in rder t av id the risk f child entrapment.
It must be n ticed that air c nditi ner system c ntains refrigerants, which require specialized waste disp sal. The valuable
materials c ntained in an air c nditi ner can be recycled. C ntact y ur l cal waste disp sal center f r pr per disp sal f an ld
air c nditi ner and c ntact y ur l cal auth rity r y ur dealer if y u have any questi n. Please ensure that the pipew rk f y ur
air c nditi ner d es n t get damaged pri r t being picked up by the relevant waste disp sal center, and c ntribute t envir nmental
awareness by insisting n an appr priate, anti-p lluti n meth d f disp sal.
Disposal of the packaging of yo r new air conditioner
All the packaging materials empl yed in the package f y ur new air c nditi ner may be disp sed with ut any danger t the
envir nment.
The cardb ard b x may be br ken r cut int smaller pieces and given t a waste paper disp sal service. The wrapping bag
made f p lyethylene and the p lyethylene f am pads c ntain n flu r chl ric hydr carb n.
All these valuable materials may be taken t a waste c llecting center and used again after adequate recycling.

services nearest t y ur h use.

Always remember t unplug the air c nditi ner bef re pening inlet grill. Never unplug y ur air c nditi ner by pulling n the
p wer c rd. Always grip plug firmly and pull straight ut fr m the utlet.
All electrical repairs must be carried ut by qualified electricians. Inadequate repairs may result in a maj r s urce f danger f r
the user f the air c nditi ner.
D n t damage any parts f the air c nditi ner that carry refrigerant by piercing r perf rating the air c nditi ner's tubes with
sharp r p inted items, crushing r twisting any tubes, r scraping the c atings ff the surfaces. If the refrigerant spurts ut
and gets int eyes, it may result in seri us eye injuries.

2. If the supply c rd is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer r its service agent r a similar qualified pers n.
3. If the fuse n PC b ard is br ken please change it with the type f T 3.15A /250VAC.
4. The wiring meth d sh uld be in line with the l cal wiring standard.
5. The breaker f the air c nditi ner sh uld be all-p le switch, and the distance between its tw c ntacts sh uld be n
less than 3mm. Such means f r disc nnecti n must be inc rp rati n in the fixed wiring.
6. The installati n height f the ind r unit is rec mmended fr m 2.5m t 2.7m.
7. The distance between its tw terminal bl cks f ind r unit and utd r unit sh uld n t be ver 5m. If exceeded, the
diameter f the wire sh uld be enlarged acc rding t the l cal wiring standard.
8. The waste battery shall be disp sed pr perly.

The line c ntr ller displays the running state in the latest
time (timing and swing state may n t be displayed).
1. Press "ON/OFF" switch.
The air c nditi ner starts perating, and the light n the
wired c ntr ller is n.
3.Press "TEMP" switch
Change set temperature:press TEMP r TEMP every
time, [SET] will display,and set temperature will
increase/reduce
4.Press "FAN SPEED" switch

The temperature is n the basis f the setting value. The wind temperature may n t reach the setting value because f

flicker f r 30 sec nds. All the switches are invalid at the time.

1.Press "CLOCK" switch
2.Press " " and " " to reg late the time.
Setting of power fail re compensation f nction
When SW1-6 n PCB f wire c ntr ller is OFF, it will be in p wer failure c mpensati n. If the SW1-6 is ON, it has n
c mpensati n functi n.
When the p wer is n after black ut, the unit will return t the f rmer state if c mpensati n functi n is set. Otherwise, it
will st p. When restarting the unit, press "ON/OFF" switch n wired c ntr ller.
3.Press "setting" switch. The setting is achieved.
"CLOCK" flickers, and the time displayed is the real time.
The time increases a minute each time y u press " " switch.
The time decreases a minute each time y u press " " switch.
If n t in timing, the screen displays the real time.
If in timing, the screen displays the timing time.
If y u want t kn w the real time, g t the first step.
Notes
The timing is based n the real time. Thus, the real time sh uld be regulated in advance.

c ntr ller and the master unit (the ind r unit c nnected with wire c ntr ller directly), the thers c nnect with the master
unit thr ugh 2 pieces f p lar wire(3 pieces f r m del AD**SS1ERA, AD**SS1ERA(N), AD**SS1ERA(N)(P), and the
bridge CN22 CN23 n slave units PCB sh uld be cut ff).

"HOT KEEP" is operated in the following cases.
When heating is started:

and the perati n will be aut matically changed t the

Defr sting perati n (in the heating m de):
When it is liable t fr st, the heating perati n is st pped

h ur, and defr sting is perated. After defr sting is
c mpleted, perati n m de is aut matically changed t
rdinary heating perati n.
When the r m therm stat is actuated:
When r m temperature increases and r m temperature
c ntr ller actuates, the fan speed is aut matically changed
t st p under l w temperature c nditi n f ind r heat
exchanger. When r m temperature decreases, air
c nditi ner aut matically changes ver t rdinary heating
perati n.
Heat pump type warming
With the heat pump type warming, the mechanism f heat
pump that c ncentrate heat f utd r air with the help f
refrigerant t warm the ind r space, is utilized.
Defr sting perati n
When a r m is warmed with a heat pump type air c nditi ner,
fr st accumulates n the heat exchanger f utd r unit al ng
with the dr p f ind r temperature. Since the accumulated
fr st reduces the effect f warming, it is necessery t
aut matically switch the perati n t the defr sting m de.
During the defr sting perati n, heating perati n is
interrupted.
Atm spheric temperature and warming capacity
Warming capacity f heat pump type air c nditi ner decreases
al ng with the dr p f utd r temperature.
When the warming capacity is n t sufficient, it is rec mmended
t use an ther heating implement.
Peri d f warm-up
Since the heat pump type air c nditi ner empl ys a meth d
t circulate warm winds t warm
the entire space f a r m, it takes time bef re the r m
temperature rises.
It is rec mmendable t start the perati n a little earlier in a
very c ld m rning.
Warming operation
Cleaning the air filter
1.Clean the air filter by lightly tapping it r with the cleaner.
It is m re effective t clean
the air filter with water.
If the air filter is very dirty, diss lve neutral detergent in
the lukewarm water (appr x. 30 C),
rinse the air filter in the water, and th r ughly wash ff
the detergent n the air filter
in the plain water.
2.After drying the air filter, set it up n the air c nditi ner.

Care and Maintenance

Pre-Season Care

Post-Season Care
Operate the unit with FAN m de n a fair day f r ab ut half
a day t dry the inside f the unit well.
St p perati n and turn ff the p wer supply switch. Electric
p wer is c nsumed even if the air c nditi ner is in st p.
Clean the air filter and set it in the place.
Care and Cleaning of the nit
Clean with s ft and dry cl th.
If it is very dirty, diss lve neutral detergent in the lukewarm
water and make the cl th wet with the water. After wiping,
clean ff the detergent using clean water.

the rare case f a refrigerant leakage, t prevent the exceeding f thresh ld c ncentrati n. In regards t preparing this
c untermeasure, c nsult with the c mpany fr m which y u perchased the equipment, and make the installati n acc rdingly.
In the rare event that a refrigerant leakage and exceeding f thresh ld c ncentrati n d es ccur, there is the danger f a
resultant xygen deficiency accident.
F r installati n, c nfirm that the installati n site can sufficiently supp rt heavy weight. When strength is insufficient, injury can
result fr m a falling f the unit.
Execute the prescribed installati n c nstructi n t prepare f r earthquakes and the str ng winds f typh ns and hurricanes,
etc. Impr per installati ns can result in accidents due t a vi lent falling ver f the unit.
F r electrical w rk, please see that a licensed electrician executes the w rk while f ll wing the safety standards related t
electrical equipment, and l cal regulati ns as well as the installati n instructi ns, and that nly exclusive use circuits are used.
Insufficient p wer s urce circuit capacity and defective installati n executi n can be the cause f electric sh cks and fires.
Accurately c nnect wiring using the pr per cable, and insure that the external f rce f the cable is n t c nducted t the terminal
c nnecti n part, thr ugh pr perly securing it. Impr per c nnecti n r securing can result in heat generati n r fire.
Take care that wiring d es n t rise upward, and accurately install the lid/service panel. Its impr per installati n can als result
in heat generati n r fire.
When setting up r m ving the l cati n f the air c nditi ner, d n t mix air etc. r anything ther than the designated refrigerant
within the refrigerati n cycle. Rupture and injury caused by abn rmal high pressure can result fr m such mixing.
Always use access ry parts and auth rized parts f r installati n c nstructi n. Using parts n t auth rized by this c mpany can
result in water leakage, electric sh ck, fire and refrigerant leakage.
