System set up
1. To begin, plug in the supplied USB mouse into the USB port at the bottom of the main unit.
2. Plug in the DC adapter to the power port at the bottom of the unit.
3. Switch on the power at the wall. You will hear the system beep as it starts up.
4. Plug in the DC adapters to your Cameras.
5. Switch on the power at the wall for the Cameras.
6. Plug in Network Cable (RJ45 / Ethernet Lead) to the network port.
7. Affix the antenna to the main unit and cameras as seen below.
The most ideal location to set up the base unit is in a location where it can pick up a signal from all the cameras.
Please bear in mind that signal interference may be caused by obstruction from objects, walls etc. It is also
essential that your main unit is connected via Ethernet if you wish to view the cameras online.
It is recommended not to mount the cameras until you are sure that they are in range of the main unit – plan
where you intend on mounting the cameras, ensure that they have a power source and are in range of your main
unit or can establish a connection using an RJ45 cable (Ethernet) either directly from your router or a wall socket.

5
Configuring the Cameras
1. Ensure that the main unit and cameras are switched on and in range of your main unit.
2. The first screen you will see will look like this – you are now ready to install the cameras.
3. Using the USB mouse provided, right click anywhere on the screen to bring up the options
and click on ‘Setup Wizard’ using the left click.
4. The system will prompt for a password. By default, the Username is ‘Admin’ and the
password is left blank. Click OK to continue.

6
5. You will see a screen with a QR code which contains your P2P ID. This isn’t necessary yet,
so click next.
6. Adjust your date / time settings accordingly and click ‘Apply’, then click Next.
7. Your main unit will then begin to scan your network settings (make sure your unit is
connected via Ethernet to either your home router or a wall socket).

7
8. Once scanned, your unit should display a green ‘healthy network’ message. If this is not the
case, click ‘Diagnose’ and ‘Fix’ if necessary, or click ‘Previous’ to go back and try again. If it is
still showing a problem, please ensure that you have an active broadband internet
connection from your router to your main unit.
9. The next screen will display information about the internal hard disc. Check the status of the
drive to see if it is formatted. If not, click the tickbox next to your drive and click ‘Format’ to
format the drive. If the drive is already formatted, click ‘Done’ to proceed.
10. Right click anywhere on the screen to bring up the menu options, and select ‘Add Camera’.
11. Your main unit will then begin adding the cameras to the screen. Once all cameras are
displayed, click ‘Exit’ to finish. If the cameras are not displaying, check that they are within
range of your base unit.
12. Your cameras are now configured on the screen. If there have been any issues, such as the
main unit beeping frantically, please refer to the troubleshooting guide at the end of this
manual.

8
Setting the Cameras to Record
1. Right click anywhere on the screen, and select ‘Manual Record’.
2. Select which cameras you would like to record by clicking in the tickboxes, or alternatively
click ‘All on’ if you’d like all cameras recording, then click ‘Ok’.
3. You will now see a red dot in the corner of the channels you have selected and the unit is
now recording the video streams to the internal Hard Disc.

9
How to playback a recording
1. Right click anywhere on the screen and click ‘Video playback’, then select the duration of
time you would like to play back, for example ‘5 Min’ would be the last 5 minutes that have
been recorded. Alternatively, you can perform a manual search for a specific time where an
event may have happened. Finally, select the Channel you would like to play back.
2. Use the bar at the bottom of the screen to select the playback speed to review your footage.

10
Remotely Accessing using iPhone / iPad / Android
1. Download iSmView from either the App
Store (iPhone / iPad) or Play Store

Troubleshooting Guide
Unit keeps beeping
If you find that your main unit is beeping erratically, then you will need to configure the settings on
your unit for the alarm. An alarm is sounded if there is motion detected, the PIR is triggered or video
loss has been detected.
Right click on the screen and select System Setup. Click on Channel Setup at the top of the screen,
and then Video Detection on the left pane of the screen.
Click on the box next to ‘Detection’ and select ‘Motion’. Untick ‘Alarm’ and ‘Buzzer’ below the
button that says ‘Area Edit’ and then click the button towards the top right of the screen that says
‘Copy To’. Tick the box on the far left that says ‘All’ and then click Ok. Click apply at the bottom of
the screen, and then repeat the steps with ‘PIR Input Armed’ and ‘Video Loss’ which is in the box
next to ‘Detection’. After all are done, click ‘Apply’ and then click OK.
Cameras are not being detected by the Main Unit
Please ensure that before setting up, you have plugged in and switched on the Cameras. After doing
so, make sure that the cameras are in range of the main unit. It is advised that you set up the
cameras close to the Main Unit before mounting them in their desired location.
Cannot connect the internet to the Main Unit
Please ensure that your main unit is connected via Ethernet Cable (RJ45) to a router or port which
has an active broadband connection. The unit works with Wi-Fi to connect the cameras only, not to
connect to the internet. If your device is connected via Ethernet, then right click anywhere on the
screen and select ‘Fast Network’. This will test your internet connection, and will present any errors
if they should arise. To resolve most errors, click ‘Diagnose’ or ‘Fix’ and the device will automatically
configure to your settings.
