T his appliance is des igned to operate in
ambient temperatures (surrounding air
temperature) between 16 and 32
If these temperatures are exceeded i.e.,
colder or warmer, the appliance will not
operate correctly. S hould the ambient
temperatures be exceeded for long periods,
the temperature in the freez er will rise
above -18 C and food spoilage may occur.
Before Use
Remove all securing tapes.
W a s h the ins ide of the a pplia nc e with luke wa rm
wa ter with a little bica rbona te of s oda a dde d ( 5ml
to 0. 5 litre of water). Do not use s oa p or
detergent as the s mell may linger. Dry the
applia nce thoroughly.
To S tart the A ppliance
1. Allow the a ppliance to s ta nd for 2 hours
after installation.
2. P lug in the appliance and s witch on at the
mains supply.
3. T urn the the rmos ta t c ontrol to the required
s etting. The MEDsetting is usually s uitable
for normal operation (see thermostat control).
4. Leave the appliance for approximately 4
hours for the c orre c t tempera ture to be
reached before placing food inside.
