SAFETY _____________________________________
Please note the following when starting up
the appliance:
7This appliance is intended for domestic use only.
7Never use the appliance in the bath, shower
or over a washbasin full of water or with
wet hands.
7Do not immerse the appliance in water and
never allow it to come into contact with water,
even when cleaned.
7Use the appliance on clean, dry hair only. Do not treat
the skin with creams or lotions beforehand.
7The appliance is solely intended for removing hairs
at the eyebrows, neck, at the side hairlines, on the face
or in the bikini zone. Any other use is explicitly out of
the question.
7Avoid contact of the appliance with hair on the head
and eyelashes, as well as clothing, brushes, cables,
shoe laces, etc.
7Do not use the appliance if you have acne, eczema or
any other skin irritations. Do not use the appliance on
inflamed skin.
7Skin inflammations are frequently caused by
penetrating bacteria. You should therefore clean the
head of the trimmer before and after each use.
7To avoid the transfer of germs, the appliance should be
used by one person only.

7Never start up the appliance if it shows signs of visible
damage.
7Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
7You must never open up the appliance. All rights to
claim under the guarantee are invalidated for damage
caused by improper interventions.
Environmental information
This product has been made from high-quality materials
and parts, which are suitable for recycling and can be
reused.
Therefore, at the end of its life, the product must not be
disposed of in the normal domestic waste but must be
taken to a collection point for recycling electrical and
electronic appliances. This is indicated by the
symbol on the product shown on the right,
in the instructions for use or on the packaging.
Please contact your local authority to find out
where your local collection points are.
Reusing and recycling old appliances is an important
contribution to protecting our environment.
Notes on the battery
The battery – even if it does not contain heavy metals –
may not be disposed of in the domestic waste.
Used batteries must be placed in the used battery
collection containers in shops or handed in to public
bodies responsible for waste disposal.

Power supply
Run the appliance with a battery: 1 x 1.5 V, LR 03/AM
4/AAA.
1Remove housing for the
battery, to do this pull off the
handle.
2Insert battery in the housing,
ensuring correct polarity as
labelled in the battery
compartment.
3Precisely re-fit the housing.
Note
7Remove the battery if you do not use the appliance
for a lengthy time. We are unable to accept liability
for damage caused by leaking batteries.

USE __________________________________
Special features
You can use the appliance for trimming or cutting
in the following areas:
Eyebrows, protruding facial hair, hair on the upper lip,
side and rear hairline, sideburns, hair on the neck, bikini
line hair/intimate area.
Important
7Try out the appliance first on a small area, for example
on your arm. If sensitive or allergic reactions occur,
you should not use the appliance.
Switching on and off
1Pull off protective cap .
2Switch on appliance by sliding forward slide switch
.
3Switch off appliance by sliding back slide switch .
4Clean the trimmer using the brush supplied with the
appliance and replace protective cap .

USE _________________________________
Trimming hair
1Gently guide the trimmer's blade head to the
required place.
2Gently move the trimmer backwards and forwards to
cut unwanted hair.
Important
7Avoid any contact with the dense hair on your head.
Trim eyebrows
using comb attachment
The double-sided comb attachment enables you to choose
between two cutting lengths (»SHORT« = shorter and
»LONG« = longer).
1Push the comb attachment with
the required cutting length
(»SHORT« or »LONG«) over
the blades of the blade
head of the trimmer until it
latches into place.
2Gently guide the blade
head of the trimmer to the
required place with the
appropriate side of the comb
attachment.
3After use, pull the comb
attachment off the trimmer's
blade head .

INFORMATION _____________________
Cleaning and care
1After each use, remove any remaining hair from the
blade head.
2Remove any other residues using a wad of cotton
wool, wettened with cleaning alcohol and squeezed
to remove excess liquid.
Note
7Ensure the wad of cotton wool is thoroughly
squeezed, i.e. dry. Do not use any cleaning agent
other than cleaning alcohol.
Clean the blade head with water
You can clean the blade head with water.
However, you must remove it first before cleaning it.
1Remove the blade head; to do
this, slide back fastener and
lift the blade head from its
anchoring.
2Carefully clean the blade head
under running water. Then
allow the blade head to
completely dry.
3After drying, precisely refit the
blade head and push fastener
to the front.
