INJURY HAZARD
Never let chil dren use this sto ve. Superv ise children in the c ooking area at a ll times,
keeping the m at least 10 feet ( 3+ meters ) away from th e stove.
DANGER
This stove u ses a liquid press urized gas (L PG) car tridge that is hi ghly flammable an d
explosive . Use only GSI Out doors isoBu tane Fuel Car tridges of Is obutane and
Propane mi x (4 oz./110 g or 8 oz. /230 g) . Because GSI O utdoors can not assure the
quality and s afety of ot her manufact urers’ fuel ca rtridges, d o not attemp t to fit other
types or m akes of gas car tridges to th e Pinnacle Stov e. Follow this safet y
informat ion when using GSI c artridge s:
!/ Listen and s mell for leaking g as. Leaking gas i s a serious hazar d. Natural LP G is
invisible and o dorless; st rong odoran t additives ha ve been added t o the fuel mix
but can fade o ver time. Leak s are not always d etectable b y smell. Do not use t his
stove if it is l eaking, damag ed, or does not op erate prope rly.
!/ Check tha t the stove and f uel cartrid ge connectio n is secure and tig ht. If the
connect ion does not look o r feel secure, or i f you hear or smell le aking gas, do not
use stove or c artridge . Move stove to a w ell-ventilat ed area away fr om any
ignition sou rce to locate a nd stop the leak . Only check fo r leaks outdoo rs using
soapy wat er. Bubbles will for m if the soapy wa ter is poured ov er a leak. Do not try
to detect l eaks using a flame .
GENERAL FUEL CARTRIDGE SAFETY
This appliance can produce carbon monoxide
which has no odor.
Using it in an e nclosed spac e can kill you.

against def ects in mater ials and workma nship will apply if P roduct is (i ) altered in any
way, (ii) use d for purposes i nconsisten t with Produc t’s intended pu rpose or desig n, or
(iii) impro perly maintai ned. Warrant y will furthe rmore be voide d where Own er/user
(i) failed t o follow Produc t instruct ions or warnings o r (ii) subject ed Product t o misuse,

WARRANTY
!/ Only change t he cartrid ge outside and a t least 25 feet ( 7.6me ters) fro m people and
any source o f ignition.
!/ Always po sition stove o n a stable, solid lev el surface b efore using sto ve. Check
and if neces sary clean t he seals for dust , proper seat ing or any wear be fore
connect ing a new fuel car tridge to the s tove. Do not us e stove if seals ar e
damaged or worn.
!/ Keep stove a nd fuel cart ridge at least 2 5 feet (7.6 meters ) away from ot her heat
sources. I f you expose t he fuel cart ridge to high hea t, the cartr idge will explod e or
leak result ing in serious bo dily injury or dea th. This stove can ig nite combust ible
materials, f lammable liquids an d vapors crea ting a situatio n where fire, bu rns
severe injur y or death ca n result.

NOTE: As mall amount of ga s may escape w hen connec ting or disco nnecting fu el cartri dge
!/ Always ch eck for leaks af ter installin g the fuel cart ridge. If in questio n, pour soapy
water gent ly over the susp ected area (s) of th e stove and fuel c artridge . Bubbles
will form arou nd leaking are as. DON OT TEST W ITH FL AME. If any b ubbles
form, DO N OT USE the fu el cartrid ge.

Never over t ighten fuel c artridge t o stove. Ove r tightening c an damage sto ve or
cartri dge causing fue l to leak. Lea king fuel can c ause fire, burn s, severe injur y or death.
!/
Use extr eme caution w hen using st ove in temper atures bel ow freezin g. In freezin g
tempera tures O-r ings can bec ome hard and le ak fuel. Alw ays check for f uel leaks be fore
and afte r lighting sto ve. Use of a leak ing stove ca n cause fire, b urns, sever e injury or de ath.
!/ Keep childre n and pets at leas t 10 feet (3+ me ters) away f rom the stov e.
CONNECTING STOVE AND CARTRIDGE
DANGER
!/ Keep combus tible materia ls at least 4 feet (1.2 m eters) awa y from the bur ning
stove, or a st ove that you ar e in the proces s of lighting. Kee p flammable liquids a nd
vapors at le ast 25 feet (7.6 met ers) away f rom the burning s tove, or a stov e that
you are in the p rocess of light ing. This stov e can ignite comb ustible mater ials,
flammable liq uids and vapors c reating a situa tion where fir e, burns sever e injury or
death can r esult. Keep chil dren at least 10 fee t (3+ mete rs) away fro m the stove.
!/
Never at tempt lighti ng stove if fl ame adjuster v alve is left o pen. If flame a djuster val ve is
left ope n, close it imme diately and t horoughly v entilate are a before ligh ting stove . Failure
to ventilat e area can re sult in an explo sion that can c ause fire, bur ns, severe i njury or dea th.

!/ Never posi tion your head or b ody above th e stove while light ing, or cookin g.
Because s tove maintains a n almost clear blu e flame which can not easily be see n
in sun lit envir onments, plac ement of head or b ody above st ove is an unsafe
practic e that can cause f ire, burns, se vere injury or de ath.
!/ Keep childre n at least 10 feet ( 3+ meters ) away from th e stove. Never l eave a
burning or ho t stove unat tended. An un attended s tove can lead to f ire and/or a
situation w here children, p ets, or the unw ary can be bur ned, injured or kill ed.
DANGER
1/ Select a non -traffic ked, level cook ing area outdo ors and clear co oking area of
combustib le materials and f lammable liquids o r vapors.
2/
Open Pot Su pports b y rotating S tove Legs d own until the y stop. Rot ate Pot Supp ort Arm s up
until horiz ontal. Rot ate Stove L egs/P ot Suppor t Arms out fr om Burner He ad until they s top.
3/ Attach GS I Outdoors Pi nnacle Windsc reen (if using ).
4/ Place stov e assembly on a so lid, stable, eve n surface to en sure stabilit y.
5/ Orient fuel c artridge ni pple upwards o n stable surf ace away from t he stove at th e
full length o f the Fuel Line.
SETTING UP THE STOVE
1/ Hold a lit matc h or lighter flame o ver the edge of th e Burner Head .
2/ Open Flame A djuster Valve ( 3/4 turn) t o release and igni te fuel.
3/ Exting uish match or light er responsibl y.
4/ Turn Flame Adjus ter Valve to desir ed flame set ting.
LIGHTING THE STOVE
1/ Add food or liq uid to cookwa re.
2/ Place cook ware onto th e center of the s tove.
3/ Turn Flame Adjus ter Valve to adjus t heat. (app rox. 1/4 turn fo r optimum eff iciency)
USING THE STOVE TO COOK
!/ Never move a b urning or hot st ove. Always e xtinguish sto ve and cool bef ore
moving. Mo ving a burning or ho t stove can cau se fire, burns, s evere injury o r death.
!/ Never use an y cookware w ith a diameter la rger than 9.5 inc hes (24.2 cm ) and
height grea ter than 6 inche s (15.2 cm) or stove-t op ovens with a h eat retenti on
feature w ith this stove ; doing so can cau se the cart ridge to explod e resulting in
serious bod ily injury or dea th.
!/ Reflect ed heat can ove rheat the fue l cartridge . Never place and oper ate two or
more stov es together. Nev er operate s tove with emp ty or dry coo kware. Use o f
stove in any o f the proceed ing manners can r esult in the fue l cartridge e xploding
and causing fi re, burns, seve re injury or dea th.
!/ Never use co okware tha t is not flat on the b ottom. Use of sto ve with damag ed
and/or in appropriat e cookware c an result in cook ware and/ or stove inst ability
resulting in a s ituation whe re hot cookw are and/or c ookware co ntents can ea sily
spill causing fi re, burns, seve r injury or deat h.
DANGER
1/ Follow inst ructions as de scribed in “Co nnecting Sto ve And Cart ridge“, “Settin g Up
The Stove” a nd “Lighting T he Stove”.
2/ After bur ning for 30 sec onds, reduce f lame to minimum flam e height and inver t
cartrid ge for improve d perform ance in cold condi tions.
NOTE: Becau se of change in pr essure, flame w ill increase dra matically.
3/ Turn Flame Adjus ter Valve to adjus t heat.
USING THE STOVE IN LIQUID FEED MODE
!/ Never move a b urning or hot st ove. Always e xtinguish sto ve and cool bef ore
moving. Mo ving a burning or ho t stove can cau se fire, burns, s evere injury o r death.
!/ Never use an y cookware w ith a diameter la rger than 9.5 inc hes (24.2 cm ) and
height grea ter than 6 inche s (15.2 cm) or stove-t op ovens with a h eat retenti on
feature w ith this stove ; doing so can cau se the cart ridge to explod e resulting in
serious bod ily injury or dea th.

by grasping t he valve body ( counter clo ckwise rot ation).
4/ After th e stove has comp letely cooled f old Flame Adjus ter and close Pot S upports.
5/ Store in sto rage sack or a cle an dry enviro nment.
NOTE:
A small amount o f gas may esca pe when conn ecting or dis connectin g fuel cart ridge
TURNING OFF THE STOVE
!/ Stove and co mponents will b e VERY hot for a p eriod of time af ter shutt ing off.
Never att empt to remov e or compact t he stove while it i s hot to the touch . Doing
so can quickl y result in sever e burns and pos sible ignition of f lammable mater ials.
!/ Always dis connect st ove from car tridge befor e storing it. F ailure to discon nect
stove fro m cartridg e before stor ing may cause fu el to leak and caus e fire, burns,
severe injur y or death. A lways store t he fuel cart ridges in a well- ventilated
location, w ell away from an y possible heat o r ignition sourc e such as: heat ers,
furnace s, water heat ers, gas applianc es or pilot lights . Storing fuel c artridges n ear
any heat or ign ition source or w here temper atures exc eed 120 F (49 C) , can result
in fire, explo sion or poisoning r esulting in ser ious bodily injur y or death.
