1.0 CONTENUTO DELL’IMBALLAGGIO
Controllate attentamente il contenuto del cartone e, in caso di danni al prodotto, contattate il Vs.
trasportatore. Nell’imballaggio del presente trasmettitore sono contenuti i seguenti prodotti:
n° 1 RADIO SIGNA TRANSMITTER;
n° 1 Foglio di Istruzioni.
GRADO DI PROTEZIONE IP65 - RADIO SIGNA TRANSMITTER è protetto contro la penetra-
zione di corpi solidi superiori ad 1mm e contro la penetrazione di getti d’acqua provenienti da tutte
le direzioni.
2.0 INSTALLAZIONE DEL TRASMETTITORE
Il trasmettitore può essere fissato con 4 viti attraverso i 4 fori passanti indicati in figura 1 (a).
’interasse della foratura, stampato nella parte posteriore della scatola principale, è 100x145 mm.
2.1 Collegamento elettrico
Apertura del trasmettitore:
Togliete il coperchio principale rimuovendo le 4 viti di fis-
saggio (b fig.1);
Per il collegamento alla rete elettrica è necessario un cavo 3
poli x 1,5 mm2di sezione minima.
Inserire un’estremità del cavo di alimentazione attraverso il
pressacavo (c fig.1), e collegatelo alla morsettiera rispettan-
do la polarità indicata (GND, Fase, Neutro).
Al fine di assicurare l’impermeabilità al prodotto, accertarsi
che il dado del pressacavo sia adeguatamente stretto.
Collegate alla rete facendo attenzione alla tensione di ali-
mentazione (230/240V - 50/60Hz).

retta messa a terra.
2.2 Collegamento del cavo di segnale DMX
Dopo aver inserito un’estremità del cavo di segnale DMX attraverso il passacavo (d fig.1), collega-
telo al morsetto rispettando la polarità indicata sull’etichetta (GND, DATA-, DATA+).
Al fine di assicurare l’impermeabilità al prodotto, accertarsi che il dado del pressacavo sia adegua-
tamente stretto.
Verificate che i fili siano correttamente collegati nel morsetto, si raccomanda inoltre di utilizzare
filo schermato 2poli + calza (Calza: GND - Polo1: Data+ - Polo2: Data-).

3.0 USO DEL TRASMETTITORE
RADIO SIGNA TRANSMITTER trasmette via radio il segnale DMX standard che riceve via
cavo. E’ possibile trasmettere i canali DMX da 1 a 18.
Significato dei dip switch: sono presenti 2 dip switch.
Il primo dip switch è riferito alla frequenza di trasmissione del segnale: se è settato su OFF, tra-
smette il segnale alla frequenza standard (10%) mentre se è settato su ON esegue una trasmissione
TEST potenziata.
Il secondo dip switch permette di variare la banda di frequenza del segnale DMX per evitare che
due gruppi di proiettori installati nelle vicinanze si disturbino a vicenda. Tutti i proiettori che rice-
vono il segnale dal trasmettitore devono essere settati con la stessa banda di frequenza.

su richiesta.

1.0 PACKING
Check carefully the content of the box and in case of damage contact your forwarder immediately.
The following items are included in the box:
n° 1 RADIO SIGNA TRANSMITTER;
n° 1 Instructions leaflet.
IP65 PROTECTION DEGREE - RADIO SIGNA TRANSMITTER is more than 1 mm solid
bodies proofed and water jets, wherever coming from, will not cause damage to the unit.
2.0 INSTALLATION
The transmitter can be fixed by 4 screws through the 4 holes as shown in pict. 1(a).
Holes dimensions, which are readable in the back side of the main box, are 100 x 145 mm.
2.1 Electrical Connection
Opening the transmitter:
Remove the main cover, by untightening the 4 fixing screws
(see b, pict.1);
A 3 poles x 1.5mm2(minimum section) is needed for con-
nection to mains supply.
Fit one end of the supply cable through the cable clip (see c,
pict.1) and connect it to the junction-box. Make sure that
GND, Phase and Neutral polarities are respected.
Ensure that the cable clip screw nut is properly tightened, so
that the unit will be dust and water proofed.
Connect the unit to power supply (230/240V - 50/60Hz).
Make sure that mains supply is correctly grounded.
2.2 DMX signal ca le connection
Fit one end of the DMX signal cable through the cable clip (see d, pict.1) and connect it to the
junction-box. Make sure that the polarity which is written on the label is respected (GND, DATA-,
DATA+).
Ensure that the cable clip screw nut is properly tightened, so that the unit will be dust and water
proofed.
Make sure that wires are correctly connected to the junction-box. It is recommended to use a 2
poles + armour shielded wire (Armour: GND, Pole 1: Data+, Pole 2: Data-).

3.0 USE OF THE TRANSMITTER
RADIO SIGNA TRANSMITTER receives via cable the DMX standard signal and transmits it via
radio. It is possible to transmit the DMX Channels from 1 to 18.
Dip switches meaning: the unit is fitted with 2 dip switches.
The first dip switch refers to the signal transmission frequency: if it is set to OFF, this dip switch
transmits a standard frequency (10%) signal. If it is set to ON, it carries out a TEST strengthened
transmission.
The second dip switch allows to change the frequency band of the DMX signal, so to avoid con-
flicts between adjacent similar devices by Griven which are running different programmes. All the
projectors which receive the signal from the transmitter must be set to the same frequency band.

All components for the RADIO SIGNA TRANSMITTER are available on request.
Griven s.r.l. is liable for the product until the unit is delivered to the shipping company: any claim
for damage occurred during transport must be addressed directly to the forwarding company.
Complaints will be accepted within 7 days from reception of the unit and no later.
Before returning any unit, authorization by Griven s.r.l. is necessary and the units must be returned
back along with the needed fiscal documents.
RADIO SIGNA TRANSMITTER warranty does not include consumables.
Exploded views, the electrical wire diagram, the electronic layout and the advertising brochure are
available on request.
