SAFETY INFORMATION
Read these instructions carefully and completely before using your
appliance and keep in a safe convenient place for reference when
necessary.
GENERAL SAFETY
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
• The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction. Children should be supervised and
ensure they do not play with the appliance
• If the product is handed over to someone else for personal use or
second-hand use purposes, the user manual, product labels and
other relevant documents and parts should be also given.
• Before installation, read the instructions carefully.
• Do not operate the product if it is defective or has any visible
damage.
• Ensure that the product function knobs are switched off after
every use.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• If the product has a failure, it should not be operated unless it is
repaired by an Authorised Service Agent. There is the risk of
electric shock!

ELECTRICAL SAFETY (continued)
• Only connect the product to a grounded outlet/line with the
voltage and protection as specified in the “Technical
specifications”. Have the grounding installation made by a
qualified electrician while using the product with or without a
transformer. Our company shall not be liable for any problems a
rising due to the product not being earthed in accordance with
the local regulations.
• Never wash the product by spreading or pouring water onto it!
There is the risk of electric shock!
• Never touch the plug with wet hands! Never unplug by pulling on
the cable, always pull out by holding the plug.
• The product must be disconnected during installation,
maintenance, cleaning and repairing procedures.
• If the power connection cable for the product is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• The appliance must be installed so that it can be completely
disconnected from the mains supply.
• The separation must be provided by a switch built into the fixed
electrical installation, according to construction regulations.
• Rear surface of the oven gets hot when it is in use. Make sure
that the electrical connection does not contact the rear surface;
otherwise, connections can get damaged.
• Do not trap the mains cable between the oven door and frame
and do not route it over hot surfaces. Otherwise, cable insulation
may melt and cause fire as a result of short circuit.
• Any work on electrical equipment and systems should only be
carried out by authorised and qualified persons.
• In case of any damage, switch off the product and disconnect it
from the mains. To do this, turn off the fuse at home.
• Make sure that fuse rating is compatible with the product.

PRODUCT SAFETY
• WARNING: The appliance and its accessible parts become hot d
uring use. Care should be taken to avoid touching heating
elements. Children less than 8 years of age shall be kept away
unless continuously supervised.
• Never use the product when your judgment or coordination is i
mpaired by the use of alcohol and/or drugs.
• Be careful when using alcoholic drinks in your dishes. Alcohol
evaporates at high temperatures and may cause fire since it can
ignite when it comes into contact with hot surfaces.
• Food Poisoning Hazard: Do not let food sit in oven for more than 1
hour before or after cooking. Doing so can result in food
poisoning or sickness.
• Do not place any flammable materials close to the product as the
sides may become hot during use.
• During use the appliances becomes hot. Care should be taken to
avoid touching heating elements inside the oven.
• Keep all ventilation slots clear of obstructions.
• Do not heat closed tins and glass jars in the oven. The pressure
that would build-up in the tin/jar may cause it to burst.
• Do not place baking trays, dishes or aluminium foil directly onto
the bottom of the oven. The heat accumulation might damage the
bottom of the oven.
• The accessible surfaces of the appliance get very hot. Never
touch the hot surfaces.
• The Appliance becomes very hot, it must not be installed in a
built-in unit.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as: -staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and
others working environments; -farm houses; -by clients in hotels,
motels and other residential type environments; -bed and
breakfast type environments.
• Do not use steam cleaners to clean the appliance as this may
cause an electric shock.

• Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to c
lean the oven door glass since they can scratch the surface, which
may result in shattering of the glass.
• Placing the wire shelf and baking tray onto the rails properly. It is
important to place the wire shelf and/or tray onto the rack
properly. Slide the wire shelf or tray between 2 rails and make
sure that it is balanced before placing food on it
• Do not use the product if the front door glass removed or cracked.
• Do not use the oven handle to hang towels for drying. Do not hang
up towel, gloves, or similar textile products when the grill function
is at open door.
• Always use heat resistant oven gloves when putting in or removing
dishes into/from the hot oven.
• Place the baking paper into the cooking pot or on to the oven
accessory (tray, wire grill etc.) together with the food and then
insert all into the preheated oven. Remove the excess parts of the
baking paper overflowing from the accessory or the pot in order to
prevent the risk of touching the oven’s heating elements. Never
use the baking paper in an operating temperature higher than the
indicated value for the baking paper. Do not place the baking paper
directly on the base of the oven.
• WARNING: Ensure that the appliance is switched off before
replacing the lamp to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
• The appliance must not be installed behind a decorative door in
order to avoid overheating.
• Product must be placed directly on the floor. It must not be placed
onto a base or a pedestal.
• WARNING: Unattended cooking on a hob with fat or oil can be
dangerous and may result in fire.
• NEVER try to extinguish a fire with water but switch off the
appliance and then cover flame e.g. with a lid or a fire blanket.
• CAUTION: The cooking process has to be supervised. A short-term
cooking process must be supervised continuously.

• WARNING: Vapour pressure that build up due to the moisture on
the hob surface or at the bottom of the pot can cause the pot to
move. Therefore, make sure that the oven surface and bottom of
the pots are always dry. Prevention against possible fire risk!
• Ensure all electrical connections are secure and tight to prevent
risk of arcing.
• Do not use damaged cables or extension cables.
• Ensure liquid or moisture is not accessible to the electrical
connection point.
INTENDED USE
• CAUTION: This appliance is for cooking purposes only. It must not
be used for other purposes, for example room heating.
• This product should not be used for warming the plates under the
grill, drying towels, dish cloths etc. by hanging them on the oven
door handles. This product should also not be used for room
heating purposes.
• The manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage caused by
improper use or handling errors.
• The oven can be used for defrosting, baking, roasting and grilling
food. Safety for children
• WARNING: Accessible parts may become hot during use. Young
children should be kept away.
• The packaging materials will be dangerous for children. Keep the
packaging materials away from children. Please dispose of all
parts of the packaging according to environmental standards.
• Electrical products are dangerous to children. Keep children away
from the product when it is operating and do not allow them to
play with the product. Do not place any items above the appliance
that children may reach for.
• When the door is open, do not load any heavy object on it and do
allow children to sit on it. It may overturn or door hinges may get
damaged.
This product is designed for domestic use.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Unpack the oven removing all packaging materials.
2. Wipe all surfaces with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughtly.
3. Wash the accesories in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry.
Before placing back in the oven.
Do not immerse the oven in water or any other liquid.
Do not use aggressive detergents, cleaning powders/creams or any
sharp objects durning cleaning.
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the
oven door glass since this may scratch the surface, which may result in
shattering of the glass.
4. Ensure the oven is sitting on a stable, level and heat-resistant
surface
5. Plug the oven into the power socket and switch the oven on.
6. Allow the oven to run for approx. 15 mintues by turning the
oven function control to both the upper and lower heating
elements , and set the temperature dail to 230oC. This is burn
away any remaining odur and protective substances using during
the manufacturing process.
7. When finished and cool, it’s ready for use.
On initial Heating smoke and fumes will be generated. This is normal
and harmless. It is due to burning of the protective substance applied to
the heating elements in the factory. Allow for sufficient ventilation
around the oven.
Note: The indicator lights for the hob and oven functions will remain
illuminated whilst the hob or oven is on and the timer is in use.
Do not force the timer dail to ‘0’; allow it to run down.
Caution: Always wear heat-resistant oven gloves when removing hot
food from the oven. Use the baking tray handle to remove the wire rack
or baking tray, ensuring that it si securly hooked into postion.
WARNING: Never allow food to come into direct contact with the heating
elements; always maintain a 3cm gap.

1. Prepare the food that is going to be cooked
2. Select the desired oven function - upper or lower heating
elements (or both) using the oven control.
3. Turn the temperature dial to the required heat setting for the food
to be cooked.
4. Preheat the oven by turning the timer dial to 5 minutes. It’s
recommended to preheat the oven before use for at least 5
mintues. The indicator light will light up to confirm the oven is on.
5. Using oven gloves, open the oven door and place the food to be
cooked onto the baking tray or wire rack and cook for the desired
time. The weight of the food should not exceed 3kg.
6. Turn the timer dial to the required cooking time. Check the food
periodically; turning the food if necesary to achieve an even bake.
7. Once the cooking is complete, turn the oven control to the ‘OFF’
postion. If the timer is still running allow it finish, do not force it
to ‘0’.
8. Using oven gloves, open the oven door and remove the baking tray
or wire rack using the baking tray handle.
9. Switch off and unplug the oven allowing it to cool down.
Note: The baking tray handle has two sets of hooks; the larger hooks fit
the baking tray and the smaller hooks lock onto the wire rack.

2. Select the upper heating element using the oven control.
3. Turn the temperture to maximum (230oC).
4. Turn the timer dial to the required grilling time. The Oven
indicator light will light up to confirm the oven is on.
5. Using oven gloves, open the oven door and place the food to be
cooked onto the wire rack and cook for the desired time. The
weight of the food should not exceed 3kg.
WARNING: Never allow food to come into direct contact with the heating
elements; always maintain a 3cm gap.

6. Once the cooking is complete, turn the oven control to the ‘OFF’
postion. If the timer is still running allow it finish, do not force it
to ‘0’.
7. Using oven gloves, open the oven door fully and remove the baking
tray or wire rack using the baking tray handle.
9. Switch off and unplug the oven allowing it to cool down.
Note: The Oven door must be kept open when using the grill.
1. Select either or both of the hotplates using the hotplate dial.
2. Turn the timer dial to the required cooking time. The hotplate
indicator will light up to confirm the hotplate is on. This will
remain on until the Hobplate is turned off.
3. Once the cooking is complete, turn the Hotplate dial to the ‘OFF’
postion. If the timer is still running allow it finish, do not force it
to ‘0’.
4. Switch off and unplug the oven allowing it to cool down.
Note: All saucepans used on the hotplates should have a flat base that
should be no larger than the hotplate (approx 16cm)
Never cook food on the hotplates directly, always use a saucepan.
CAUTION: The hotplate will remain hot for a long time after cooking.
Touching the hotplate while hot will cause burns.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Ensure to unplug the oven and allow it to cool before
cleaning.
1. Wipe up all spillages, to avoid discolouring of the surfaces and
corroding the hotplates.
2. Hand wash the tray, rack, and handle in warm soapy water.
3. Clean the glass with a proprietary glass cleaner.
4. Wipe the outside surfaces with a damp cloth (you may use a
non-abrasive cleaner).
5. Use a non-abrasive proprietary oven cleaner on the internal
surfaces of the oven. Leave the oven door open afterwards, to
dry the oven thoroughly.
Do not immersethe oven in water or any other liquid.
Do not use scourers, wire wool, or soap pads.
Note: Over time, heat will cause discolouration of the surfaces. This is
unavoidable, but it won’t affect the functionality of the oven.

disposed of with other household waste.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic (WEEE) Directive
has been
introduced across the EU:
• to recycle waste electrical products using the
best available recovery and recycling
techniques in order.

• to treat any hazardous substances and
• to avoid increasing landfill.
WEEE product should be disposed of by handing it
over at a designated collection point. For more
information about where you can drop off your waste
product for recycling please contact your local
authority.

Earth connection.

DO NOT DISASSEMBLE THIS APPLIANCE. TOUCHING SOME OF THE
INTERNAL COMPONENTS CAN BE EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS.
This appliance must be earthed.
Consult a qualified electrician or service engineer if the earthing
instructions are not completely understood or doubts exist as to
whether the appliance is properly earthed.

WARRANTY (UK & IRELAND ONLY)
This product is guaranteed for 2 year from the date of original purchase.
If the product fails within this period due to faulty materials or workmanship, it
will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion. Proof of purchase will
be required.
This warranty applies only to:
• Product installed and used in accordance with the instructions
contained in this manual.
• Product used for domestic purposes only.
• Product purchased in the UK and Eire.
This warranty does not cover:
• Cosmetic damage.
• Normal wear and tear or consumable parts.
• Incorrect voltage supply or power surges.
• Customer misuse, modifications or adjustments.
• Products with unreadable or removed serial numbers.
Haden disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential loss or damages.
