HOW TO USE
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
1. Place the iron on its heel.

temperature and then turn the temperature dial to align with
the appropriate fabric type on the iron according to the
following:
• Synthetics
•• Silk, Wool

MAX Linen
If you do not know what kind of fabric an article is made of, you
will need to determine a suitable ironing temperature by ironing
a part that will not be visible when worn.
If the fabric contains several kinds of fibres, always select the
temperature most applicable. If a garment contains 60%
polyester and 40% cotton, you must always choose the material
requiring the lowest temperature i.e. Polyester
Silk, woolen and synthetic materials; iron the reverse side of the
fabric to prevent shiny patches. Avoid using the spray function to
prevent stains.
Start ironing garments that require the lowest ironing
temperature, such as those made of synthetic fibres.
3. Plug the iron into an earthed wall socket, and the temperature
light goes on.
4. When the temperature light goes out, wait a while before you
start ironing.
The temperature light will go on and off during ironing, this is
normal.
