati al proiettore mediante il foro sulla forcella.
3.2 Cavo di sicurezza
Se agganciate ARCO 2000 ad un’americana o struttura di supporto, dovete installare un cavo di sicurezza che
possa sostenere almeno 10 volte il peso dell’apparecchiatura, come prescritto dalla normativa vigente.
3.3 Orientamento del fascio di luce
Assicuratevi che ARCO 2000 venga sempre utilizzato con il portalampada rivolto verso il basso per evitare il surri-
scaldamento eccessivo che ridurrebbe la durata della lampada.
3.4 Collegamento della tensione di alimentazione
Il proiettore può funzionare con tensione di 230Vac e con frequenze di 50/60Hz
Attenzione!
• rima di collegare l’apparecchio assicuratevi che la fornitura elettrica corrisponda a quelle ammesse.
• Non installate mai l’apparecchio senza la connessione di terra.
• E’ consigliato l’uso di un interruttore magnetotermico/differenziale sulla linea di alimentazione, come prescritto
dalle norme in vigore.
• Le operazioni di cablaggio e collegamento devono essere eseguite da personale qualificato.
Attenzione!
Verificate che il gancio di montaggio (non incluso) non sia danneggiato
e che possa sostenere almeno 10 volte il peso dell’apparecchiatura.
Verificate che la struttura possa sostenere almeno 10 volte il peso dell’apparecchiatura,
dei ganci, degli equipaggiamenti ausiliari, etc.
Se l’apparecchiatura deve essere sollevata, bloccate l’accesso al di sotto dell’area di lavoro
e lavorate in modo sicuro su una piattaforma stabile.
3.0 Installazione
Attenzione!
• La responsabilità di Griven S.r.l. cessa all’atto della consegna del materiale al vettore: reclami per eventuali
danni dovuti al trasporto dovranno essere indirizzati direttamente al corriere.
• Si accettano reclami entro e non oltre i 7 giorni dal ricevimento della merce.
• Eventuali resi di materiale dovranno essere autorizzati da Griven S.r.l. ed inviati completi della documentazione
fiscale necessaria.

3.5 Installazione della lampada
• Girate la vite a scatto posta sul fondo del proiettore in corrispondenza della lente ed abbassate lentamente il
carrello portalampada
• Inserite la lampada nel portalampada, dopo averla sgrassata con l’apposita salvietta detergente
• non toccate la lampada con le dita o con stracci sporchi;
• non scuotete la lampada e non fatela urtare contro la lamiera del proiettore o altri oggetti;
• Fissate saldamente la lampada al portalampada.
• Richiudete il carrello portalampada.
4.1 Funzionamento
ARCO 2000 è un proiettore che funziona con lampada alogena da 2000W con attacco GY16. a lente PC (piano
convessa) produce un fascio di luce dai bordi ben definiti mentre la lente Fresnel permette di ottenere un fascio
di luce più soffusa.
4.2 Regolazione angolo di proiezione
a regolazione dell'angolo di proiezione avviene tramite un pomolo posto sulla parte posteriore del proiettore.
Questo pomolo è collegato ad una vite senza fine. Girando il pomolo in senso orario si otterrà la riduzione del-
l'angolo mentre girando la manopola in senso antiorario si otterrà l'aumento dell'angolo.
4.3 Telaio portagelatina
Il telaio portagelatina facilmente estraibile, è inserito nelle guide situate sulla parte anteriore. Si consiglia l'utilizzo
di filtri colore ad elevata resistenza termica.
4.4 Accessori
Il proiettore può essere utilizzato con l'ausilio del paraluce a 4 alette, fornito su richiesta.
Il paraluce può essere montato sulla parte anteriore del proiettore, inserendolo nelle guide del telaio portagela-
tina.
Per assicurare la massima funzionalità e resa ottica. si raccomanda di attenersi alle istruzioni riportate qui di seguito.
• pulite regolarmente le lenti poiché persino un sottilissimo strato di polvere può ridurre in modo sostanziale la
resa luminosa ed alterare la compattezza del fascio. Per accedere alla lente togliete la griglia di protezione si-
tuata nell'alloggiamento del telaio portagelatina.
• sostituite la lampada se ha subito danni visibili o se si è deformata a causa del calore.
• controllate i collegamenti elettrici ed in particolare la messa a terra.
• sostituite tutte le parti eventualmente danneggiate.
• sostituite le lenti se hanno subito danni visibili quali tagli, crepe e profondi graffi.
Tutti i componenti del proiettore sono disponibili come parti di ricambio presso i rivenditori Griven.
Per facilitare il lavoro del centro di assistenza ricordate di specificare il numero di serie ed il modello del proiet-
tore di cui avete richiesto i ricambi.
Attenzione!
Togliete tensione prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione sul proiettore.

a direttiva Europea 2002/96/CE sui rifiuti di apparecchiature elettroniche (RAEE), prevede che gli apparecchi
illuminanti non debbano essere smaltiti nel normale flusso dei rifiuti solidi urbani. Gli apparecchi dismessi debbono
essere raccolti separatamente per ottimizzare il tasso di recupero e riciclaggio dei materiali che li compongono
ed impedire potenziali danni per la salute e l’ambiente.
Il simbolo del cestino barrato è riportato su tutti i prodotti per ricordare gli obblighi di raccolta
separata.
Per ulteriori informazioni sulla corretta dismissione delle apparecchiature, i detentori potranno rivolgersi al servizio
pubblico preposto o ai rivenditori.

1.1 Safety information
1.1.1 Protect ng aga nst electr c shock
• Disconnect the unit from mains supply before servicing it or performing any other action.
• Always ground/earth the unit electrically.
• Before connecting the unit to power supplies, verify that operating voltage and frequency are compatible.
• Do not handle the unit with wet hands or in the presence of water.
• Check regularly that the power supply cable is not damaged or crushed.
• Apply to a qualified technician for any regular maintenance action not described in this manual.
1.1.2 Installat on
• Fix the unit with screws, hooks or any other support able to bear the weight of the unit itself.
• If the unit is fixed onto a suspended structure, this structure is supposed to bear at least ten times the weight of
all devices to be fixed.
• Use a secondary fixing tool, as prescribed by in force rules.
• The unit installation actions must be performed by a qualified staff.
1.1.3 Protect on aga nst burns and f re
• Do not install the device on flammable surface. Minimum distance from them should be 0.5 mt.
• The unit is not to be installed in places where the ambient temperature exceeds 50° (122°F).
• If the projector is in a fixed position and the beams is directed towards a flammable surface, the unit should be
kept at a minimum of 0.5 mt.
If the beam is directed to thing at a distance lower than 1 mt, please turn the lamp immediately off.
• The external temperature of the unit surface can reach 180°C (356°F).
• The lamp is very hot during operations! Wait at least for 10 minutes before changing.
1.1.4 Weather protect on
The unit is classified as an ordinary device, with an IP20 weather protection rate.
1.2 Compliance
• Product in compliance with EN60598-1 EN60598-2-17.
• Product in compliance with 2002/95/CE (RoHS).

2.1 ackaging
Check carefully the content of the box and, in case of damage, contact your forwarder immediately. The fol-
lowing items are included in the box of this unit:
n° 1 Arco 2000 C or Fresnel unit
n° 1 owner’s manual
2.2 Transport
The carton box has not been designed to be used more than once, therefore, it is recommended to use one of
our flight cases to transport the unit.
3.1 Fixing
The unit can be used both rested on floor and fixed onto a structure. Use the hole Ø12.5 (1/2”) in the bracket to
fix the unit.
To fix the unit onto a supporting structure or truss, it is suggested to use hooks type “Aliscaff”. The hooks are to be
fitted to the unit through the holes in the bracket.
3.2 Safety chain
If hooking Arco 2000 up to a truss or a supporting structure, a safety chain must be installed. This safety chain must
be able to bear at least 10 times the weight of the unit, as prescribed by in force rules.
3.3 Adjusting light beam direction
Ensure that Arco 2000 is always used with the lamp base downwards. If the position of the spotlight is reversed,
the lamp will overheat and drastically reduce lamp life.
3.4 Connection to mains power
The unit can operate with voltage of 230Vac and with frequency of 50 and 60Hz.
Warning!
• Before connecting the unit, verify that power supplies features are compatible with the unit features.
• The unit must never be installed if not grounded electrically.
• It is suggested to use a magnetothermic switch along the power supply line, as prescribed by in force rules.
• Wiring and connection actions are to be performed by a qualified staff.
Warning!
Check that the fixing hook is not damaged
and is able to bear at least 10 times the weight of the unit.
Check that the structure can bear at least 10 times the weight of
the unit, the hooks, the additional equipments, etc.
If the unit must be raised, block out the access under the working area.
Operate in safe conditions on a stable platform.
3.0 Installation
Warning!
• Griven S.r.l. liability will cease upon consignment of goods to the forwarder: claims for damage due to trans-
port must be addressed directly to the forwarder.
• Griven S.r.l. will accept claims for broken or missing goods only within seven days of receipt of the goods.
• Returns of equipment will not be accepted without prior authorization granted by Griven S.r.l. and if not duly ac-
companied by relevant shipping documents.

3.5 Lamp installation
• A captive screw is fitted on the base of the lantern. Unscrew the knob until it is free and gently pull down the
lamp tray;
• Clean the lamp with the cleaning towel and fit it carefully in the lampholder.
• avoid to touch the lamp with fingers or dirty towels;
• do not shake the lamp;
• Fix the lamp to the lampholder tightening the fixing knobs.
• Close the lamp tray.
4.1 Operation
The lamp used for Arco 2000 is a 2000W halogen lamp GY16 base.
The PC lens version gives an intense and precise beam of light, whereas the Fresnel lens provides a diffuse out-
put, giving a soft edge to the beam.
4.2 Beam angle
To adjust the beam angle turn the knob located on the rear side of the lantern.
Turning the knob clockwise will reduce the angle whereas turning it anti-clockwise will increase the angle.
4.3 Colour frame
The colour frame is fitted in the two guide slots provided on the front of the lantern.
High-temperature resistant colour filter is recommended.
4.4 Accessories
A 4-leaf barndoor is supplied as an accessory and it must be fitted in the guide slots of the colour frame.
To ensure maximum functionality and light output it is recommended to follow these instructions:
• clean lens and reflector regularly, as even a thin layer of dust can reduce the light output and scatter the beam;
to access the lens remove the safety guard located on the front part of the spotlight.
• replace the lamp if it has become damaged or it's thermally deformed;
• carefully check the electrical connections, particularly the earth connection;
• replace the lenses if they have become visibly damaged;
• replace all the damaged components
All components of the unit are available as spare parts at Griven dealers.
To make the job of assistance centres easier, specify serial number and model of the unit which spare parts are
requested for.

The European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old
lighting fixtures must not be disposed of the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be
collected separately in order to optimise the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce
the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that
when you dispose of the appliance it the must be separately collected.
Consumer should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their
old appliance.
