7. Instruction of operation
Light：the switch of light which is in the cabinet.(HYCD-282A only)
Refrigerator temperature zone：The temperature & parameters and alarm code for cool function;
Freezer temperature zone：The temperature & parameters and alarm code for cool function;
Alarm indicator light：light flashing means alarm happened；
Lock indicator light：light means the lock status；
Set：setting parameters and confirm；
Digit Tran：adjusting the bit of the parameter；
Temp adjust：adjusting the temp；
Temp zone Tran：swap the display between refrigerator and freezer zone;

Alarm test：in lock status，press this button to inquire alarm code；in unlock status，press this button，all the LEDs show“8”，
which is used for checking LEDs；
Silence ：alarm pause ；
Defrost ：in unlock status，press this button for 5 s，the forced defrosting function will work；in unlock status press this
button again to stop defrosting。
Method for adjusting and setting temperature on the cabinet:
1. Unlock
If the “lock” indicator lamp is on, all buttons are locked except “ ”. By holding button “” for 5s, F0 is
displayed in display area of temperature in the cabinet, and the digit “0” flashes. Then press “ ”, F1 is displayed, and by
pressing button “ ”, the keyboard is unlocked and the room temperature is displayed on the display panel. In case of no
button operation, the keyboard will automatically locked.
2. Temperature setting
In the state of being unlocked, press the button “ ”, L0 is displayed on the display screen, and digit “0” flashes. By
pressing the button again, the default temperature of 5℃set for the refrigerator and -40 ℃for the freezer are displayed on
the displayed screen, and the second digit flashes on the display screen. (if it is not used for the first time, the temperature
set last time will be displayed). By pressing button “ ”, the flashing digit changes, and by pressing “ ” the value of
the currently flashing digit can be changed. Adjust to the required temperature, and by pressing “ ” again, the set value
becomes valid and is stored. Temperature setting range: 0~16 ℃for refrigerator and -10~-45 ℃for freezer.
3. Setting high temperature alarm
After being unlocked, press button “ ”, L0 is displayed on the display screen and digit “0” flashes. Then by pressing
button “ ”, L1 is displayed on the display screen. By pressing button “ ” again, the default temperature set for high
temperature alarm is displayed on the display screen and the second digit of the default value of temperature flashes (the
default temperature set for high temperature alarm is +5 in the cabinet. Notes: the “ ”before the number displayed is for
“+”), and then press “ ”.
4. Setting low temperature alarm
After being unlocked, Lo is displayed on the display screen and digit ‘0’ flashes. By pressing button “ ” twice, L2
flashes on the display screen. Press button “ ”, and the default temperature set for low temperature alarm is displayed on

the display screen and the second digit flashes (the default temperature set for low temperature alarm is -5℃in the cabinet).
If the set temperature is to be changed, press button “ ” to change the flashing digit and by pressing “ ”, value of
the currently flashing digit can be changed. After the setting is completed, the value set is stored. Temperature range set for
low temperature alarm: min. temperature displayed ≤temperature set for low temperature alarm- set temperature ≤-5 ℃, or
otherwise, set as the default value.
5. Temperature zone switch:
In the state of being unlocked, press the button “set”, “L0” is displayed on the display screen, press the button “temperature
zone switch”, “L0” is switched to be displayed on another display screen. At this time, related parameter on this display
screen can be set.
6. Setting delay in start-up
In the state of being unlocked, hold simultaneously buttons “set” and “temperature adjustment” for 5s, a delay time for the
refrigerating compressor is displayed, and by pressing the button “temperature adjustment’, the required time is set.
7. Setting stop of the refrigerator or the freezer:
In the state of being unlocked, press button “set”, and “L0” is displayed on the displayed panel. Then press “temperature
adjustment”, L5 is set, and press button “set” again. 1 flashes on the display screen (the default normal start/stop status of
the compressor), and if the refrigerator/freezer is to be stopped, press “temperature adjustment”, and “1” is changed into “0”.
The refrigerator/freezer cannot be used again until a change for “1” is done again.
8. Setting inquiry
In the state of being unlocked, press the button “set”, “L0” appears on the display screen and digit “0” flashes. Press
“temperature adjustment” to change it to 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. press “set” again, a correspondent value is displayed. Among them,
L0 stands for temperature set in the cabinet, L1 stands for temperature set for high temperature alarm, L2 stands for
temperature set for low temperature alarm, L3 stands for the current voltage, L4 stands for the current ambient temperature
and L5 stands for state set for start/stop of the compressor.
9. Freezing defrosting:
In the state of being unlocked, by holding the button “freezing defrost” for over 5s, the freezer compressor stops, and “dF”
is displayed on the freezer display screen. Temperature inside the cabinet gradually rises and operation of the compressor
cannot automatically be restored. Only in the state of being unlocked, and by holding button “freezing defrost” for over 5s
can the freezer compressor be started again for normal operation.
10. Temperature calibration
In the Unlocked state，press and for 5s，the display panel will show‘0’and flashing(the adjust zone is -5 to 5)，Press
to change the display Zone between refrigerator and freezer area，Press to calibrate the temperature.

when we want to adjust the parameter L0~L5，”we must change the ‘L0’to the temp zone that we need.

b．Defrosting function
Status of defrost in refrigerator space：inner fan works，compressor stop working, it is defrost
Forced defrost in freezer space：unlock status，press “ ” for 5s，The freezer compressor stop work，the freezer 冷
temp. zone will show “dF” for 3s and the cabinet temp for 5s alternately.
If we want to stop the defrost function, we should press 5s again at unlock status, and the compressor begin to work.
c．Safe mode of Sensor faulty
When the temp. sensor is faulty ，the freezer compressor will be 30mins on and 10mins off with the alarm；The
refrigerator compressor will be 15mins on and 15mins off with alarm.
d．USB storage function（HYCD-282C optional）

When the refrigerator-freezer is connected to power, it enters the active state and temperature in the cabinet is displayed on
the indicator.
Operating state reminder on the display panel:
“Lock” indicator lamp: with the lamp on, all settings are locked to avoid error operation.
Alarm: if the lamp is on or flashing, there is failure.
Button function:
Buzz cancel: in the state of being locked or unlocked, and during alarm, by pressing the “ ”, the alarming sound
can be cancelled, but light flashing alarm can not be cancelled.
Alarm test: for testing whether the alarm system is in normal operation and for testing whether the battery is with low
energy. In the state of being unlocked, by pressing the “ ”, all indicator lamps will be on, the buzzer gives out
alarm and “8” is displayed on all digital tubes. In the state of being locked, when there is alarm, by pressing the button,
the alarm code for correspondent failure is displayed and by which, the failure reason can be inquired.

1. If the freezer includes USB board，Please adjust the system time of the USB board
2. If the freezer includes printer, Please adjust the system time of the printer
3. The blood bank freezer is Air cooling freezer, when put the goods into the freezer, not too dense, make sure
the airflow can go through the shelves
4. The freezer has 4 wheels and 2 feet, After installation, make the two feet back to the earth, keep the freezer
stably
8．Replacement of main parts
a. Checking the PCB,USB board ,thermostat, transformer and battery;
The control board, thermostat, USB board and the battery are in the top space of the freezer;
Step1. Remove the screws on the top of the freezer, then we can remove the top cover of the electrical box;
Step2.find out the position of the spare parts in the top space, and replace the damaged one.
