The Connect Mesh 6 way distributor acts as a node in your BLE Mesh network and manages connected devices
suchasLEDproductsandelectricalfurniturettings.
3.2. Power Supply
ConnectthedevicetothepowersupplybypluggingitintoaHäfeleLooxLEDDriver.Pleasenotethespecied
maximumallowedpowervaluesoftheDriverandtheConnectMesh6waydistributor.Thisinformationinuencesthe
maximum performance of the connected devices.
3.3. Ports
The Connect Mesh 6 way distributors have 6 controllable outputs and one output that outputs the supply voltage on
the input side unchanged.
3.4. Sensor Port
Each Connect Mesh 6 way distributor has a standard Loox sensor input. Hereby, various sensors can be connected
with this. This can be e.g. dimmer and switch. See the “Questions and Answers” section.

3.5. Provisioning
TheHäfeleConnectMesh6waydistributorcanbeprovisionedwhentheredStatus-LEDonthetopsideashes.Startthe
Connect Mesh app and tap on “Add devices”. The box will be displayed in the list of devices found. Tap the icon to start
the provisioning mode. Follow the instructions in the app. After provisioning, you can assign the individual functions to the
box in the app. Read the detailed instructions for the Connect Mesh App.
3.6. Update Mode
Option 1: Update Mode Through App
• Incasethermwareisoutdated,theuserwillbenotiedinsidetheConnectMeshApp.Theretheusercanstartand
perform the update of the mesh device.
Option2:ManualUpdatebyPowerOn/O
• Start the device by connecting to the LOOX Driver while pressing the reset button.
• Switch ON/OFF the Connect Mesh 6 way distributor 4 times at consistent interval of 2 seconds each. (Attention: Wait
untiltheredstatusledisobeforeswitchingONagain).
• The status LED will light constantly signify Update Mode.
Now use the Häfele Connect Mesh App to update the device.
Option 3: Manual Update by Reset Button - press for 6 seconds
• Press the status button for 6 seconds and release it.
• This will keep the Connect Mesh 6 way distributor in update mode for 60 seconds and can be updated using the
Häfele Connect Mesh App.

3.7. Reset
Option 1: Reset by App
• In case the device is provisioned and connected to the app, the user can reset the mesh device via the Connect Mesh
App(moreinformationinthespecicHäfeleConnectMeshApp).
Option2:ManualResetbyPowerOn/O
• Switch ON/OFF the mesh device 8 times at consistent intervals of 2 seconds each. (Attention: Wait until the red status
ledisobeforeswitchingONagain.)
ThestatusLEDwillstartashingtosignifythesuccessofhardwarereset.Thisidentiesthatthedeviceisresetand
can again be provisioned.
Option 3: Manual Reset by Reset Button – press for at least 8 seconds
• Press the status button for at least 8 seconds and release it.
• This will reset the mesh device.
Now use the Häfele Connect Mesh App to provision the device.
3.8. Status LED
The status LED is located on the top of the device.
Status LED Behavior Meaning
Off TheConnectMesh6waydistributorisswitchedo.
Flashing The Connect Mesh 6 way distributor is in provisioning mode and is ready to be added
to an existing Connect Mesh network.
On The Connect Mesh 6 way distributor is either in normal operation mode or in OTA
update mode.
If it is OTA update mode, it will remain in OTA update mode for 60 seconds or until the
power is uninterrupted.
