
9. To view the film captured, remove the MicroSD card from the unit and insert in
to any card reading device, or keeping the card in the unit, attach the unit to a
computer using the USB cable, The files show as .avi files (15 seconds = 15kb.)
10. When the card memory is full, the PIR/Camera will begin recording over the
oldest files.
INSTALLATION (Battery):
1. Mount the light in a suitable location. Be mindful that the spot light is most
effective at 6 metres (18 feet).
2. Point or direct light and PIR/Camera at the object(s) you wish to illuminate and
film.
3. Unclip the cover at the base of the unit and insert your MicroSD card - Max. size
32GB.
Please note: The unit is not supplied with a MicroSD card and will not work without
one.
4. Connect the female end of the 10 metre extension cable in to the red socket.
5. Remove the male end and connect the wires to crocodile clips (Gwaza part
6053).
6. Connect crocodile clips to a 12V battery.
7. Please see steps 7-10 of the mains power installation.
TO CHANGE THE DATE AND TIME:
1. Remove the MicroSD card and plug in to a suitable reader in order to open the
root folder on your computer. Alternatively, keep the card in the unit and
connect to the computer directly using the USB cable.
2. Once the root folder is open, open the “time.txt” file that is there as standard.
3. Overwrite the previous date and time with the correct one, keeping the exact
same format as shown:
(year.month.date hour.minute.second). Make sure there is one space between
the date and time.
4. Click “save”.
